Aqualogic Interaction & IIS - FATAL: ResourceManager i18n Strings Load
Hi, I'm having access issues in initial startup of AquaLogic Interaction on IIS. The error seems to indicate that the IIS user does not have access to the folder which contains the i18n resources. I've verified that this user does have this access and still get this error. Any ideas what else could be the problem? Thanks!
Diagnostic system initialization OK.

Recommendations follow:
ResourceManager i18n Strings Loading Error (.NET)
RECOMMENDATION: This indicates an installation error, folder access
rights issue, corrupt i18n XML files, or incorrect customer
implementation of additional language support. Since this is
.NET you should first check that the IIS anonymous user has full
access to the i18n settings folder. To isolate other causes of
this issue, try enabling debug mode in portalconfig.xml (set the
DebuggingMode setting to 1) and restarting your portal. This
enables the i18n diagnostic unit tests, which should then output
more detailed errors to ptspy.

Hi All,
I am using Virtual box to connect to Sharepoint 2013 VPC. Due to an unexpected sutdown of my machine the VPC got some issue. Now I restored it using my bak up file. But after this when I deploy my sharepoint 2013 farm solution Iam getting the following error.
Error occurred in deployment step 'Recycle IIS Application Pool': Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified..
Editing the web.config and adding dependentAssembly didnt worked for me.
What could be the issue? Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance...
Regards
Nimisha
[email protected]Hi,
Please try to do as follows:
1. Check your farm solution whether reference the Microsoft.SharePoint.dll. Or try to add the Microsoft.SharePoint.dll into the bin folder.
2. Execute the iisreset command.
3. Create a new farm solution and check whether the issue still occurs or not.

Baisc Aqualogic Interaction SSO mechanism
I have a basic question on how the aqualogic interaction SSO works. I see an Authentication SOurce SSO, but i dont understand which repository it connects to. How it generates the Login Token. Can i use the features of authentication service outside the portal by calling some API.
JetTang,
1. The administrator cannot access the process. It is strange, but the administrator cannot have access to your process project. you need to assign another user to access the project without admin right in the portal and in OBMP.
2. try to restart your OBMP service and Identity services, and the engine.
3. If you disable the sso, you can't just access workspace stand alone and see your process, it is not as simple to switch.
What version of ALUI and OBMP are you using?

Opensonic FATAL ERROR: couldn't load spritesheet
Hi All,
I'm trying to get the Opensonic game running for my son, it was built from AUR and when I try to run it I get "FATAL ERROR: couldn't load spritesheet "images/spring_pads.png". The website says:
- Installation instructions:
Copy & paste (overwrite if needed) all the folders/archives to your opensurge directory.
But I don't know where the directories are or where they should be copied to.
Can anyone help?
ThanksThanks very much for your reply. I found the image /usr/share/opensonic/images/spring_pads.png and I put it in /usr/share/opensonic but the error message remains. Again, the website says to: Copy & paste (overwrite if needed) all the folders/archives to your opensurge directory, but I don't see an opensurge directory. I'm pretty inexperienced at this so maybe someone can spot a simple oversight. Here is the output of pacman -Ql opensonic:

Aqualogic Interaction support for Z/Os
Hi,
I am new to this portal community and i'm doing some research on Aqualogic Interaction. Can anyone tell me if it supports Z/Os. I could not find any information on this. It does run on WAS which supports Z/Os, so can there be any integration ? Any ideas or support is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
DeepbluesHi,
Normally listener version is same as DB, but that have several exceptions.
Logon to DB server, with OS user who is owner of DB.
I expect that all required environment variables are already set, execute below statement.
lsnrctl status
if this throws error
lsnrctl status <listener_name>
this will give you status of listener, on the first line of output of the command, you will get version of Listener.
FYI...any DB can have listener with same or higher version than DB and you need to install full Oracle binary to get the listner of that version.

Interactive forms takes too long to load - sometimes crashes reader.
Hi Gurus,
I'm just wondering if anyone have this problem?
I just configured ADS and created a sample WD program to display an interactive form, the form is not complex, only 2 text fields and an image.
But when I deploy or run the program, the interactive form container hangs and take very long to process before displaying.
After I save the PDF file to a local drive, when I try to open it, it will take very long and sometimes crash my system.
Even when I click on "PDF Preview" to view the form in NWDS it take very long too.
At first I thought it could be due to my system and I open downloaded PDF file on other PCs, but the problem occurs too in those PCs.
Using Acrobat Reader 8.1.2, then downgraded to 8.1.1, still no avail.
Everytime I open the PDF or WD loads the PDF, when I check the Task Manager the process of AcroRdr32 will hog the system processes and use up the memory. I have no problems with other PDF files, only those generated by the WD application gives problems.
Someone hit the same problem? Any advise? Could it be the ACF or Adobe lifecycle issues?
Please help. Thanks for all answers.
Best Regards,
JansenHi Jansen,
If you are using Adobe Reader 8.1.* or above and activex controls in your form, you need to install the latest version of ACF and that will resolve the issue. And do remember to uninstall your old version of Adobe Reader first and then install Reader 8.1.* freshly and after installing it proceed with ACF installation. You have to follow the sequence.
For ACF installation you may read Note 766191 - Active Component Framework Installation.
ACF Installable:

Interactive form takes very long to load
Hi Gurus,
I have developed an interactive form with several Dropdowns and text fields. I am using WebDynPro ActiveX drop down and binded it to context which is of SimpleType and populated from backend. My form is taking very long to load and once I save it locally the also it takes too long to open.
Below is the config used:
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0
- Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7
- NWDS 7.0.14
- xACF ver 711_0
- J2EE server 2004s SP12
Previously I was using WDP Native Dropdowns and popuulated then without simple type, that time form was loading finely (in 10 sec).
Please help me out in resolving this issue.
Regards,
ArafatDear Arafat,
Have you resolved it?
I met the same problem with you.
If you had resolved, please help me.

How to make IIS plug-in do STICKY load balancing
There are two classes of scalable services: pure and sticky. A pure service
is one where any instance of the application can respond to client requests.
A sticky service is one where a client sends its requests to the same
instance; those requests are not redirected to other instances.
It seems to me that weblogic IIS proxy plug-in does not support the sticky
load balancing.
Could someone give me some information on how to make the proxy sticky?
Is there configuration parameters for this?
Thanks,
-LeiI set the cluster.
It seems to me that there is some problem with the Set-Cookie mechanism of
the plug-in.
Sometime it set the cookie in my browser, sometime it is not.
Even from the wlproxy.log, I could set something like
Fri Aug 03 17:56:12 2001 Hdrs to
client:[Set-Cookie]=[AribaNode=O2tII92qHlP2tpZjUV0m5ued1s6X028cUPu24QcGj1Q25
AE5VXOd!1782877802312707887!ltang.ariba.com!8001!7002; domain=ariba.com;
path=/]
But the cookie is not set in my browser, what might be wrong here?
Thanks,
-Lei

I do believe that this will not work since if clustering is not enabled, a
cookie will not be set on the browser that contains the primary and
secondary server.
You are specifying two different ports in your servers. You need to use
clustering in order to get this functionality with the plugin.Furthermore,
you will achieve fail-over.

Here is what I did for the examples under the bea sample directory.
I put the following in test1/WEB-INF/weblogic.xml
<session-descriptor>
<session-param>
<param-name> CookieDomain </param-name>
<param-value> *.ariba.com </param-value>
</session-param>
<session-param>
<param-name> CookieName </param-name>
<param-value> AribaNode </param-value>
</session-param>
<session-param>
<param-name> CookiePath </param-name>
<param-value> /test1 </param-value>
</session-param>
</session-descriptor>
</weblogic-web-app>
I add the following in iisproxy.ini
# This file contains initialization name/value pairs
# for the IIS/WebLogic plug-in.
WebLogicCluster=ltang.ariba.com:8001,achu.ariba.com:7001
ConnectTimeoutSecs=20
ConnectRetrySecs=2
Debug=ALL
WLLogFile=c:\tmp\wlproxy.log
WlForwardPath=/test1
DynamicServerList=OFF
CookieName=AribaNode
I use SesssionServlet.java as an example
When I involk http://proxy/test1/SessionServlet, I always get 1
if I use
http://proxy/test1/SessionServlet:AribaNode=................................
I could see the session becomes sticky.
If I do not want to use URL rewriting, what should I do in order to makethe
session STICKY
for this example.
Thanks,
-Lei

If you leave the CookieName untouched on the WebLogic side, then there
should be no reason to make the change in the plug-in.
But yes, you need to make sure the cookie names are the same.

Eric
"Mark Vaughn" <[email protected]> wrote in message

Actually, you also need to make sure you set the "CookieName" in theplugin.
That let's the plugin read the cookie set by WebLogic to determine
who
the
primary and secondary servers are for that session. Otherwise, theplugin
has no
way of knowing if you are establishing a new session or returning to
an
existing
one. The cookie will tell it if you have a current session and who
it
should
send you to for continuing that session, or failing that session
over.
>>>>
Eric Gross wrote:
Without having clustering enabled, you will not get Sticky load
balancing.
You need to have clustering so that a cookie is sent back to the
client
that
contains information about where it's session is located.
Otherwise,
you
are just going to get round-robin each time.
You can refer to the following page for more information:

I run two standone (Admin server) weblogic servers on machine1
machine2.
Then I deploy application test.war on machine1 first, then onmachine2.
Should I make machine2 as a managed server and machine1 as an
admi

server?
Will this make the session sticky?
Thanks,

It would help us to know how you have iisproxy.ini configured.
Sticky
load
balancing should work fine if you have the plug-in and
WebLogic
Server
setup
correctly.
How have you setup the plug-in?
Thanks,

There are two classes of scalable services: pure and sticky.
A
pure
service
is one where any instance of the application can respond to
client
requests.
A sticky service is one where a client sends its requests to
the
same
instance; those requests are not redirected to other
instances.
It seems to me that weblogic IIS proxy plug-in does notsupport
the
sticky
load balancing.
Could someone give me some information on how to make the
proxy
sticky?
Is there configuration parameters for this?
Thanks,

Fatal Exception OE when loading NPTWIN95.exe
Hello all,
When I select an NDS Printer to be serviced with NPTWIN95, when clicking
OK i get a Fatal Exception OE in 0028:00000017. After a reboot, NPTWIN95
tries to reload due to my registry entry in RunServices, and it says that
it cannot connect to the specified printer, the print server may be down.
The environment is Netware 6.5 SP3, problem is on Win98 workstations. What
is most perplexing is that, I have identical servers sitting side by side,
each on it's own network, with a layer 3 switch between them doing IP
routing, but not IPX routing. Running PSERVER on each server. Identical
workstations on each segment, due to imaging AND hardware, and the
workstations on other segment load NPTWIN95 just fine! NPTWIN95 is not
part of the image, however. I am trying to run NPTWIN95 from the local
drive, but it yields the same error running there or from the network.
Have tried RCONSOLE to test SPX connectivity, works fine on problematic
segment.
Have tried deleting Print Server Object and PQ/P objects and recreating.
Have compared all properties between functional print server and seemingly
non-functional one.
Have checked bindings on server (802.2) and forced workstation to the same
frame type.
Any ideas? I'm fresh out.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.Gr0mas,

Fatal error 'failed to load library dxva.dll
My skype program won't open or load and I get fatal error message ' dxva2.dll what must I do?

Fatal Error: Failed to load library 'pdh.dll.'
When I double click on the Skype icon, a dialogue box pops up. It says "Fatal Error" at the top, and inside, it says, "Failed to load library 'pdh.dll.'" I cannot get Skype to open at all.
I had used Skype with no problems the day before, and I didn't do anything to any files or anything. I don't think.
I have restarted my computer, un-installed and reinstalled Skype, and went into %appdata% and renamed the Skype folder, tried to open Skype, then renamed the folder back again. None of this worked.
I ran a Malware scan and it came back clean. I am currently running a virus scan.
Can anyone help me?

Installing JDeveloper on OSX : Fatal Error (during string substitutions)
Following the instructions from: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/install.1111/e13666/ojdig.htm#BDCFFEJC
and read about all the post in this forum, I am still not able to install JDeveloper 11.1.1.3 or 11.1.1.2
MacOSX 10.6.5 with Java 1.6.0_22
I did the steps as mentioned in the installation guide (make sure 64-bit is on top of the list in the java preferences tool + made the link)
The installer has no problems finding java, but displays a "Fatal Error etc..." at 52%: the action going on then is "Performing String Substitutions"
The log file looks as follows:
