Appstore displays updates for 2 applications I have never heard of. How can I get rid of them ?

In AppStore (Lion and now Mountain Lion) I see two applications that I have never heard of. When I try to push the update button, I'm prompted to enter the password for two accounts I have never heard of. I tried re-indexing all the disk space available with locate.updatedb and tried to find any reference about any of those two apps without luck.
Please, can anyone tell me what can I do so I don't see them as "requiring update". Or see them at all for that matter ?

This type of behaviour can be caused by malware. Try running several malware scanners. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
          Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.

After my last download I now have video adds that show up in the broswer from time to time. How can I get rid of them.

on my last down load of firefox, I not have two issues that occur, One every once and awhile I get a video ad that shows up in the lower left corn of the browser. There are 13GB "other" data that I cannot account for that simply did not exist before the update. Where is it coming from and how can I get rid of it?

After the update, 13GB of "other" data mysteriously shows up on my phone when it tries to sync; It's literally more than half the available space on my phone. I've deleted SEVERAL apps (including the apps it tried to sync from my iPad), I've removed most of my music and videos.
I can account for the rest of the data on the phone EXCEPT for the 13GB of "other".
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Depending where the photos in question are located, the following steps should prove valuable:
To delete synced photos and videos from your device
In iTunes, click the Device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper-right corner first.)
Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Note: To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
Click Apply.
To delete Camera Roll photos and videos from your device
There are two methods to delete items from the Camera Roll:
Import the Camera Roll to your computer and choose to delete items after import.
Delete photos and videos from your device manually:
Open the Photos application and open the Camera Roll.
Tap the Action button.
Tap each photo to select it.
Tap the Delete button.
Note: For photos and videos you want to save, import them to your computer before deleting them from the Camera Roll.

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

That doesn't mean that you have updates.
Not sure how that app works, - normally means you have a notification for that app - what happen when you go into the app?
If you had update it would be a red number for the app store icon
