AQ adapter not picking up message...

I have a schema called AQAPP with one table based queue named: out_queue. Using a PL/SQL procedure, enqueued one message with data in XML format. I see the information in the table after executing the stored procedure.
In iStudio created a business object based on the DTD file. Created one application called AQApp that publishes a createCustomer event. In the deploy screen, entered the name of the queue: out_queue.
Started the AQ adapter. The messages displayed show that there are zero messages in the queue, when I can see in OEM that there is 1 message in READY state. Can someone tell me if I'm missing something?
Here's the output from the adapter. As you can see, the correct queue name is displayed.
This schema is in a 9.2.0.4.0 database on a W2K platform. I also applied the Patch 9 to this database.

Hi,
1) Can you activate the JMS adapter again ( edit save and activate it )
2) Check whether the right Queue is addressed.

  • JMS sender adapter is not picking up message from MQ

    Hi Experts,
    I have configured the JMS sender adapter for getting message from Websphere MQ. In RWB the adapter and the communicaiton channel all looking good. The trace file tells me the connection to the queue has been established.
    But the problem is this JMS sender adapter is not picking up message from the Queue defined on the MQ site.
    Any Idea what could be wrong?
    Thanks!

  • Net.Msmq Binding Not Picking Up Messages in Queue as soon as the application pool gets recycled

    Hi,
    We are trying to implement a wcf service that exposes a net.msmq endpoint.  We are running windows server 2008 R2/IIS 7.5 running on a DOMAIN mode.
    1. Our service is called service.svc and it is deployed under an application called Test in the default website (application pool running under network service)
    2. The url to reach the service webpage is http://machinename/Test/service.svc.
    3. We created a private queue called Test/service.svc and we configured permissions for network service to full control.
    Now, when the application pool is "alive" the service picks up the messages correctly, but as soon as the application pool gets recycled (because of timeout or any other reason), the service stops picking up the messages, that just sit in the queue until the service starts again by browsing to the service webpage (http://machinename/Test/service.svc)
    I know this is a popular question, but I already tried several solutions with no luck (for example, we triedhttp://keithelder.net/blog/archive/2009/06/03/fix-for-wcf-netmsmqbinding-not-picking-up-messages-in-queue.aspx,http://www.codewrecks.com/blog/index.php/2009/03/17/hosting-a-wcf-service-based-on-msmq-in-iis7/,http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wcf/thread/a1df55c4-e642-442a-9057-f0aec278d10c/ and other ones)
    Any Help?

    Hi Steven,
    I am Alessandro's colleague, I am working with him on these net.msmq issues.
    Our configuration includes a transactional queue called Test/Service.svc (unauthenticated,
    we shut down all security for the moment...does it matter?) and these attributes on the service:
    [ServiceContract]
    public interface IService
    [OperationContract(IsOneWay=true)]
    void ProcessMyMessage(MyClass parameter);
    [ServiceBehavior(InstanceContextMode = InstanceContextMode.PerCall, TransactionIsolationLevel = IsolationLevel.Serializable, TransactionTimeout = "00:03:00")]
    public class Service: IService
    [OperationBehavior(TransactionScopeRequired = true, TransactionAutoComplete = true)]
    public void ProcessMyMessage(MyClass parameter)
    //Do some stuff here
    The service is hosted on IIS 7.5 under an application called Test (so that the full http address of the service is http://machine/Test/Service.svc).
    In the configuration (for both client and service) we specified None for the security mode, "true" value in durable and exactlyOnce
    The Net.msmq Listener Adapter windows service is running fine under the Network Service account (the same as our application pool)
    Is there something we are missing?
    Also, can you explain how a transaction not configured properly can create this behaviour? In my understanding the process of delivering a message happens in 3 steps (I remember a nice picture of this the Juval Lowy book):
    1) Transaction 1: client delivers message to local instance of msmq. The transaction rolls back if the message does not get delivered.
    2) Transaction 2: the local instance of msmq delivers the message to the remote (service) instance of msmq. The transaction rolls back if the message does not get delivered.
    3) Transaction 3: wcf activates my service which picks up the message and process it. The transaction rolls back if the service fails to pick up the message or does not complete the transaction (for example, because of an unhandled exception).
    The message gets delivered to the service machine successfully, so I am assuming that steps 1 and 2 are executed correctly. If my service was not configured to handle transaction properly, wcf should still activate it and do something with it. Or at least,
    if it doesn't get activated at all, this should be the case even when the application pool is well alive and awake, because it should be a configuration problem. Instead, the service works great if the appPool is alive and it never gets activated when the
    appPool is sleeping (absolute nothing in the .svclog trace file generated by the service). Am I saying something wrong?

  • Queue sometimes not picking the message

    Hi,
    In my project from JCD I am calling jar methods when needed when I call methods with parameters it will create xml and keep in queue. And the queue has to process the message. Every thing is working fine but some times queue suddenly stops pickinh the message from queue. When I undeploy the preoject and deploy it again then its picking again.
    Please let me why queue not picking message some times.

    Hi,
    I am assuming you are dealing with standard SeeBeyond queues here (as opposed to MQ). And, in your case, you are saying a JCD or an activity is not picking up messages from a queue? Can you see these messages on the JMS server? What version of JavaCAPS are you using? (this does not matter much, though). What is the volume of the messages?

  • Sender File adapter not picking the file ABCD.PRN extension file

    Hi
    Am doing File to Abap Proxy scenario. My source will be in text format of fixed length of fileds 7.
    My souce file will be generated by a third party machine with the extension EEE150809.PRN. In my scenario my file adapter should pick the file and update the same in ECC via a Proxy.
    I have configured the Sender File adapter with Message Protocol -  Content Conversion but file adapter is not picking the file. I have checked the Communication channel and status is fine. But the same Communication Channel works for .XML file.
    What are the parameters that I have to consider with the file extension .PRN using File adapter?
    Thanks.
    S.

    Hi Swarna,
    You dont need to worry about the extension when picking the file. You can try using EEE* so that is picks all the files starting with EEE. If you have the fixed name then you can try giving EEE150809.*. Also EEE150809.PRN should not have any issue. Try to see in sender commu ication cahnnel for anyerrors. Probably there might be some network issues or authorisation issues. If you are reading with NFS then ask them to give necessary permissions. If you are reading through FTP check the user id and pwd you are using.

    Hi,
    If you are using a Stand-alone J2SE Adapter Engine, you can create a SOAP adapter to pick a SOAP message from a file system and send it to the Integration Server. This is available with the XI3.0.
    The configuration will look like this.
    Bubble adapter java class
    classname=com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.ModuleBubble
    This adapter instantiates a bubble bag for supporting
    a soap file upload and sender. A bubble bag is a collection of Bubble
    instances that form some processing chain of message objects.
    Below parameter Bubble.Helper specifies the helper class that implements
    the ModuleBubbleHelper interface. This class is used to instantiate
    a bubble bag for this adapter.
    Sets the bubble module helper that can instantiate your bubble bag
    Bubble.Helper=com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.ModuleBubbleHelperSOAPFileSenderImpl
    #$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
    Below this line are the parameters specific to the ModuleBubbleHelperSOAPFileSenderImpl
    #$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
    This module loads files from the local file system, consruct SOAP messages
    (or SOAP with Attachments messages), and send them to the specified Web Service target URL.
    Upon successful completion, response messages are stored in the file system.
    Files stored can represent a plain payload, a SOAP envelope, or a SOAP with Attachments.
    Plain payload files and SOAP envelope files may be packaged in MIME using some MIME headers.
    SOAP with Attachments files must be packaged in MIME.
    Specifies the type of the file. The available values are:
    plain for plain; soap for soap envelope; swa for soap with attachments
    SFSender.ContentMode=soap
    Specifies the packaging
    true for MIME packaged file; false for bare content
    SFSender.MIMEPackaged=true
    log everything (4-digit binary, where the bits indicate which
    information is logged: req message, req context, resp request, resp context)
    SFSender.Log=1111
    The target URL to which messages are sent.
    SFSender.TargetURL=http://p28848:4040/mysoaphandler
    The upload directory on the local file system
    This directory has six sub directories with names 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. (they will be created)
    The meaning of each sub directories are:
    0 = inbox where you place messages to be sent
    1 = trash box
    2 = work box
    3 = successfully completed (original) messages go in
    4 = response messages come in (if any)
    5 = undelivered (original) messages go in
    6 = error messages come in (if any)
    In these directories, the file names are used as key and there can be only one file with
    the same name except in the trash box. So, when you place in the inbox a file with
    the name identical to one of the files stored in another directory, it will not processed.
    SFSender.Directory=/tmp/sfsender
    The polling interval in milliseconds (default is 5000)
    #SFSender.PollingInterval=5000
    The retry delay after each failure in milliseconds (default is 5000)
    #SFSender.RetryDelay=5000
    The maximal retry count upon failures (default is 3)
    After the maximal retry count is reached, the message is moved as undelivered.
    #SFSender.RetryCount=3
    The number of dispatchers to send requests (default is 3)
    SFSender.DispatcherCount=1

    Hope this helps.

  • File Adapter Not picking the files

    Hi All,
    We have a process wherein the file adapter picks up the file from a particular location and it processed thereafter. We get the files once every month. We noticed that if the files that are being dazzled are of the same, i.e if the same nomenclature is there for the file that was dazzled the previous month, the adapter does not pick up the file. Only after renaming the file, it picks the file and processed them.
    Any idea why the files that are dazzled with the same name are not being picked up.
    Thanks in Advance...!!

    Hi,
    While configuring file adapter to pick up the files cross verify with file name putting in the directory location against the
    "Includes files with name pattern" "Excludes file with name pattern" file name..
    let say if u kept .*txt if picks the files txt with any name and one more think once after picking up the file from particular location are u enabling (delete file once read) option in configuration(It all depends on ur req)..
    cross check the schema element of the file pattern.

  • File Adapter not picking the file

    Hi Experts,
      I am trying to create a Legacy-XI-R/3 scenario. I am using a file adapter as the sender communication channel and a ABAP proxy at the receiver end. I have given the path of my input file in the legacy system, but the file is not picked up by the adapter. Can any one tell me where I might have gone wrong?

    Check the Host name, where the File is kept and try to use the directory path as

  • JCA Polling Adapter not picking up records

    Hello All
    I have been trying to configure a JCA polling adapter to pick up records from the Database, the first time I configured it, it read a whole bunch of records. Now I have configured the following in the database and am getting no records being polling.
    1. Poll for new or changed records
    2. Update a field in the table F40g02 for logical delete
    3. Read value = READ, UNREAD value = UNREAD, Reserved value = RESERVED
    4.Polling interval 5 seconds, Database XROWS per xml document 1, Database Rows per Transaction 10
    I ran the SQL specified in the adapter and I get a record. Does anyone have any idea.
    I have seen this warning in the EM
    Database Adapter <oracle.tip.adapter.db.inbound.IPAddrPollingService getUniqueMarkReservedValue> The markReservedValue of distributed polling might not be a unique value.  To make it so, you can add the last x digits (default = 2) of the host IP address using this format for the MarkReservedValue: [original_val]${IP[-x]}

    Hello
    The problem I am facing is I can't get the records that are processed (already READ) to not poll again despite the value being changed to the READ value configured, if I set the READ value in the configuration it will poll every record all the time despite the fact it is equal to the READ value.  Then if I set the READ value and any other value no records will poll.
    Consider 4 records in the DB (currently in test I have 431 but I have used distributed locking and ReturnSingleResultSet to limit it)
    ID = 1, STATUS = PROCESSED
    ID = 2, STATUS = UNPROCESSED
    ID = 3, STATUS = UNPROCESSED
    ID = 4, STATUS = OTHER
    Config 1: If READ = PROCESSED records 1,2,3,4 will poll
    Config 2: If READ = PROCESSED, UNREAD = UNPROCESSED no records will poll
    Config 3: If READ = PROCESSED, UNREAD = UNPROCESSED, RESERVED = OTHER no records will poll
    Config 4: If READ = PROCESSED and TOPLINK STATUS not equal string "PROCESSED" then records 1,2,3,4 will poll
    What I want is Record 2 and 3 to poll which I believe is config 3 should do. However I believe there have been some changes that relate to distributed polling for clusters in 11.1.1.3 onwards which means in jdeveloper (11.1.1.6) when I go to re-config the db adapter after setting the RESERVED value it disappears from the editor .
    JCA properties obviously with a MarkReservedValueand MarkUnreadValue column jumping in.depending on which config I am trying
          <property name="DescriptorName" value="dbPollBlockRecords.F40G02"/>
          <property name="QueryName" value="dbPollBlockRecordsSelect"/>
          <property name="MappingsMetaDataURL" value="dbPollBlockRecords-or-mappings.xml"/>
          <property name="PollingStrategy" value="LogicalDeletePollingStrategy"/>
          <property name="MarkReadColumn" value="STATUS"/>
          <property name="MarkReadValue" value="PROCESSED"/>
          <property name="PollingInterval" value="700"/>
          <property name="MaxRaiseSize" value="1"/>
          <property name="MaxTransactionSize" value="10"/>
          <property name="NumberOfThreads" value="1"/>
          <property name="ReturnSingleResultSet" value="true"/>   (This property has been manually configured, will unfortunately poll all records that match without it)

  • SAP MDM Adapter not picking up files in Ready folder on MDM

    Hello Experts,
    We are sending master data from MDM 7.1 system via PI 7.1 system to SAP ECC system. The Sydnication from MDM system is automatic and the files are being syndicated successfully from MDM system and getting dumped in the Ready folder of the port.
    But the Sender MDM PI adapter is not picking up the files from the folder.
    The communication channel status in Communication channel monitoring is green and 'data control' is Automatically.
    However the file is getting picked up if we stop and then start the channel but not automatically.
    Please Help!
    Thanks,
    Suraj

    Check if there are locks for the file channel in NWA. If yes, unlock that and your issue should be resolved.
    Login to NWA --> Operation Management --> Systems --> Start & Stop --> JAVA EE Services --> check for File Connector, Locking Adapter and XPI Adapter: File.

  • NFS Adapter not picking up file

    Hi Guru's,
    Scenario is File(NFS)  to File(FTP) without using repository part.
    The NFS directory name has been maintained correctly. File name is also correct. Channel is active. Checked in RWB also.
    All configuration settings are fine. But NFS adapter is not picking up the file and also not showing any error.
    Tried following thing but not working
    1) Manually deactivating and activating channel in Directory.
    2) Stop start channel in Communication channel monitoring.
    3) Put exact file name in Communication channel.
    4) Testing mode changed from Delete to Test and again test to delete.
    5) File type binary to text.

    Hello,
    Verify the below mentioned points:
    a. Is the file adapter locked? ....Visual Admin (till PI7.0) or NWA(for PI7.1 and above) . Entry comes as $XIAdapter*
    b. Check permission / authorization to read/ delete the file?
    c. Adapter Services are active

  • FTP-adapter not picking all files

    Hi,
    We have scenario, where FTP should pick a file and post it as a idoc to SAP. Now it happens that FTP pick's some files and leaves some out.
    The parameters are:
    File name = *
    Connection mode = Per file transfer
    Quality of service = Exactly once
    Poll interval (secs) = 3000
    If I look at the adapter monitoring the last polling interval was done yesterday morning. How's that possible if interval is 3000 seconds?

    Hi Tapio,
        We also faced the same problem but it was with NFS protocol. Can you pls check with the help of your System Administrator, after putting some more new files into the relevant folder and see what all are the privileges that is coming to each file and also the user group its saying for the files, especially the ones which are not picked.
    There is a chance that the one which is not picked can be of a different user group and your FTP user is belonging to different user group.
       We are in XI 3.0 SP15..
    Pls check the same.
    Cheers
    JK

  • MDB is not picking up messages in the Queue

    Hi ,
    I am trying to implement a MDB (Producer) , that acts as a Message Producer also . This MDB pickes up a message from a Queue and sends it to another Queue(Queue 2) after some processing. The MDB listening to the Queue 2 is not being able to pick this message.
    The Weblogic console shows that the message is pending.
    The transaction-type is Container and transaction-attribute is 'Required' for the Producer (MDB) ...
    I am creating a QueueSession as con.createQueueSession(true, Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE) . I also tried specifying queuesession.commit() ...
    even then the Message is not picked by the MDB listening on the other side...
    Please help me out

  • Sender File Adapter Not Picking Any File

    Dear Expert,
    I am newbie in PI. Just tried to create File Content Conversion Scenario. Details as follow :
    1. Source Directory ..\file\log\test_q.txt
    2. Target Directory  ..\file\log\xml\test_q.xml
    Transport Protocol : NFS
    Message Protocol : File Content Conversion
    Adapter Engine    : Integration Engine
    I have completed all the design and configuration in IR and ID. However, when I produce the log file in the directory, nothing happen.
    Hacing checked in the RWB as well, I could not find any clue. simply nothing happen.
    Would you please advise me on how to trigger the interface? As per my understanding, sender file adapter will be activated directly once the file is created.
    Thank you very much in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Y

    Hi Yonisiwa,
       Things you should check here are:
    1) If the sender file adapter is active or not.
    2) If the source directory is correctly spelt or not. (Check if you are using the correct slash \ or /)
    3) The file name/mask is correct or not.
    4) The polling interval is too long.
    Alternatively, you can check the message monitoring in RWB at the adapter level and go into the audit log if the message.
    There you can see the reason for the file not being picked up.
    Also check the Communication Channel status in the Component Monitoring link in RWB.
