Arabic subtitle

How can I add Arabic subtitle to Appel TV 2

Unfortunately it does not work. Does the Final Cut Studio 2010 (DVD Studio Pro) supports directly the authoring of arabic subtitles? If not, what is the problem ? taking into consideration that the operating system (Leopard latest version) is enabled for arabic language , I mean that we should be very close to a successful arabic authoring . Please share with me any method or solution which you might came up with. Thank you for your patience.

  • A problem in displaying the arabic subtitles of video files

    greetings;
kindly i need a solution for the following problem:
the arabic subtitles of all my video files cannot be displayed in the video players.
    i tried these solutions:
1- installing K-lite codec full pack & mega pack.
2- installing subRT player from windows store.
    3- installing VLC media player.
4- having the choice (Lyrics, captions and subtitles) in windows media player options turned on.
but i failed to show the subtitles, when i installed the k-lite codec and i played the videos by Media Player Classic the subtitles appeared in western language.
My operating system is: windows 8  64 bit
    My computer is HP.
    thanks so much for attention.

    Hi Fouad El.Razzaz,
“having the choice (Lyrics, captions and subtitles) in windows media player options turned on.”" the arabic subtitles of all my video files cannot be displayed in the video players"
Are you using a .sub or .srt file ?Have you tried to open them in the notepad to have a check? The video file and the .sub or .srt file should be put in the same folder and make sure they have the same name.
If you're playing a Windows Media file or DVD that has captions or subtitles in a different language, you can change the language in which the captions or subtitles are displayed .

  • Add arabic subtitles with Premiere cs5

Hi to all, I need to add arabic subtitles to a video, but I have problems when I copy and paste the text from a PDF file. When I copy each sentence, what it is finally pasted is different, so I do not know what to do.
Can someone help me please? Do I need additional software or pluggins?
    Thanks

You've posted in the Premiere Elements forum. PRE cannot add true subtitles to a project. The text you add will always be on show.
If it is Premiere Pro you should repost your problem in this forum: Premiere Pro CS5 & CS5.5

  • Arabic Subtitles (right to left)

    hi,
I'm working on a dvd project with 10 subtitle streams - one of them being arabic. When I paste the arabic text into dvd studio - the text is displayed in the wrong direction (left to right). is there a way to change the font direction in dvd studio for a single subtitle track.
I tried to paste the text directly from mellel (text editor with right to left support) with no success. I have imported all other subtitles via stl import with nearly no problems
has anyone already produced a dvd with arabic or hebrew subtitles?
    cheers,
    /ingo
PS: I'm using dvd studio version 4.2.0

  • How to show Arabic subtitle

I have Apple TV 3rd generation. I purchased movies on iTunes Store which suppose to have Arabic subtitle. I couldn't show the Arabic subtitle. I tried to go to the Apple TV settings and I searched for the Arabic language in the subtitles but couldn't find. So I put the subtitle language to default but it didn't show any subtitle then.
How to show Arabic subtitle in the movies that have already Arabic subtitle available on Apple TV?

Just run the movie and press "select" in the remote to open the internal movie menu that includes “movie chapters, subtitle ...” . Then select subtitle and you will find Arabic subtitle.

  • Store TV+ cannot read arabic subtitle

Arabic subtitle cant be read on this device.
On the TV it is shown like symbols.
Does this device support Arabic subtitle?

    Hello Asayad
I have noticed similar problem on numerous devices, especially different DVD players designed for Windows operating system and also by stand-alone DVD players where I can connect external HDD with saved movies and text files for subtitles.
All this players dont have problems to read Latin fonts but if there is some country specific symbol it will be mostly shown as symbol.
I can imagine that there is problem with Arabic language but also hope that this will be solved with some firmware update in the future.

  • Arabic text copy paste

    Hi,
I am having problems in paste arabic text in final cut pro x.
The text is in text edit, I copy it and I can paste it everywhere: safari, word, photoshop... but not in FCPX.
I need to copy and paste for arabic subtitles and titles. By chance the first time I tried it worked fine, but after that everytime I try to paste the text FCPX doesn't respond.
    Any idea?
    Thanks,
    P

    This is a soundbite:
Again, please try to cut and paste more than one time because here and there randomly it works.
    Thank you

  • Arabic Text - Font Substitution Issue - Urgent.

    Hi,
We are using After Effects to create some Arabic Subtitles, we are using the Arabic Text script to make the arabic text to be written correctly (all joined up, flowing from Right to Left).
We need to use a client's custom Arabic font on the project, and this font is being used correctly on most of the text, but on odd characters After Effects defaults the characters back to the "Adobe Arabic" font. If we try and select these characters and change the font back to the one we need to, as soon as I click enter, it substitutes the font back to Adobe Arabic.
Is there a way to stop this?
    Thanks,

Think I've narrowed down the problem a bit, After Effects can read the characters correctly, e.g:
If I copy and paste the text in to after effects, the characters appear, but the flow of text is incorrect, and the arabic characters are not connected how they should be.
To amend this, if i put the text through the Arabic Text script V2.0 from AE Scripts, the flow of text is corrected, but some of the characters are then substituted back to Adobe Arabic, and it is impossible to change them back to the font we need.
I think the problem lies within the arabic text script!

  • Arabic titles in PPro CS5 are left-to-right

    Hi,
I'm trying to add Arabic subtitles in Premiere Pro CS5 (PC).
When I copy and paste the text, it switches from right-to-left to left-to-right.
    I need it right-to-left.
    Can anyone help?

Found a solution that may work, although I used windows, Premiere Pro CC cloud version (2014):
Export tout of the Arabic word doc as a .pdf
select the text in ADOBE ACROBAT. RIGHT CLICK and “copy with formatting” then
    paste into premiere.
May have to paste it LINE BY LINE and occasionally tweak the ordering.  Pay careful attention.
The type of PDF export may be important too but I haven’t tested that.  I just know it’s working for me.
If there is an English word in the middle of the Arabic just select that word and not the punctuation and COPY FORMATTING and it should paste ok too.

  • Nokia 701 subtitles and memory

how can i play videos with arabic subtitles and what kind if memories should i buy?

To play videos with subtitltes, you should have a subtitle file with extension .srt. (This file is small maybe about 100 KB).
Make sure that the video file (.avi, MP4....) and srt file should be of the same name and both are in same location or folder.
