AppWorld Error ID 30220

Hi,
This morning when I checked the Playbook, as usual I checked in AppWorld, what is new, and it showed me that Magellan Compass as been upgraded, so I tried to upgrade mine, and it ifrst told me that the price as change, then it ask me for my login into AppWorld, which I entered, and then it got me an error the one in the title of this message
I checked on the website, what I found was to erase the application, which I did and then to type RST in the AppWorld, again I did it, I even did the POWER + - reset of the Playbook, and I still get the same error everytime that I try to re-install the app
Using the Playbook and the Z10 and the Z30 and loving them

I believe the error has to do with the increase the price considering there was a charge for ver 2 now 2.1. It appears that the author is increasing the capabilities of the software.

    Does anyone know what AppWorld error code ID 30220 means?
    I uploaded several new releases (OS7) to App World and when I tried to download one for a test, I get the above code.
    The app in question ran on in the 9850 simulator in the latest Eclipse/OS7 environment and on an actual 9850 device after download via the Desktop Manager.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Please try clearing the cache in your BlackBerry App World™ storefront application and then reinsert the battery in your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8350i smartphone and relaunch App World.

  • Playbook Appworld Error 1000

    Appworld ERROR 1000, can't buy any apps. now with pay pall not with visa. Yes i did all the authorizations in pay pall but its just not working. ANY TIPS?

  • AppWorld - Error Id: 3300

    When I attempt to download the Calorie Tracker by Livestrong app, I continually receive an error ->
    "There were problems competing this purchase.  Please try again or visit www.blackberry.com/appworld/support for more information. (Error Id: 3300)."
    Here is some additional information.  1) I have downloaded this application on a previous blackberry and I am now trying to purchase/add to my new Curve 9300 3G.  I am not sure if this may be causing the error but I am happy to pay the $2.99 again, I just want to download it. 2) I contacted the livestrong support and they said this is an app world issue and contact support for BB. 3) I have successfully purchased and downloaded other apps.
    Any help is appreciated.

  • Payment trouble on appworld error id 10000

    The appworld is not validating my credit card and I am sure there is nothing wrong with it. I have been using it IPAD for 1 year now. I can not get the payments through paypal as well. I have no trouble with moneybrookers. I need a solution as I can only use the free Apps for now.
    If you have the same problem, please reply to the post so that Blackberry and the developers can estimate the amount of revenue loss.

    I have been in a long-running battle with customer support regardfing error 13000.To make a long story short, signing into to App World and seting up my payment options using my PC's browser seemed to work for me - then waiting an hour. They seem to be aware of the problem now but they really need to fix App World on the PlayBook so that can check our payment status directly form the device. Here is a snippet of my last communicqtion from customer support.

    The KB wording reflects exactly what happend to me after my bbid was
    re-created and I had set my payment options via my desk-top computer's
    browser.
    However, I encountered the initial problem using a bbid that I had set up
    some time ago and (apperently) the payment options had not been set up
    properly at the time it was created. In this case, advising the customer to
    wait an hour would not solve the problem. It would improve the palybook app
    world experience greatly if the cryptic 13000 message could be modified to
    invite the customer to check her payment options via her pc in the case that
    there was not a recent change AND to wait an hour for any changes to
    propagate. Even better would be if a playbook dialog would automatically
    open to allow the customer to check payment options directly on the device
    and also advising him to wait a while before reattempting the purchase.

  • Appworld Error 10000 HELP!!!!!!

    Hello , I just tried to download an application from appworld cost $4.99 , I tried 4 times and 4 times i received this error code error 10000 There is a problem with your credit card authorization. Please try again or visit blackberry.com/appworld/support for more information. (Error ID: 10000)" My main issue is that I was charged the 4 times and the bank send me that my credit card has been used for a purchase the location is "DRI*app World" and it did not download the application , is there anyone I can speak to have a refund ? or atleast have the app downloaded

    I purchased Camcard application on blackberry AW. At the first time, it shown that ( error 10.000) and I tried to purchased one more times. It shown that ( error 14.000) . After that I realised that that my card was charged. Could you please let me know what happened ?

    Here is a KB that describes the 10000 error code...I can't find one for the 14000 code you received:
    KB24454 "There is a problem with your credit card authorization. Please try again or visit blackberry.com/appworld/support for more information. (Error ID: 10000)" appears when an attempt is made to purchase an application in BlackBerry App World
    From this user-to-user community, there is no way for anyone to look at the "back end" and truly see "what happened". The only way that can happen is for you to request formal support from your carrier and, if they need to, receive escalation into RIM.

  • Z10 Appworld error

    Hi im not sure if any one else is experiencing the same problem but the appworld on my Z10 was working fine now since the 04-03-2013 im receiving this error messa "There is an issue with Blackberry world Blackberry world must now close" i downloaded apps earlier in the day with out any issues

    I have spoken to the MTN ZA BlackBerry Helpdesk people and according to them its everybody that has the problem they have logged calls with Blackberry to have the issue sorted 

  • BB Appworld error

    Hi,
    I upgraded my app world application. I had to reboot once done, which i did but since, whenever i try to access the app, the screen just freezes to the point where i have to switch the phone off and on again.
    I get the following error message when the phone comes back on: "uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_appworld (1007) is not responding; process terminated".
    Please assist.

  • App Installation Problem: Error id: 30220

    Help!!

    Open Blackberry App World ( 3.0 for sure ) on your mobile, go to My World, then hold ALT and press R S T ( one by one ) . Your App World will freeze for a few seconds, and it will automatically exit. Open back you App World, and try re-install the apps that you want to install.
    Tested and working on 3 mobiles.

    Hey, I recently had my phone 'repaired' but they just gave me a new phone. I cannot get on the app world anymore. I went to 'The Geek Squad' In the Carphone Warehouse but they weren't very helpful and just said to go on a website (They didn't know which) and do some things that I can't remember.     If the instructions in the knowledgebase did not help at all and your timezone and time are correct. I would try removing the battery while the device is ON.
    If that still does not work and your stuck with the AppWorld error you can go into your Advanced Options. Click Host Routing Table. Press the menu key and click Register Now.
    If after all this you are still stuck you can try performing a full backup / restore through BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

  • Error Message when trying to open AppWorld

    I downloaded AppWorld to my phone and when I tried to open it I got:
    Error starting net_rim_bb_appwprld: Module 'net_rim_bb_appwprld-6' not found

    Hello JulieAA and welcome to the support forums
          I haven't come across this error before. Can you try to uninstall App World (under Options | Advanced Options | Applications), reset the device by removing the battery for 30 seconds, then reinstalling again?

  • Appworld rejects payments error 10000

    Appworld 2.0 is happy to let me download free apps but rejects any attempt to buy paid for ones.  I get error 10000 and a comment that there is a problem with my credit card authorisation.  This happens with Paypal or with a credit card.  There is nothing wrong with either account.  In fact Appworld has done a test charge of £0.01 to verify my credit card.
    I have done a factory reset, re-loaded Appworld, changed Paypal accounts etc etc but still the same fault persists. 
    Paypal says it is nothing to do with them.  O2 in the UK will not accept that it is an issue for them.  I have spent an hour on the phone and online with Blackberry support and they uploaded a log file from my Blackberry.  I don't know what they will do with this.  They seem to be aware that there is an issue but ......
    Any ideas?
