Arabic Text in Forms not proper

Hi Gurus,
I have an requirement to print standard forms for Sale order confirmation and Delivery note in Arabic. The Print preview i am getting shows the arabic text as alphabet by alphabet translation in forms for the arabic texts and whereas when i check the abap list display it shows proper arabic description.
I mean the customer name for eg. is not in proper arabic (Which is maintianed in table as Arabic text form only) whereas in the abap list display it is coming absolutely correctly.
Please advise.
Regards,
Venket

Hi
Use the concept of text module, and assign text module to text fields. and give the condition that if language is arabic than text module will be executed.
i  did in adobe forms , you can find that one in **************** , click on tutorials , click on adobe forms and select with use of text modules.

  • Button Text on Form not Displaying

The following was posted by PGMR1998 at 09:58am on Feb 22, 2008 (Pacific) but got no response:
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 8, and I have added a button to reset the form fields. The button has some text on top, but the text on the button does not display until I click down on the button in the preview pane. How can I make the button text visible always? Thanks in advance for your support..
I'm having the same problem with the submit button on a form in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. No matter what I do, the button text does not display. Any ideas?

What font are you using? What is the font color set to? What font size? Can you post a sample somewhere?
You specify the label text for a button using the Options tab of the Button Properties dialog. Describe each of the settings on this page. In particular, you can have a different label for the Up, Down, and Rollover states.

  • Safari not rendering Arabic text correctly

I have Safari 1.0.3 running on Mac OS 10.2.8 and it will not render Arabic text correctly. Isolated letters appear at about half the correct size, which makes pages readable but only with considerable difficulty and annoyance.
I saw some solutions here that related to removing Microsoft fonts, but I removed all fonts from Home:Library:Fonts and quite and restarted Safari, and the problem persists. I also downloaded Firefox 2.0 and the same issue occurs - with the added feature that the tab titles on Firefox also display this anomaly, whereas tab titles on Safari render Arabic correctly.
And by the way, if this issue can be resolved, can safari and other apps be got to use a font other than the extremely ugly and hard-to-read default?
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.2.x)

Thanks Tom. The problem though is not that letters
that are meant to be connected are coming out
isolated; letters that are meant to be isolated, e.g.
initial alif, waw, ra and final letters after alif,
waw ra, are displaying way too small.
    Sorry I misunderstood the problem.
Do you think it is worth trying your troubleshooting
tip no. 18? And do you have any idea what sort of
issue could be behind it that it would affect Firefox
    too?
Yes, you may as well try no. 18. That tip, which really has no logic to it, reflects the fact that voodoo is sometimes required to get Jaguar to display Arabic correctly in browsers. Panther was a tremendous improvement in that regard.

  • Arabic text not showing properly (chat & presenter)

    Hi,
We’ve two issues with Arabic text:
1- In the chat window when you type a sentence (say
    السلام
    عليكم
    ورحمة الله it
    appears backward الله
    ورحمة

    السلام)
2- When using Presenter in PowerPoint any Arabic word when
exported appears in reverse and the letters disjointed.

  • Display Item not showing Text when form is opened in Forms 6i

    Hi,
I am using Oracle Forms 6i & I have taken DisplayItem control on a canvas and want to show some text over that e.g., "Your Name". For that I set 'Initial Value' property of that control in Property Palette to "Your Name". But I am not getting any such text message when I run the form nor it is coming at form design time. Can anyone please let me know where I am missing and how to display text in forms using DisplayItem control?
Can you also suggest from where to learn these basic things about Oracle Forms 6i?
    Thanks in advance.

    bootstrap escribió:
Can I initialize this object using Property Palette? If not why so?
can you please tell how to use go_block & where to call this method?
Yes, just as you did with the initial value property, but you have to "initialize" the record in that block. Navigating in runtime to the block is a way to achieve that, so you have to put the "focus" in the block with built-in GO_BLOCK . For example, in the W-N-F-I trigger.
Another way to put the focus there, as indrabudiantho sugested, is dragging the block to the topmost place in the list of block in design time. Thus, when you enter your form in runtime, the focus will go to the first navigable item in the first block as defined at design time.
About the resource docs, I think there was a "Oracle forms developer guide" bundled in paperback with a quite old version of the product which wasn't too bad. Not the "forms builder reference" , which is more or less the online forms help, but the guide. Also, there must be commercial books about forms & reports.

  • Wrong arabic text display on Mac - not joint - (good on windows)

    Hi,
exported for air 2.6 from within flash CS5.5, executed with latest AIR framework (2.7...).
As you can see in the screenshot, the same air project, run on windows or on mac, shows arabic text differently.
TextField is set to "_sans" device font text (otherwise it doesn't join even on windows).
As you can see from the screenshot, underlying is the project running on windows, and the arabic text looks good. On top, is the same air project on Mac, and the arabic text is displayed wrong (not joint, look closely you will notice differences).
Text is loaded externally from an utf8 xml file.
Any suggestion? I wouldnt like to convert hundreds of buttons and tabs into graphics... And we need multilanguage support.
    thank you
    Filippo
    PS
Notice below (stacked on top) is mac version.

Thank you for the report.  Would you mind opening a new bug for this issue on our public bug database?  Please attach any sample code/project you have that would help us quickly reproduce the text issue.

  • Arabic text appearing incorrectly in Photoshop CC when working with PSD created in previous version

Hi. I'm working with PSD files that were originally created in Photoshop CS5 and they contain English text. Now I want to open them with Photoshop CC ME and add Arabic text.
So I've gone to Preferences > Type > clicked the "Middle Eastern and South Asian" radio button
Then from the main menu I selected Type  > Language Options > checked "Middle Eastern Features".
I see the Middle Eastern features in the Paragraph and Character panels. However, if I create a text box and paste in Arabic text - the text is corrupt. The characters are not connected and their appearence is incorrect.
I've double checked that I have right-to-left selected in the Paragraph panel and in the Character panel I have both "Standard Ligatures" and "Contextual Alternates" selected.
When I open a new file in Photoshop CC and paste the same text into a newly created text box - it works fine. The Arabic appears perfect. The issue is only when working in a file that was previously created in an earlier version of Photoshop.
If I move a text box from the new PSD created in CC to the other PSD created in CS5 - all is good. However this work-around is far from Ideal, since I need to work in the existing text boxes.
Does anyone have an idea how to enable proper appearance of Arabic text in Photoshop CC in a file that was created in a previous version?
    Thanks!

  • Arabic text appears in reverse

    Hi,
Do you know the answer to this?
My Arabic text is appearing correctly
    However
If you copy and paste arabic text from MS Word 2000 into Forms the characters appear reversed.
    i.e.
    Arabic example
    appears as
    elpmaxe cibarA
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
This only happens on Win NT but not Win
    2000.
    Thanks

    Dear All,
This is just to inform that the problem has been solved by implementing SAP note 587150, point number 4 :  ABAP list printing
( Entry to be added in table TCP0I through transaction SE16.)
    Best regards.

  • English to Arabic Text

Hi, How do you simply display Arabic text in ILL CS3. I'm Using a Mac 10.5.6.
The text has been supplied correctly as outlines in Arabic, but I want to reflow the sentences, and would like to make these changes.
When I open the file that hasn't been converted to outlines, the text is gibberish.
Any help would be appreciated, as to how I can display the Arabic text correctly.
    Thanks, Steven

To handle Arabic, you need to use Middle Eastern editions of Adobe software, such as Illustrator CS4-ME. Arabic is a script based language where each character charges its form depending upon the position within the word. If you import Arabic and place in English Illustrator, it will incorrectly reverse the characters, and not join them.
