AR Invoicemigration that do not effect inventory balances

I using the SDK and the DI API to import Open AR invoices from another platform into SAP B1. Is there a property I could set in either the Documents Object or the Documents Line object that will allow me to NOT update Inventory balances? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Dana,
There is not a property in the SDK that will stop the balances from being affected. You would need to post the transactions and then set the balances using adjusting entries to where they need to be in reality.

Thank you for the question, I think it is easier to explain my current process which I hope you can translate into SAP EWM processes.
I currently have a SKU description of THIRD PARTY STORAGE, this SKU is always a quantity of 1 for stock check purposes. This SKU can be many things but not inventory (in the sense of not a component or finished good). The pallet can be documents for retention, samples for QC, trial parts etc. This pallet can be received onto the WMS without a Purchase Order number, the SKU is set up to be able to be received 999999 times before a re-set is necessary. The SKU has a putaway algorythm for the high bay warehouse and is sub-zoned into an aisle.
I hope this clarifies what I'm asking for in SAP.

Issue: While "Invoice Cancelling- Accounting entry not effected in Trial balance"
Invoice which is cancelled and accounting events for Invoice & Cancellation is taken place, but the entry for cancellation is not appearing in the GL Hence the reversal effect of expense is not seen.
I can able to see the Reversal Entry in Payables > Reports > View Accounting A
Here > Tools > View Accounting Events > View Journal Entries > Show Addtional Information > Transfer to GL Status is "No" after that i have Run the Transfer Journal Entries to GL even its not appearing in GL and not transfer to GL.
@Have to Resolve this as soon as possilble, plz any one can lets guide me

If it's not printed on the card, then you'll need to check the receipt from the purchase of the card. There's no way to check the value from the card itself without redeeming it.

System SAP does not allow to post a journal that is not balancing?

According to the implementation of controllers SOX in the company, I need
to verify if the SAP ERP system must like standard functionality not
allow to record documents that are not balanced (debit = credit).

SAP Follows the document principle which means that unless the debit is equal to credit in a document you cant save the document.
This is based on the double entry system of book keeping and in sync with the accounting principles accepted world over.

Show all devices that do not have an inventory

How can I run a report or show all devices that do not have an inventory? We have some devices that do not initially upload or run their first inventory. If I manually run it or send it to run from the console it works but I need to know which pcs to run it on.

I don't know how you would feel about the quality, because I have never actually used one, but there is usualy a free 7 day trial of Video Blocks and they have 100 virtual sets available. You can download as many as 20 per day with the trial. So you have enough time in a week to get them all. But don't forget to check out the music section for your news intro. And some lower thirds.

Inventory balance report in Group Currency

Hi MM gurus,
Does anyone knows a standard SAP report that I could run to get inventory balance in group currency? I know I could run MB5B to get inventory balance as of a certain posting date. But the report only shows me the amount in the plant currency (local currency). For example, I have a plant in Germany and the default currency is EUR. When I run MB5B, the report shows me inventory balance in EUR. I would like to see the balance in USD which is our group currency. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi ,
If you are using any report like MC.1 to MC.9 you can choose From menu SETTINGS->CURRENCY->ANALYSIS CURRENCY.
Here you can provide your group currency for valuation.
Note: MM5B has no such options.

Hi,
The following steps must be considered when Conversion activity is planned on a live SAP system.
1. Take a back up of the system, before starting the conversion. For whatever reason if the conversion activity fails you can fall back on the back up and restore the system as it is before conversion activity.
2. Take financials as on the cut off date of conversion. This should be the basis for validation after the conversion activity.
3. Create about 5 or 6 Conversion accounts - as per Business requirements. It is better to create a Conversion account separately for assets / liabilities / expenses / revenues / materials etc. If there is any problem, you need to work only on that specific activity - say liabilities accounts.
The sum total of all the Conversion accounts should be zero. After Completing the cut over activity / Business sign off, ensure that Conversion GL Accounts are blocked, so that Users will not post transactions even by mistake.
4. Before uploading open items of Customers / Vendors ensure all the Master records of Customers / Vendors are created.
5. Ensure all master records like - GL Accounts, Cost Elements, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Material Masters, Asset Masters etc. are all created.
6. For uploading inventory balances, you need to work closely with MM Consultant. Material wise the values are uploaded and this has to tie with GL Balance. As this is a live system, you need to have a report of the existing materials balances (Quantity as well as value). After upload of the inventory values, you need to reconcile the total value.

How do you add/use typekit fonts that are not edge web fonts?

I am just trying out the new Muse CC 2014.1 (August) release and was keen to try the new font facilities. As far as I can see that while I can now add other fonts for which I have downloaded web font files via the Self Hosted Web Fonts function, Typekit fonts that are not "Adobe Edge Web Fonts" are effectively unavailable? Have I missed something.
As an example I want to use the Proxima Nova web font family. I have selected it on the type kit site, set them up to Sync via my Creative Cloud account. So for example if I select a font in Photoshop CC or Illustrator, the Proxima Nova fonts appear. Even ok in Word for Mac. They do not appear in Muse.
To add them as self hosted web fonts, I would need to physically download the relevant fonts files and install them on my desktop using the OS-X font tool. However as they are being sync'd via Creative Cloud this shouldn't be necessary should it? Also I don't see an option for doing so on the typekit site.
Any help or guidance would be very welcome.
PS: I seem to have a separate issue with the Creative Cloud app, which is not listing fonts under the Assets tab. But I don't think that is related as they are working fine for Photoshop, etc.

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. To add fonts from Typekit to your Muse website, you will want to use the web fonts path instead of desktop fonts. (You can use a desktop font synced from Typekit in your Muse design, but it will exported as an image the same as any other system font.)
There are a couple options for using Typekit web fonts in Muse:
o) The Muse Insider wrote a post on how to insert the Typekit embed code from the Muse interface:

o) Or you can add the embed code to the Page Properties dialog within Muse, which will include it in the <head> of the page when you export your website. The steps are the same as this tutorial, but you will add the Typekit embed code to Muse instead of into your page directly:

Note that in either case the Typekit fonts will not be displayed in the Muse preview window. You'll need to publish your site to a server in order for the Typekit fonts to be loaded into the page.

Do you see a "loading" icon in the tab (e.g. a blue spinner wheel)? It sounds similar to this thread; you might try these suggestions:

Quota deduction when EE has been inactive for more than 180 days / Advance quota days when employee does not have enough balance

Dear experts,
We have two requirements regarding to the "Anual leave" quota.
1. Quota reduction when employee is inactive for more than 180 days
2. Advance quota days when employeee does not have enough balance
We have in place an "Anual Leave" quota related to a calendar year period, that gets generated dialy in time evaluation. This quota gets the employee entitlement from a set of rules that stored the corresponding balance in a period time type, that is the one that we defined in the customizing. This is working fine. The problems start when we try to incorporate the other two requirements.
Regarding the first requirement, if the employee has been inactive for more than 180 days in a calendar year due to unpaid leave, we need to start quota reduction as follow,
First, we need to clear the balance that was calculated above in the schema.
Then, we need to calculate one leave day for every 20 days worked till the end of the year, considering as such, everyday the employee is expected to work, except days on which the employee has been absent on unpaid leave.
For the second requirement we created a manual quota call "Advance Anual Leave". So, if the employee, wishes to take 20 working days holiday, but in his/her Anual Leave quota has only 10 days available, we have to create an "Advance Anual Leave" quota manualy for 10 days. When the quota for next year gets generated, we need to deduct these advanced 10 days from it. This deduction should stop the year after.
The problem we are finding with these two requirements is that, due to the Anual Leave quota gets generated dialy, we can't get the balance right.
