ARB issues posted

Hey all,
The Flex team has a group called the Architecture Review Board that meets
regularly to address issues that seem to be coming up. It's the kind of
group that often gets to deal with the "hallway conversation" issues. I've
taken a number of the issues that we've resolved over the last few months
and put the notes from those decisions on the Gumbo page
(http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Gumbo) down at the bottom.
A few notes, the ones that are already closed should be marked as such.
There are 2 at the bottom that are getting resolved now, so I've opened the
comments section if you're interested. Finally the Halo/MXML prefix issue
is potentially going to be re-opened dependingon the outcome of the Fx
prefix discussion (which I'll be posting more about later today).
We will briefly discuss the ARB issues in our standard iteration meeting,
and will be better about having notes posted as the decision is coming up as
we move forward.

I think we’ve only figured out how to easily get Confluence to report on the current page, not the pages we’re linking to. And updating manually is probably not that reliable. I definitely recommend using the Pages RSS feed that I got added to the sidebar. 90% of the updates you’ll see are each night when we add the changelist and update the download page with a nightly build. But you’ll also see when new specs appear and when other pages are updated. I tried doing a search, but it's so hard to tell if they might be in AS2, or AS3, and if they would apply to newer versions of Adobe Flash (I have CS5)

Km document upload issue post NW 7.31 SP12 portal upgrade

Hi,
We have recently upgraded portal from SP9 to SP12 in NW 7.31. Post upgrade we are unable to upload documents in KM . On click of folder icon in Content Admin -> KM content -> Folder , i get a javascript error as "Access is denied" popup_ie6.js as shown in screen-shot below. We are facing this issue post upgrade. Any idea what might be the issue?

Context menu is disappeared under KM content. Not in AFP (CNP).
As per note, 1921618 - Context menu is not visible for KM resources
i have updated this.

Hi
If i understood correctly, you are looking to track the issues pertaining to PO.
There is no relevancy of issues of PO, if the material procured is stock material. This means, your procurement is intended for stock only. Issues will be made to the departments who approachs with necessary requirement.
If your procurement is for consumption (account assigned PO), your GR document is nothing but the consumption doc. You can find the goods consumption time from the GR document.

Any solution to DVD drive issue post Lion install yet?

Since installing Lion no DVDs are being read by the superdrive, this is a problem that has been highlighted by quite a lot of people.
CDs are being read fine.
After inserting the DVD there is some noise, sounds like it is trying to pickup the DVD then spits it back out.

No Wireless Issues - Post Your Router

There is a "Wireless Issues - Post Your Router" thread, so this one will take a look at all routers that do NOT have any issues at all with any model of MacBook Pro. Unfortunately I can't add to it personally since Airport won't connect to my Linksys WRT54G intermittently. I was looking at the DLink DI-634M, so if anyone has any experience with that one, please post that as well.

Linksys WRT54GX4... A great router that supports 4 Windows XP systems (3 desktops and 1 laptop) and 1 Macbook Pro. Since I've had my MBP, I've had no connectivity problems whatsoever...

Goods Receipt and Goods Issue - Posting Date and Document Date Problem

Hi All,
I was using SDK to build own add on to insert Posting Date and Document Date under Inventory> Inventory Transactions> Goods Receipt and Inventory> Inventory Transactions> Goods Issue, but the UI Screen Posting Date and Document Date shown current date.
My SAP Business One version was 2007A SP00 PL42 and alreadly upgrade to SP05.
End up result still the same.
Is there someone can help me?

Actually is i call the initialization twice:
Company.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInventoryGenEntry)
Thats what make this problem happened.

RE: Goods issue posting through Migo for Production Order

I have released the production order, when I want to post the goods issue through migo to the concerned order I am getting error saying that material "No components exist but there was stock in the storage location for unresticted use.
I have checked through MMbe transaction.

Are there components in the Production Order? If yes, is the reservation created and movement allowed for the reservation?

Hello,
As we know, when goods are issued, value change is posted to the Stock account in inventory accounting.
I like to clarify what is this stock account. Is it in quantity or amount that the value change is posted? Are both the stock quantity and amount posted?
Is stock account = material document? or the 2 GL accounts shown in Accounting Document in the system where we click that button from the material document screen?

Based on your answer, I would like to confirm that
among other postings generated when Goods is issued, the following information are updated:
1. In Material Document ,Quantity is involved, not amount. This posting results in Reduction of inventory stock.
So, reduction in inventory stock means in quantity terms.
2. Inventory Accounting is about posting of value change ($) to the Stock accounts which are : the Trading Goods GL account and Inventory change GL account, both shown via the 'Accounting Document' button in the screen showing material document.
So, posting to stock accounts means the 2 GL accounts found in accounting document.
Follow-up question:
Which GL account is the COGS? Is it one of the 2 GLs shown in Accounting Document?

Change Log issues - Post Upgrade

Hi Experts,
We are in the process of Upgrading BW from 3.X to BI 7. As part of this we copied our existing Production system into the sand box and basis did the technical upgrade on the same (Sand Box). Later we ran some post upgrade Jobs as part of the SAP defined Upgrade Process.
1) But after the upgrade i can notice that most of the ODS objects, doesn't have 'Change Log' table in the 'Information (Log/Status)' screen.
2) Even when i try to view the change log content in Manage screen, it gives me a pop up to enter the change log table, instead of directly taking me to the selection screen.
3) When i try to activate a request, even that fails with an SQL error 'SAPSQL_EMPTY_TABNAME'.
Is there any process that has to be run to link the Older version change log tables to the corresponding ODSs after Upgrade?
Has anyone come accross similar issues? If yes, how was it solved? All suggestions are invited.

Chek the note : 1059171 which is related to Change log,
I too faced this issue when upgraded to Bi7.0 on SP12, but as soon as SP13 is installed the issue is solved, so I suggest to go for SP 13 for upgrading to Bi7.0.

F110 Issue: Posting orders: 8 generated, 7 completed

Hi,
I am facing issue with F110,
Posting orders: 8 generated, 7 completed.
The Payment Run Log shows a problem with the Form Type.
I have checked SM13 as well and the log shows:

Clearing: Line item 005 in document 6650 1600001334 2012 already cleared.
Finally, can any one help me out that Is there a problem with the Form as per the Payment Run Log or is it because of SM13 log showing Line item cleared???

To analyse the cause of the error:
VA02 --> Key-in Sales Order No. and Hit "Enter" --> Double Click on to Sales Order Line-item --> Tab: Condition --> Sun-Tab: Analysis
on to next screen, For your Condition Type, check what condition records are missing.
This will help you to maintain Relevant Condition Record, to resolve error.
For Example:
In VKOA, G/L might not be maintained for Condition Type: KOFI/ KOFK.
