AppStore updates on iPad

I've seen different posts about not being able to update apps on iPads, some with a response saying the server is down. I'm having the same issue so my real question is if the server was down why is it that I'm able to update apps on both of my iPhones? I would think if it was an AppStore server problem then I wouldn't be able to update my iPhone apps either.

Go into Settings > General > International > Language and choose British English, then hit the Done button. The screen will go black with a comment about Language Settings. Be Patient, especially if you have a lot of apps. Let it run it's course and Then open the App Store again. Voila! Upgrade list is back. And it stuck when i changed back to plain English. He doesn't know why. I don't either. But I am now a happy camper. Worked on my 3rd gen iPad and iPad Mini.

It may just be a glitch. Try going into the app store signing out, then sign back in and see if it clears up.

Change home country
1. App Store>Featured>Apple ID (at bottom of page)
2. Tap on Apple ID>View Apple ID
4. Enter your password
5. Country/Region>Change Country or Region

Try this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

- hard reset (hold power button and home button at same time until it resets with an apple on it)
- reset all settings (settings, general, reset)
- back up and restore (using an itunes on ur pc, make sure the itunes is updated)
try those in order. they will fix ur issue

Appstore Updates not working?

i have an ipad mini. for few days appstore updates are not working. its indicating as 4 updates available but when i open appstore and then updates section the screen is blank.. several time i close and restart,reboot and reset nothing worked any sollution?

Probably a problem with the update server.

Ok! so i tried updating my ipad 2 software to I.O.S 6.1 and it failed then continued to shut down and put the plug into itunes logo on my screen! I then i have been trying to update and restore my Ipad 2, then it says corrupt file and stops any advice?

This is ridiculous!!!!! Usually 'authentication required' means that you need to submit a username (or e-mail address) and password to the e-mail server, when sending a message. This logic is not different between Outlook and Thunderbird, and even with the latest and previous version of Thunderbird.
Of course you can try the previous version again to see if it solves the problem, although you'll be less secure because you would be missing the latest fixes.
If you'd be willing to get back to Thunderbird, say if your frustration level with your new app would increase too much, please see our article [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cannot-send-messages cannot send messages] for further help.
In all other cases I'd appreciate it if you could mark this as answer so we know you don't need further help.

Hello! I updated my Ipad now I can not print USPS labels from Paypal. I used my boss' Ipad not updated and worked fine. I am dependent on my Ipad to print these labels for me. I can print anything else I want, like email or packing slips. Any thoughts? I would go back to the previous version if anyone knows how to do that.

Specific to iPad are the following:
Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.
