Aps missing on iPhone 6

i accidentally deleted some aps like the maps that came with phone and imdb and a few others. When I conduct a search I can get them but how do I get them back on my screen?

Well, you cannot delete the native iOS Apple maps app. What troubleshooting have you done? First step is to power the phone off/on. If that doesn't do it, then a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Neither will affect your data. Check also when you do that search, if the app is in a folder, then it will show the folder name to the right of the app in the search area. If that doesn't do it, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. That should bring it back. This will also reset all of your folders.

and now you can recuperate your deleted pictures from a folder or after 30 days they will be deleted.

APs missing from WLC

My customer who has one WLC4402,36 AP1130.Some of APs miss from WLC sometimes but I can ping those APs at this time.I can not find any messages from WLC(version 4.2.61).Any suggestions?

That's all well and good if the controller can be pinged. What is usually the case here is that there is no route to the management interface of the controller or the ap manager interface as well. Check to see if there are IP address conflicts with those two interfaces. Next, make sure that you have not exceeded the total number of APs per physical interface. If you have add a LAG group or a second ap management interface. Verify security certificates are on the APs and that the date and time on the controller is accurate. Lastly, make sure you have no PoE issues or CDP. You're beating a dea horse here guys.

Just use Spotlight to locate it. By just touching the middle of home-display and pull down.
Safari can not be deleted or hidden, just be moved into other folders/displays.
After locating it just keep holding the finger on it until it moves and pull it to the place you want to have it.

For locating a lost iPhone, you must have setup Find My Phone on the iPhone before it was lost. Then it must have been registered in iCloud's Find My Phone. If you did that, login to iCloud, click on Find My Phone and see if your iPhone shows up.
If it is turned off, out of power, not connected to the internet, or has been found and wiped clean it will not show up and cannot be traced.
Apple does not get involved in trying to locate or find lost or stolen property.

ITunes Radio Purchase Missing from iPhone w/Match Enabled

I recently purchased Usher's 'Scream' while listening to iTunes Radio on my iPhone 5. Purchase went through successfully, but when I try to download it locally from the iTunes store app on my iPhone the download appears to complete but it never appears in my Music app.
I have iTunes Match enabled and the cloud version of the song also is missing from my music list (I have the display all songs setting enabled). I checked my iMac in iTunes and the song appears (cloud version) and a local copy downloaded just fine.
Seem to be out of luck on my phone - any ideas?

Are you able to find the song when you open the Music app, select Songs and search for it?

Address book sync problem: Phone #s & emails missing fr. iPhone

When I sync, I overwrite the iPhone address book and calendar with the one on my computer. I choose 'Replace information on this iPhone.'
Suddenly, none of the emails or phone numbers are showing up in the address book records on the iPhone. All the records are there, they're just missing the phone #s and emails. The phone numbers and emails are on the computer version of Address book, and other changes in the name and notes fields for each record are showing up.
Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

I'm not sure what you mean. When I look in the Address Book, I see the email addresses for each of my contacts, but the problem is they aren't syncing to my iPhone. Do you know how I can resolve this???

Camera to video camera switch missing on iphone 5/ios6

i have had my iphone 5 since yesterday, and noticed today, that the switch to change from camera to video camera is missing?? I have force quit / closed the application and re-opened the camera... but still the switch is missing?

right. figured it out... weird one... so I have just been on a 3 hour conference call... and as soon as i got off the call.. and then went to camera... the switch appeared?... to test, it - i then called a friend... and went to camera... no switch. it seems that whilst on a call... you cant record video... only take photos through the camera app

Ios 6 missed photos iphone 4

After to install ios 6 on my iphone 4, I have missed my photos and videos in the albums.
The system says that there aren´t any photo in the album, but in the memory bar on intunes appears a yellow bar where I suppose that are the photos and videos.
Help me, please. I have missed all our holidays

Missing songs iphone downloaded and sync to back up.

I purchase my music from iTunes directly on the iPhone. Periodically I will sync to my HP laptop (running Vista). Recently I purchased several albums and some individual songs, as well as a few apps.
A couple of days ago I tried to sync to my laptop (as I have done many times before). I plugged in the iPhone and it began the sync. Suddenly it stopped telling me the sync was complete.
I looked and found that at least 2 albums were missing (two that I had just purchased) and several individual songs.
The purpose of this most recent sync was to ensure I had a back up of the songs. Performing the sync is what wiped out the songs.
Please understand that I am not purchasing music with the computer and syncing to the phone. I am purchasing on the phone and syncing with the computer for backup.
After reading Apple's policy on their support pages they indicate I will have to purchase these again. This is ridiculous. It is the apple software and/or the iPhone that screwed up, not me and I don't appreciate having to purchase them again.
Is there another way to get this music back. As I said, this music was purchased within the past two weeks, if not the past week. If I can't get my music back I will cease my iPhone subscription, I will stop purchasing music from the iPhone, and I will cease my plans to purchase an iPad. No more Apple products if they insist I can't get my music back for free.
I'm not being extreme. Just reading the Apple web pages caused my blood pressure to raise. I hesitate going forward even if I do get my music back due to how arrogant their policy is.
I know I'm not the only one that has had this problem, so I hope someone else can clarify what I need to do to resolve this.

It is possible that the "no replacement" policy may be tied to the terms of the licenses under which Apple is allowed to sell music through its store, but I don't have any specific info on that.

HT1386 Contacts File Missing from IPHONE

I had to get a new device (iphone) and when I restored my info to the new device, everything transferred except my contacts - icon and all are missing.

Contacts is a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, check utilities. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

Album Art Missing in iPhone 16Gb 3G

When i transfer albums to my iPhone only some of the albums display album art. Every album in my iTunes library has album art, most of it I have manually attached to each album.
when i use the iTunes interface to look at the music on my iPhone it displays the album art in the "Selected Item" section in the bottom left corner. i have checked multiple albums, and every song in those albums has the artwork. so it displays the art in my iTunes library, it displays the art when i view the music on my iPhone in the iTunes interface, but it does not display the art when i scroll through the music using the iPhone.
am i totally missing something here?

This has been issue for long time even for iPods before iPhone.
The cause is this.
There are multiple ways of manually applying artwork to a song in iTunes. Only 1 is the best way to make sure artwork goes with the file.
The three ways are:
1. Drag a file/image to the bottom window where it displays artwork when a song is selected.
2. Using the "Find Album Artwork" option in the right click menu for a song.
3. Using "Get Info" option to bring up the Tags of the song and pasting a image into the artwork tab.
The 3rd is the best and only option you should use.
Here is why.
If you use the little artwork window and put images in there, or if you tell iTunes to find artwork, what it does is uses the image supplied or the one it finds and then saves that image to a hidden file on your computer. Then iTunes notes/saves a pointer to that file matched to song. So "iTunes" when playing or looking at the file will say, oh there is a pointer to a file, let me go find that file and display the image. All good and dandy for iTunes.
However when you move that file (manually to another machine or sync to a device) it just moves the media file. The hidden image doesn't go with it as iTunes just uses it.
So the 3rd option of using "Get Info" to get into the tag editor does it different.
In the tag editor you are literally editing data contained in the media file itself. Thus if on the Artwork tab in the tag editor if you paste an image in there, when saved it will embed the image into the media file itself. Thus if you move the file to another computer or sync, that file contains the artwork thus will always be available to it no matter where it is moved.
So in summary, ONLY ever add artwork by using the ArtWork tab in the tag editor (Get Info option).
Nice thing is too when you do, since it literally changes the file (can see date change property update...and filesize) then when you sync it will notice a file change and update the song on the device. If you use the other options, no change is ever done to the physical file thus you will notice the file not change it's change date or size, thus on syncing after assigning artwork those other two ways, it will not retransfer the file because to the iPhone/iPod, it has not changed so there is no need.
