AR Invoice Amendment

Hello,
I am wondering whether it is possible to the 'Delivery Date' to a newly designed AR Invoice? I am unable to locate this through the designer tools. The sales order has a delivery date field but I would like to add this to the invoice layout and it would not appear possible through the standard means. Could anyone advise whether this can be done?
Kind Regards,
Juan

Hi there ,
You can put the Field :
INV1 -- > ActDelDate to the area you want to print the delivery date .
This is Actual Delivery Date
Thanks

    IHi experts,
In VOV8 we use both Order related billing & Delivery related billing. We always encounter problem when we need to amend
the Condition values in VK12 that system looks for reversing the Goods issue , then can change the price manually or thru

Isu2019t possible to NOT TO reverse the Goods issue but instead amend the pricing in the SO & create the invoice again. Just with

We do not want to go thru the hurdle of cancelling the goods issue, but just cancel the invoice amend the sales price & re-create the billing.
Please advice the setting to do this.

  • Rate amendment for depot material  with out going invoice from plant.

    Dear all,
    as per my scenario
we have sent some items to depot before 5 month with excise invoice
the price is at 150rupees per unit. and the BED at 16%
now the company want to amend the price of the product by 50rupees more.
and the excise is to be charged at 16%
so what is the best possible way to amend the price now.
how we can increase the price per unit.
in depot when we are selling to the customer the excise is calculated at the price at what it was captured at RG23D.
so please suggest the best possible way
with regards to this i have got a valuable solution from SDN as
For this scenario, there is a provision in SAP where you can create additional excise invoice for the extra price charged
by the vendor or supplying plant. This you can achieve by using transaction code J1IGA.
While doing depot sales this invoice is selected along with the mother invoice in transaction code J1IJ under "get excise invoice".
Please note that you have to assign for all the excise conditions routine 356. System will bring the excise values in the billing based on
the excise duties n the J1IJ and not from the sales oder.
    Depot Sales Process:
    1.Sales Order
    2.Delivery
3.Excise Invoice Creation using T-Code J1IJ (Here you have to select Mother Invoice created in Transaction J1IG and
Additonal excise created in transaction J1IGA)
4.Billing. ( In billing excise duty will be copied from J1IJ and not from sales order based on 356 routines assigned to all the
    excise conditions)
but now we need the outgoing excise invoicefrom plant to depot for additional excise duty which will be captured at depot but the inventory should not increase at depot this means a we want to create excise invoice with null quantity and that to be captured in the depot.
soplease suggest the best possible way to solve the issue
this is a very vital issue please help me
    Thanks With Regards
    Subrat

    Hi
Use J1IH to create additional excise from plant to depot. but this will not reflect in depo sales.
For depot sales addition excise will reflect from J1IGA.

  • Amend GST Code in Sales Invoice after posting

    Hi
Our client has a request to correct GST Code for specific Item Row in Sales Invoice after it has been posted when there are multiple Item rows with different GST Codes and rates.
    Kedalene Chong

    Hi,
Correction of GST code (or VAT code) on posted invoice would not be compliant with regulations in many countries. We need to ensure that B1 legal compliance is maintained and any results generated from B1 are recognized by local authorities. By allowing this, we might face serious difficulties.
Please investigate whether this is legally compliant in the country of the customer.
    Thank you for the suggestion.

  • Excise invoice and domestic invoice sharing same number range

Hi,gurus,my question is addresed to the sap cin gurus
Scenario:-- Normally sap has provided provisions that the domestic invoice and the excise for the export will have different number range object
Transaction-snum or snro(As per the rule the no range has to be approved by excise authorities)
Requirement:--The present requirement of the client is that as per their requirement they will be using the same excise number range both for domestic and the export(They have got the approval from the excise department as per the amendment, that specifies the same)
so i request you to pls guide me as how can it be done in sap that two different business process will share the same number range.
as per my knowledge local excise number range is-J_1IEXCLOC
and for exports is-J_1IEXCEXPand the both will use the same number range and, suppose 1 local invoice is created and say if the no is 1,then if the export excise invoice is created the number will be 2,pls guide me how is it possible that the same number range should be used.
    Thanks in advance---Anshuman chakraborty

Dear sir,Thanks for attention towards the issue, but still i need to clarify some details-
the number range forJ_1IEXCLOC are already configured .It is not the case like i have to configure it for the first time however ,so the issue remains how shall i proceed in this case
Sir,i have already checked the transaction j1iin,it does not give any such box to check the-use local no range
infact the error message which the system was throwing to the user that-number range object not assigned for Object: J_1IEXCEXP.
The question remains from my side is what are the complete configuration steps I need to do ,to make the check box appear so as to select-use local number range, and is there any thing to be conveyed to my developer,so that the same appears,
or is it the case like the anything should earlier have been done before the number range for J_1IEXCLOC was created.i would request u to pls guide me giving the complete details of the step to be followed.

  • Approved invoices can not be edited  - Approval process

    Hi Experts -
I have recently raised an incident with SAP about Approval process - the complete message and support reply is as follows - but i believe we need a change in the approval process - if the approval required is only one but you have defined two people (Either or OR) in the approver list - the system should allow the document to be edited if one of the approvers reject it.
please let me know and i believe we need  a change in design - unless otherwise a solid reason is given to justify the existing design
10.07.2009 10:32 Description (English) by SRS Manian
We have created approval procedure for all the invoices which are entered into the system., The
'Accts' user enters the invoice into the system - the invoice comes for approval to 'Manager' user.
When the Manager opens the invoice via Alert window - he/she wants to modify certain information
(lines as well as Sales person) and approve it.
The invoice which gets opened from the alert window - does not allow the user 'Manager' to modify at
all. All the information on the invoice are greyed out.
The system should allow the user 'Manager' to modify the information. Since the manager has full
    authorization to the system.

         Dear Manian,
    Thank you for contacting us.
When the originator sends the document for manager's approval, note that the at that stage, the document is still in the 'Approval Process'. This is because the system is waiting for the 'Manager' to 'Approve or Reject' the document. Hence, looking at the Document, it is still in 'Draft - Pending' Status.
When the document is in 'Draft-Pending' Status, the document is not available for editing, because the system considers that it is still in the waiting process. In your case, the manager cannot edit t he document.
To amend the document, an action is required from the approver either to reject it first. Once rejected, it can be amended and re-sent for approval.
I have checked our knowledge base and noted that there is an article which describes the approval process. Please refer to the Expert on Phone Wiki Article (March 2009) with title: Why a draft documen t in an approval process cannot be modified by the originator?
The link will provide the explanation:

Thanks for the reply. The scenario is when the Manager receives the
document for approval, he wanted to edit and add it. Your reply (and
documentations) states that it needs to be rejected first before it is
available for editing. When it is gets rejected - the person who
orignated the document gets an alert and he can edit it. Here the
Manager must get an alert so that he can edit the Rejected document.
When the 'manager' rejects the document, and goes back to the alert
window to open the document - it is still greyed out !!
How does the 'manager' reject the document and edits it ?

         Dear Manian,
If after the Manager rejects it and still the document is not editable (greyed out), it means that the document may still be in the 'Approval Process'. When it is greyed out, what is the status of the document in the header? Does it say 'Rejected' or 'Pending'?
If it is still in 'Pending' mode, please verify the number of 'Approvers' set in the 'Stages' tab of the 'Approval Template - Setup' window. If there is more than one user listed as 'Approver', and o nly 1 approval is required, the system provides an opportunity to other 'Approvers' to approve or reject the document. If in your case, the number of approvers is 2, and manager 'rejected' it, the sys tem still keeps the document in Pending status as it waits for another approver's decision to reject or approve it.
Also, verify the number of 'Approvals' required. If the number of 'Approvers' who have not rendered their decision is greater than or equal to the 'Approvals' required (e.g. approvers - 2, required ap provals - 2) the system keeps the document within the approval process. This is to allow the other 'Approvers' to decide on the document.
I hope this clarifies the behaviour. If you can provide us a step by step screenshot of the issue, this may help us to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks for your reply. It has thrown some light to my problem. In this case as per my question the Draft has to be copied to invoice manually right. Is there a way in which I can go across directly to invoice and I would like the Accounting people to veirify or amend the Invoice and post it.
This would avoid the Draft aspect and make the process simple.
    Can you suggest.

I have maintain the contract and with respective of that contract I got due invoices of equal amount by the periodic billing. But now the case is that I want to raise the invoice amount without making changes in the contract value. So can I make changes in the invoice amount by adding a condition into the invoice condition directly or can I change the previous condition amount in invoice only?
If we can make this changes please tell me how can we do it? Or else please suggest me the solution for above scenario.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sanju

    Hi Sanju
    Welcome!
Q1: can I make changes in the invoice amount by adding a condition into the invoice condition directly or
A: Adding a new condition type to your invoice will be an overhead for you as it's one change. Also it will require amendment to you invoice pricing procedure as well.
Q2: can I change the previous condition amount in invoice only?
If this is only one time change, this is better idea.
Please revert if require more help.

  • How do I create a simple writeable template that will load to any PDF invoice

Hi there, I am wanting to use a word template (or writeable PDF template) to superimpose (cut and paste) onto a PDF invoice we receive by email. The goal is to allow us to code directly on to the PDF received. I have tried a few options but they all are time consuming.
Can you please recommend the simplest method to code direct on to the invoice copy (that a manager can then sign off when the email is forwarded to him/her) with the invoice and amendment attached.
    Many thanks
    Danny Kennedy

Try the attached example. Be careful though - if you make changes to this VI, make sure you save it before you run it, as it closes itself, and you will loose any unsaved changes...

  • Invoice with cost center

while creating invoice via va01, if the material is mapped with GL accs that require cost center, we will choose the cost center in Order reason field, after that we create billing and then we can see the accounting document. In case if we not choose the cost center we can still create invoice and billing but the accounting doc is not generated, then we have to create credit note to clear the incorrect invoice and recreate new one..
to over come the above issue is there any way the system throw the message stating that this specific material requires cost center and dosen't allow to save ? ( or) if the above message cant be added is there any chance whether the system allow us to amend the cost center in billing and can recreate the accounting doc automatically ?

You can control this by maintaining Incompletion log for Sales Item (Tcode OVA2) and correspondingly assign the same to your I Cat.
And FYI, you can't make any change in cost center details at billing level.
    Thanks & Regards

  • SBO 2007 PLD AR invoice item code not printing

    Hi,
We have a problem which just started yesterday on an installation that has been running fine for a long time.   The PLD format for the AR Invoice usually prints the row ItemCode no problem.  Since yesterday it started printing the item's manufactirers number instead.   If we changed the default layout to the SAP supplied layout the problem was the same.   Went in to the customised PLD and amended it to one field and then back to the ItemCode now it does not print anything in that field, and nor do the system provided PLDs either, although they have/can not be amended.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Simon

    Hi Thanks for the replies,
The system is on SP00 PL49.    There are no add-ons, and certainly no add-on have been removed or added recently.  The AR invoice PLD has been in use for at least six months without modification.   The field for item code in the PLD looks fine, if I amend it to show, say, the INV1 warehouse code instead, it works fine.  If I switch it back to Itemcode it print nothing.   If I check the table it looks fine also.  It is very strange that the same symptom is experienced in the customer modified PLD and system default PLDs
    Any ideas?

  • No Commercial Invoice pop-up in MIGO for depot

    Hi,
I am doing a MIGO for Imports in depot, but there is no commercial invoice pop-up appearing.
    I did the following:
Checked the tax procedure ,created the required condition types for Ecess and SHEcess which were missing.
Created condition records with zero tax code for the condition types
Maintained in the relevant condition types in tax defaults
Again made a new PO.Put values of all the import duties.
Here my client has CVD and Add Customs inaddition to BCDs.So only two conditions will come other exicse. This is according to the new amendment.
After doing all this still I am not getting a commercial invoice pop-up in MIGO.
    System :ECC 6.0 patch:20
I have a doubt with tax excise defaults.
Becuase even if I try to make an excise invoice through J1IG , it says no entries found in table J_1IEXCDEF.
Please let me know the correct entries for this table and also if any dependency is there.
    CVD Condition type:JCV1
    Add Duty:JADC
    BED:JMX1
    ECS:JEC2
    SHECESS:JHX1

    Hi
This popup comes only for import PO. The vendor in these import PO have the import pricing procedure(std or z copy of std)
It seems you are using std import pricing procedure or a copy of that for your domestic vendor.
You should use only std domestic pricing procedure or a copy of that for your domestic vendors
And if this is not the case then there is a bug in your system. Raise OSS to SAP

  • PO Amendment and approval procedure

    Hi Experts,
My customer would like to have approval on PO amendment, he want an approval on changes in price and quantity.
In SAP B1 before GRPO or AP Invoice anyone can do amendment in PO and all the amendment we can see through change log.
To have control on this kind of amendment my client need Approval on PO updation.
Can we have uery base approval on PO updation?
Pls. give me solution for the same.
    Regards
    Kamlesh Vagal

    Dear Kamlesh,
once we use sap standard approval procedure, we cannot amend the PO once it is approved. you can do changes till the PO is not approved (by Rejecting or Not Approved decision). Once approved it cannot be changed. Here you can try to convince your client that SAP follows a basic principle that once document is approved it should not be updated. If you allow it to amend then the Approval has no meaning. In such scenario your client may argue that we'll have approval even for amendments then you need to do it thru customizaation

  • Regarding the invoice block

    Hi,
    I have a scenario
I create a PO for 10 quantity. The Goods receipt is for the 15 quantity which is within the tolerance limit of the the PO. Now the requirement is to allow the GR but the invoice is to be blocked unless and until the PO is amended for the excess quantity.
Is it possible to Map in standard scenario.
I have a doubt that in case if I change the PO for the additional 5 quantities still the upper delivery tolerance is available for the delivery on 15 quantity in amended PO, So the process becomes unending.

    Hi,
Don't release the PO ,system will not allows us to make then MIRO. Set error message in system for the same.
