Apps won't function.

Question

Well, I just got my new ipod touch today and I downloaded around four apps then when I came to add more later on, I wasn't able to open any newly downloaded ones. When I re-synced it via iTunes, I discovered then that NONE of the apps would work at all - I've searched for help for hours and hours with no luck. I've tried restoring/resetting/deleting apps, I've pretty much tried everything given to me and nothing will work. Any ideas what may be causing it? if anyone could help in any way it would be appreciated very much.
Edit: The non-functioning apps are all custom apps which I have downloaded, the default apps all work fine, just the ones that I have installed when I got it.

Hey all, I had this problem today with my new 32g touch and here's what I figured out. I tried turning it off and on, doing multiple hard reboots, resyncing everything, nothing worked. Eventually I reset it to factory settings and then loaded it like a new iPod, instead of restoring it from the backup information, and it's not done it since. I called Apple Customer Care and the guy I talked to was really helpful and walked me through the process of backing my info up, since the restore to like a new iPod would delete it all. He said yes, it's a known issue, especially with the newer iPods, and sometimes you can sync one app at a time if it happens repeatedly until you find the one that makes all of the others not open properly. At least then you'll know which app not to sync.
