Arabic in network reports

upgraded from 5.1 to 5.5. now, when i try to computer reports, after entering the computer password i'm taken to a log-in page with the TEXT IN ARABIC!  The URL is about 500 characters long, starting with https://services.linksys.com/lela_reporting/lela_reporting.jsp....  entering my email and password (guessing at what the arabic is asking for) doesn't seem to work.  this happens from both of the computers on my network that have upgraded to 5.5 and occurs when asking for reports on computers running either 5.5 and 5.1.

    Hi Rory Christian,
Would you please let me confirm whether it’s SBS 2011 Essentials or SBS 2011 Standard?
If it’s SBS 2011 Essentials, and you have installed Update Rollup 2. Please use following Hotfix and check
if help you to solve this issue.
You receive the warning "Computer Monitoring Error"
in Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials after you install Update Rollup 2
If this issue still persists or it’s SBS 2011 Standard, please run
SBS BPA and fix all that it can find. Then monitor the result. Meanwhile, please open Event Viewer and check if you can find more clues.
If any update, please feel free to let me know.
    Hope this helps.

  • Network Report Changed

    Hi All,
Cisco changed the way that Network Reports are done. No longer is the actual report Emailed. No Longer can you checked previous Email Reports. You can only check the current information.
If you like Network Magic and are unhappy about the current Network Reports, you need to speak up and call Customer Service and / or post your feelings here. Or you can just accept the changes.
I have no children, and really don't need Network Reports. But if you have children and want to check older Reports, you need to speak out and not remain silent.

    A few thoughts :
    - I like the format of the new reports, but I don't need an email every day with the link when I could (theoretically) get to it via the NM Tasks section.  Currently this functionality seems to be broken and should be modified to provide the same link as the new emails.
    - The benefit of the (previous) daily email report for me was to have an overview of the links followed, allowing a final check for potential malware via the combination GMail/Finjan.
My ideal would therefore be a combination of old and new, and the chance to set the email report frequency to something other than daily (weekly would be optimum for me).
Perhaps we can collate the user requirements via this thread?

  • SBS2011 Network Reports failing to email

    Hello all,
I have a number of SBS2011 machines that are failing to send the daily network reports.
I’ve done some troubleshooting already and cannot resolve it, thus this post.
Neither the scheduled report nor the “generate and e-mail report” method work.
When I try the “generate and e-mail”option, I get the error “An error has occurred while sending this report.  As a result, some of the recipients will not receive this report in e-mail”
The following error is also logged in the file C:\Program Files\Windows Small Business Server\Logs\MonitoringServiceLogs\DataServiceComponents.log
    [16568] 141022.113000.4756: Messaging: MessagingTaskException: The operation couldn't be performed because object 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' couldn't be found on SBS.DOMAIN.local'. - Error# (80006)
I’ve read various other posts in this forum and only one post was close but it wasn’t resolved despite someone marking it as resolved after suggesting to run SBS BPA.  BPA has been run on this server incidentally and it’s clean.  I’ve also followed
the instructions to manually repair the reporting services from the Microsoft blog.  Re-created ok but still no joy.
The error message from the DataServiceComponents.log suggests it’s a permissions issue but I don’t know how to resolve it.
I read that the SBSMonAcct account must be enabled for these reports to work yet one of the servers that we maintain that IS sending these reports via email to external addresses has this account disabled (yet the email still comes from
[email protected]).  So I am thinking that this account is irrelevant? It was disabled by default on our internal SBS and I tried enabling it but still no joy.
Anyone got any suggestions?  Much appreciated.

Hi, apologies for the late reply, I've finally got time to follow this up.
I've unmarked Susan's reply as answer until I have actually fixed it.  The linked info seems relevant but isn't hitting it on the head.
Reports cannot be generated manually, they fail whether manual or scheduled.  The receive connectors appear fine and are configured correctly.  The "Default SERVERNAME"
    receive connector is still there and is untouched since the initial fresh install of this server.  I verified the config is as per;
    and
I will try the fix my network wizard out of hours on our own server and update this post later.

  • Hey - NM network reports again in my Inbox

After several months of outage suddenly out of the blue I received two NM  network reports both for "Sunday, June 28th". I am used to the fact that day of the week and day of the month does not match, also the report was empty because the PC was not turned on on Sunday, but this might indicate that NM network reports are back.
Any similar experiences from other forum members?

After few days of empty reports (in spite of the fact  that PC was turned on and used) last two reports are  normal again. All network activity and applications used are presented as they should be.
Nice Cisco, try to keep it that way .
So currently for me there exists just one minor problem related to the NM - day of the month and day of the week in the report do not match e.g. today Sunday, July 4th, I received report for Friday, July 3rd.

  • Viewing Network reports

Hi, I purchased the Cisco wireless rounter earlier this year and love it.
I signed up for the network reports with Network Magic but when I click on the email it asks me to download Flashplayer 10.
When I agree it appears to download but I can't find it on my machine and of course can't read the report.
Some software trial ended several weeks ago. Can I get the reports without purchasing it?
I use compuserve and Windows XP Home Ed SP 3.
    Can you help me please?

  • Wireless network report says that the wireless radio is not fuctioning

I have a C309a HP printer.  When I updated my laptop from Vista to windows 7 and try to connect to the wireless printer,  it will not connect wirelessly.  When I print the Wireless network Test Report the report says that the Wireless radio in the printer is not functioning.  Do I need to buy another printer????  I have gone into the wireless radio selection and made sure that it is set to on.

    Hello Jawhited,
It might be possible that the printer is not able to initialize the printers wifi adapter. There are a few steps that I would try before looking for a other printer. One of them is contacting your local HP support. Often with a reset, they might be able to to re-initialize the printer in a attempt that it would re-enable the printers wifi card.
What could also help, is making sure that Bluetooth is disabled, or first disabling every communication option and then re-enable the wifi radio only. Though as I said before, make sure to contact you local support for any further options they might have.
    Kind regards,

  • Arabic in XML Reports

    Hi,
I have created a template of RTF format with which contains Arabic.
It looks fine in the template but when I run the report through concurrent program it shows junk characters in the PDF output format.
Please let me know what are the pre-requisite and options need to used to view in Arabic.
    Thanks and Regards.

    Hi ,
For your proplem it may be two cause ,
Firstly ,how did you define the template on the applications in the section of Langauge and Teriotory?
in 11i, choose the Langauge Arabic and the teritory Egypt,
in 12r chhose the langauge English and leave the teritory blank.
Secondly IF you do this and the arabic character still junck contact your system adminstrator to define the arabic fonts like (Arial,Albanine,(Hendi for numbers)) under the righte paths .
It should work cause i was having the same problem .

  • Regarding Arabic Language RDF Report

    Dear All,
I am working on one Arabic Report. I have changed the following in Windows XP OS,
NLS Lang for Devesuitehome - "AMERICAN_AMERICA.AR8MSWIN1256"
Changed the Regional & language settings. When I run the report from Report Builder the output is showing the Arabic Characters as it is in the Layout. (Titles , some labels, etc...)
I have moved the same report to Oracle apps (Application Tier, $AP_TOP/reports/US) and created the concurrent program for the report... the output file format is .ps and I have installed Ghost Viewer to view .ps files.
When I run the report from Oracle Apps, the output is showing all junk characters instead of Arabic Characters.
Any of you faced the same problem before? Please share your ideas.
    Thanks in Advance.

  • WiFi Finds Home Network, Reports Incorrect Password

New iPad 64GB Wifi. Works with WiFi at work, but with my home computer (Dell) and DSL (Verizon Westell 7500), I get the "Incorrect password" for my network error. The iPad finds the network, it just won't connect. I've tried it with the iPad on the same table as the router. Have tried numerous times, so I'm sure I'm typing the password correctly. Have rebooted everything. Fujitsu tablet (also Windows 7) works fine. Suggestions?
I think I've read all the relevant threads and and have read many other discussion found on the internetz.

If you've been reading some of the other threads on here dealing with home WiFi networks, you know one of the first questions is how old is the router? Several posts have been due to old hardware. Next, what security are you using,WEP or WPA? WEP has been problematic for some people. Use WPA if possible.
A reset of the iPad network settings, then reselecting the WiFi network and entering the security information may help. Of course, after resetting the network you will have to rejoin and enter the information for your work network.
Given the keyboard requirements of the iPad, i.e., caps and special characters, be careful to watch as each is entered...you can see the entries for a brief period in plain text.
Just some thoughts that come to mind.
