Arabic and Hispanic Language

Hi all, I have two forms that are converted to Arabic, and one that is converted to Hispanic Language. How can I set this up so that the users, when filling it out, will fill it out in their respective languages (Arabic and Hispanic)? I'm new at doing this type of thing so any help would be greatly appreciated.

So far the iPod has never supported a number of scripts which iTunes can handle, including Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Vietnamese, Devanagari, Tamil, Tibetan, etc.

If you are talking about typing text then make sure that the language toolbar is visible.

Printing Arabic and English Language on a smartform

Forms 10G - How to switch between Arabic and english languages.

We have a bilingual ( ENGLISH , ARABIC) form .Some of the text feilds are to be
filled in english and some in arabic . In forms 6i
the switching from LTR and RTL worked fine .We used the feild properties and
direction and language would suffice to get the required behaviour of forms.
Now in forms 10g since they work in a browser its not getting the desired
effect of changing direction in arabic feilds the cursor blinks at the right
side of the feild but still the language is english .
What am i missing here to have the feild in the form type in arabic .
PS numbers work fine .Its only the language text ie the script of the language

You can't switch languages in OS X programs, just in the OS itself. Insert the Leopard OS X disc, and choose your new preferred language when prompted.

InDesign for Windows + Arabic and Nepali languages

Is it possible to create documents in Nepali and Arabic in InDesign CS3 for Windows?
Any specific requirements?

We are looking at a project taking some very old Nisus documents and reproducing them in InDesign CS3. I am still gathering data from the original person who did the manuals years ago. So far all I have is that they used an old version of Nisus that only works on OS 9 and they used Dallas, Dalstuff, and Dallas Bold fonts.
Any ideas as to whether we could convert this or import the text into InDesign CS3?
Or perhaps more importantly how well InDesign CS3 will work with Nepali in the first place.

I understand you try to do this with an Oracle XE database. Do not go this way -- ALTER DATABASE CHARACTER SET is not supported, nor documented in 10g and 11g. Neither are csalter.plb or csscan utilities needed to change the character set in SE and EE editions.
Export the content of your database, install the universal edition of the XE, which is in AL32UTF8, and import the data.

With CS6 you have to pay extra for these plugins.
With the CC you can download different ME versions to add their functionality.

Go to system preferences/language & text/language and move English to the top of the list and then restart.

The buttons contain both Arabic and English.
All keyboards with non-Latin scripts printed on them also have English printed on them. Otherwise you could not type email and webpage addresses and the computer would be of very limited use.

Sharepoint 2013: Problem / Error when creating Variation Hierarchy for French and German Languages from Variation root EN

Hi,
I have a website with English and Arabic Language Packs installed. I have the corresponding Variation heirachies created and the whole site collection is published.
Recently the client asked for french and german languages to be accomodated as well. So I followed the same approach I did for English and arabic (installed the language packs) for foundation, ran ocnfiguration wizard, installed server language pack &
ran configuration wizard.
But after creating the variation label, when i try to create the variation heirarchy, I am getting the following error.
"Unknown failure when creating a variation of page http://server:port/en/pages/default.aspx in label /fr/Pages/default.aspx.
The Variations Create Hierarchies job failed with the following error message& Unknown failure when creating a variation of site
http://server:port/en in label fr."
Am not sure what is going wrong. Appreciate a feedback.

Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you created the Variation Hierarchy for French and German Languages from Variation root EN.
I recommend to check the Resources folder located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15 to see if the file core.fr-FR.resx exists in the folder.

After purchasing a modem for cell phone internet access from Cellium in Monrovia, Liberia when my computer came back up the search
box and tabs came up in arabic and I need to know how to get them
back to english.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
You can check the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection: No Proxy
See "Firefox connection settings" in [[Server not found]]
Are the language settings still correct?
Tools > Options > Content : Languages
You can also try to "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the [[Safe mode]] start window.

If you haven't found an answer yet. I know for a fact that this can be ordered directly from Apple at no extra cost
You can either ask for this when buying a new MBP at a "physical" Apple store, or as in my case in the UK the online Apple store allows such keyboard configuration in addition to 3 other languages like Spanish, German and French
