Apps won't sycn on iTunes 11

Hello,
I have installed iTunes 11 on my PC and I try to use it.
When I use iTunes 11 for sync some songs, videos, and books, it works well.
But when I try to sync apps (update and install), there's a problem.
It should will show step 1 of 6 untill finish (step 6 of 6). But when reached step 3 of 6, the sync process stop and disappear.
my iPad is iPad 3rd generation WiFi+Cellular with iOS 5.1.1
what should I do?

Today I tried to sync apps from iTunes 10.7 into my iPad 3 on my brother's PC. And it works.
but sync apps from iTunes 11 into my iPad 3 is still not works on my PC.
And I tried to sync apps from iTunes 11 (on my PC) into my iPad 1, it works well. So I'am very confuse why my iPad 3 can't sync apps in iTunes 11 but my iPad 1 can snyc apps in iTunes 11.
But my iPad 3 can sync apps in iTunes 10.7

IPhone Apps won't sync to iTunes.

I need all my apps to sync to my iTunes for a complete backup. All the new apps I've purchased on my phone in the last few months do not show up on the apps tab in iTunes. I've hit the Sync button as well as Transfer Purchases. Each time the apps are said to be "copying" in iTunes but never actually transfer or appear in the apps tab. They're in the preview on the right, just not in the list on the left.
Sync Apps is checked, as well as Automatically Sync New Apps
I had the same trouble with the iPhone 3GS and had to re-download all my purchased apps when I upgraded to iPhone 4 because the backup I used to startup the 4 seemed to be incomplete.
It's as if iTunes won't update the backup file. It's stuck on a backup from a year or so ago.
Any ideas?

I'm also having this issue. There is no media folder with any apps files in my iTunes folder on my PC and so i can see all the apps in my library but they are all gray and have a "!" next to the app name because iTunes (nor myself) can't locate them.

Hi everyone, hopefully someone can help me with a frustrating problem!
As it stands I can download apps (via my ipod) and use them with no problems. However, I cannot sync ANY apps currently stored on my computer to my ipod. Ipod + itunes are both up to date, settings are the same as they always have been (working with no problems for the last year), music and video syncs fine.
If I remove an app from my ipod I cannot put it back on....all relevent boxes are ticked but apps won't appear in the ipod screen viewer within itunes.
Any help would be great thanks.

Have you reset your iPod and rebooted your computer?
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Purchased apps won't appear in iTunes, even though they are in my account

I switched to Windows 7 (clean install), installed iTunes and my purchased iTunes apps won't show up, neither in the library nor in the left hand column where you can sync with the ipod (touch). And yet the programs do appear on the list of purchased programs when I look into that on my account.
One thing is peculiar: iTunes states that this is my 3rd of 5 allowed PC's (and it used to say my 2nd of 5 while running the same PC with Vista).
Is there any way to re-get these programs (and updates!) back active?

Did you back up those apps before you did the clean install of Windows 7 and then copy them back into iTunes? If not, then they won't be there on the system so they won't show up. You need to either restore those apps from your backup or go through the purchase process again for each app; if you purchased them once, you won't be charged a second time even though it will look like it will until you actually download.

This is often the case when you reinstall the OS without deauthorizing the computer from the iTunes Store first. Take a look at this Apple support article; it may help:

Apps won't synch with iTunes

Apps loaded on iTunes won’t synch to my iPhone and Apps loaded directly to the phone won’t synch to iTunes. Everything else works just as it should.
What do I do wrong and what can I do to solve?

Sorry, just found out, this did the trick:
"Try reauthorizing your computer with iTunes.
At the iTunes menu bar, go to Store and select Authorize Computer."

Remote app won't connect to itunes (Iphone 5 & MBP)

I currently have a iPhone 5 and a MacBook Pro and am trying to connect them using the remote app (the latest version). Both are running on the same wireless network. I have gone through the troubleshooting items as found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1741.
I have tried:
---deleting the app & reinstalling
---turning on/off home sharing on both the Mac and iPhone
---resetting the router
---changing the router to WPA2
---turning on/off the Mac and iPhone
When I open the remote app, I can see my itunes library logo and I click on it to connect, but it then takes several seconds and then tells me "Remote can't connect to your iTunes library. Check your network settings and try again." I have also tried adding an itunes library with the passcode deal, and that does not work either. I will type in the CORRECT passcode, but then it tells me its incorrect (what the heck?). I will do it again, and this time it thinks for quite a while and then still tells me its incorrect.
This has been super frusterating, and knowledge about these issues seem to be scattered all over these forums. Has anyone had success overcoming this issue by doing something else that I have not tried?

I have this same issue. I can connect to my AppleTV fine but not Itunes on my MAC. It has worked for me previously with my Windows PC but I cannot for the life of me get it to connect to Itunes running on my MacBook Air. I am running the latest software on all devices. Both are connected to the same network using an airport express. There has to be something wrong here.

Certain apps won't transfer from itunes to ipod

I have the latest updates for itunes and ipod touch.
Today I noticed several of my apps are no longer visible on my ipod. I say "visible" because when I try to re-download them from the app store, the ipod thinks I already have them and therefore the app store does not give me a download button.
I transferred my apps from the ipod to itunes, and low and behold, the missing apps transferred to itunes. They will not sync back to the ipod, unfortunately. I can delete the app from itunes, but after syncing, the ipod still thinks it exists and I'm unable to download it again.
This issue only affects a few apps, specifically netflix, goodreads, and redbox, to name a few.
Any ideas about how to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

- Have you uses the SpotLight search on the iPod to look for the apps? Maybe they are there but you can't find them (e.g., hidden in an app folder or, if you have all eleven app screen filled they are not visible).
- Could you have restrictions set on the iPod that is "hiding" them and preventing their use? Setting>General>Restrictions.

IPad Air apps won't populate in iTunes

I have a 32gb iPad Air. I'm trying to sync it to my MacBook Pro (late 2013, OS X Yosemite 10.10.2) - mainly because I want to rearrange my apps and app folders and it's easier to to in iTunes. The apps pane on the right side won't populate. The wheel just spins - going on ten minutes now. I have 156 apps (15 gb). Everything else syncs just fine. Any suggestions on how to get them to load up in iTunes? Thanks.

I would eject your iPad from iTunes. Click on the eject icon and wait until your iPad is gone from iTunes. Then quit iTunes and restart your computer. Also reset your iPad Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
Then start iTunes on the computer again and connect your iPad with the cable and try again.

Apps won't sync with iTunes 12.1.2

(iMac with OS X 10.10.3, iTunes 12.1.2.27; iPhone with iOS 8.3)
After upgrading to OS X 10.10.3, all the apps in my iTunes library were gone (music was still there). I transferred the apps on my iPhone back to the library, and downloaded the rest of the previously purchased apps from the App Store.
I then updated the apps in the library. In the iTunes App panel for the phone, those apps are now marked "Update". But when I sync the iPhone, the updated apps do not transfer to the phone.
Rebooted both computer and phone, no effect. Any ideas?

10.4.8 - many apps won't launch, JVTecoClose?

Since updating to 10.4.8 with both Software Update and then the combo updater and fixing permissions, many apps won't launch, including iTunes, iPhoto, and Snood. Console records the same problem for all of them:
Error l/cating symbol - dlsym(0x213a90, JVTecoClose): symbol not found
Error l/cating symbol - dlsym(0xc118d0, JVTecoClose): symbol not found
Error l/cating symbol - dlsym(0x10f600, JVTecoClose): symbol not found
I'm thinking JVTecoClose belongs to some corrupted Framework. Is anyone familiar with it?

Ok here is the update . Since we couldn't get it to install 100% from the dvd's , we tried to run the hardware test, suspecting maybe it was the ram that was shipped with the machine, or quite possibly a hard drive failure . MBP was rebooted with disc 1 in the drive holding down the option key and brought us to the dual boot screen (Boot camp or Parallels or any flavor of windows OS was NOT on the machine). OSX boot was selected and we were greeted by the setup screen again . This time however, the option to customize was visible . SO the machine was set up with no iLife or trial packages selected . OSX went right on the drive and booted up into 10.4.6. So now the machine is up and running , minus the iLife suite and Iwork , quicken , and MS office trial packages . It was hard enough that the machine was 200 miles away and this was being done on the telephone , but i'm still trying to understand what happened. Even with all the information posted after the fact of the update on the forums , intructions followed to the T for combo update , we still had the install failure. The last known working OS state prior to this update was the 10.4.7 , which was applied without a hitch when it released . We're hoping that something is actually wrong with DVD2 , although its unlikely since it was shipped with the system 8 weeks ago . Would love to hear some hindsight ideas about what is going on here . As i stated in a previous post , 2 12" PB's were updated without any problems at all and are still running perfectly . NO network issues , no kernel panics , or any other issues . I've recommended the computer be brought into a genius for a looking at . We will see what happens.

Certain music pieces and apps won't download from my iPod to iTunes on my MacBook

I want to put what is on my iPod on my new MacBook, but certain pieces and apps won't download because my computer isn't authorized (so it will delete it from my iPod if I sync), but when it asks me to authorize it it uses an old Apple ID that doesn't exist anymore and to which I do not have access. Any ideas how to fix this? I just want to be able to sync my iPod with this computer without worrying about losing anything.

My IPod apps won't open. So I looked it up, and it said to sync the apps to itunes, i tried this, but when i try to sync, the apps won't show up on Itunes. It keeps saying "0 apps". What do i do?

Ever since yesterday, my Ipod apps won't open properly. I googled it, and couldn't find anything accurate. So i deleted all of the apps, and re-downloaded them. Now they're doing it again. When i tap on it, it looks like it wants to open, but then it goes back to the main menu. I googled it again, and got an answer saying to go to Itunes, uncheck the "sync apps" box, and sync. Then after that, recheck the box, and sync again. Many people said this worked, but it didn't for me. Also whenI go to sync my apps, they don't show up in Itunes. How do I get them to show up in Itunes?

I had the same issue. After searching around online I found out that you can try downloading another app (it can be any app) onto your ipod. After it finishes downloading see if your other apps open. You don't even have to keep the new app. Just see if your other ones work and you can delete the new one. That should work. If not, try to hard reset it. IPhone apps won't update, iTunes Store won't open

I can't figure out why my apps won't update on my iPhone. I have rebooted, deleted the apps that wouldn't update and froze (waiting) and rebooted after that. I may not have the greatest wifi connection ... I am out of town and dependent on hotel/convention center wifi. Went to App Store to reload the deleted apps (some), but same thing. I saw a response regarding iTunes, went there...took forever for iTunes to open, it kept stating I couldn't access iTunes Store, and after hitting "okay" probably 4 times to confirm that iTunes wouldn't open...it did. So I thought that was the problem and returned back to App Store and tried to reload just one app. Well it's been an hour and a half or more, can't reload it. It creeps along and I thought the app was loaded, but no. I can reboot only, not reset because I am no in home like I said. This is more than "fairly frustrating". What the heck can I do?

Do a hard reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and home button together until apple logo appears.
