I know the problem is due to old JCE installation.I have downloaded the JCE 1.2.2 and tried to solve the problem. But I could not solve the problem.I will be highly grateful if somebody can show me how to solve the problem.I am having SUN JDK 1.4.2.

I'm facing the exact same problem.

I'm curious to get an idea what is causing it.
Looks like a config file with some touch in the security space is read but the read ends prematurely.

    Hi Senthil,
Could you pleae confirm if "localhost:1521:uddinode" is the correct connection detail.
Most likely the SID "uddinode" or the port number "1521" is incorrect. If the problem persists, please post your "TNSNAMES.ORA" and "LISTNER.ORA" entries here.
    Regards

  • Disabling SSL in Aqualogic Service Registry

    Hi All,
i have installed and deployed Aqualogic Service Registry (ALSR) on weblogic server 9.2. However, by default, SSL is enabled during installation. I tried disabling SSL using Weblogic Admin Console but that didn't help. Is there a way i can configure ALSR war to disable SSL?
    --Vivek

    Hi James,
As I am using ALSR and not OSR and also, deploying it on weblogic server (since, ALSR doesn't support oc4j server), I don't understand why i need to put this question in SOA suite forum.
Installation of ALSR creates registry.war that eventually gets deployed on weblogic server. ALSR doesn't allow me to choose SSL enabling, it choses it by default which is not the case in OSR.
    --Vivek

  • Reporting Services Registry access error

We have an existing setup of SQL 2014 & SP 2013 Foundation server which works fine without any issues. Then, we have been installed the following components into SQL Server
    Reporting Services – SharePoint
    Reporting Services Add-in for SharePoint
Then, I provisioned a new SQL Reporting Services Service Application in SharePoint. When attempting to
Manage the Service Application and click on ‘System Settings’ in Central admin of SharePoint and getting below error.
The report server cannot decrypt the symmetric key that is used to access sensitive or encrypted data in a report server database. You must either restore a backup key or delete all encrypted content. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportServerDisabledException.
The report server cannot decrypt the symmetric key that is used to access sensitive or encrypted data in a report server database. You must either restore a backup key or delete all encrypted content. --->System.Security.SecurityException.Requested registry
    account is not allowed.
I understand from my investigation, an above said error should thrown only if I'm changing the user of reporting services. But in my case, I Just installed Reporting services and trying to do the configuration. Not sure why I'm getting such registry access
    error.

    Hi orionkings,
According to your description, when you click the “System Settings” in Central admin of SharePoint, the error is thrown out.
In your scenario, the error “Requested registry access is not allowed” could cause by SharePoint web service account can't access some registry keys. To fix the issue, you can use Process Monitor to monitor the registry, and grant Read permission for the
    corresponding key.

  • CE 7.2 - Service Registry connection error

    Hi all,
While testing our provider systems in our soamanager, I found following error:
Do: SOAManagement - Technical Configuration - System Connections - Provider systems
    => Ping system
Error: No connection to Services Registry available. Set it up using the CTC template for Services Registry located at http://<host>:<port>/nwa/cfg-wizard.
But everything is up and running...
In our Application and Communication, the assigned provider systems are in error because of this problem.
Last week, everything was fine, up and running, and we didn't had any problems...
I don't know if there were any changes in the system (normally not, because the only person that is actualy working on the system is me...
    If you have any suggestions...
    Thx!

I believe we found the problem!
In the logs, I found this:
Read data of type username and value  XXXXfrom HTTP header and set on module javax.security.auth.callback.NameCallback
Read data of type password and value  XXX from HTTP header and set on module javax.security.auth.callback.PasswordCallback
Authentication for web service ServicesRegistrySiService, configuration ServicesRegistrySiPort using security policy BASIC___ws failed: Cannot authenticate the user.. (See SAP Note 880896 for further info).
So, basicly, the Service Registry was set up with a user that was deleted last week...  So we will re-confgire the Service Registry, and test it again.
I'll let you know if it worked!

    .

I have used the oracle's OSR installation guide. I beg to differ if OSR is really enterprise ready product.
I dont think this is a specific problem with my installation. The point is that the installation logs is very poor to put it mildly.
you get a sense that this product is developed by school student and is not an enterprise ready software.

  • Essbase Administration Services Console Login Error.

    Hi All,
I am new to Hyperion and Essbase. I have been working in OBIEE for sometime. Few days back I have installed most of the available products in Oracle EPM 11.1.1 in my XP machine with Oracle10g. It looks like all the configuration went good - green marks in EPM System Configuration utility, and I am able to login Shared Services using "hypuser/password".
But when I try to login Essbase Administration Services Console using the following
    Server: "MyMachineName",
    User: "WindowsUser" &
    Pwd: "WindowsPwd"
I am getting an error "Could not Connect to Administration Server machinename".
Could anyone help me in solving this issue.
Do I need to make any change in any parameter files or any other settings need to be done before string exploring the application.
Also, I am struggling to find the starting point to learn Hyperion related products could you please shed some light on it. I have read few documents provided by Oracle but still I couldn't make much progress.
    Thanks
    Yar.

    Thanks for the reply.
I am using Tomcat included in the package. I am not using 10gApps.
I have installed EPM system in another machine, but to my surprise I GOT THE SAME ISSUE. I used Tomcat which is included in the package. I don't know where it went wrong altough I followed the procedures in the installation and configuration guide.
One more thing is I am able to open Integration Services and connect to my Oracle SH schema through ODBC adn able to ready for creating OLAP Cubes.
When examining the log file ESSBASE.log I noticed an error message
Single Sign On function call css_init failed with error CSS Error: CSS method invocation error: com.hyperion.css.CSSSystem.<init>
So, I believe there may be some configuration settings missing but not sure.
    Hope these are added info.
    Thanks
    Yar

  • AquaLogic Service Registry installation

    Hi all,
i'm facing some problems in registry installation. The product is installed successfully and i could navigate to the homepage. The problem is when i try to create new account/login from the homepage. these activities redirect the page to a secure connection HTTPS, which is not coming up. Is there any config specific to SSL (like including certificates), if so where should that be done and what are th resources required for the same.
    Thanks,
    PreethaV.

make sure the application server is up and running and you are not installing into an instance which already has SOA Suite installed.

    Hello everyone,
I am trying to publish sender agreement in PI to service registry but error is shown as :
Could not establish connection to Services Registry; configure connection to Services Registry in SAP NetWeaver Administrator and try again.
How to configure it in NetWeaver Administrator J2EE_admin? pls guide me

    sorry,
no idea. it's part of the standard PI setup/configuration, so your PI admin should know or it is found in the PI masterguide or post installation guide(s), e.g. [this|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60d2a693-9504-2b10-5ba7-82964bd8370e].
