Arc s (LT18i) updated to ICS but time from network is wrong now
After updating to ICS my phone lost a day and an hour in settings. I have had to cancel automatic updating from phone network and apply a manual time.
Why is this ? Each time I tick the Auto from Network box, the time falls back to UK time, whilst I am actually in Spain.
I take it to mean the second update and test of another SIM shows the time incorrectly still?
Clearly, there is not another setting that can cause this strange error.
My last step would be to inquire with our support in Spain to see if they have a technician to recommend (+34 902 180 576)

Trying to update my apps but the Apple ID is wrong. Changed it in settings and rebooted. Still didn't work.
You need to delete them and then download them from the correct Apple ID. This may require repurchasing paid applications.

(InDesign CS5) I have created hundreds of InDesign documents incorporating images stored on an external USB connected drive. I did a manual back-up to another drive at regular intervals but far from ideal.
I now have a network drive which is properly backed-up. I have copied all of the images and folder structure from the USB connected drive to this new drive.
My question is how I get all of the links in my indd files to point to the new drive. I am aware how to do it one file at a time, but is there a way of doing the same thing over many files/folders at a time?It depends on how you organize your work. If you have one folder for images for a document, relinking one image should alert you that other missing images are in the same folder, but this assumes that images are missing. If the links window sees a clear path to the original location of the images, they aren't missing, so that won't work.
Another thing to try is to select all of the images in the links window and go to the fly-out menu and select Relink To Folder (navigate to the new folder, and you don't even have to select any images by name).
If you store your images in many different folders for the same document, you might want to either package the document to copy all of the images into one folder (you can specify to only copy images if you like) or use the fly-out in the links window (Utilities>Copy Links To…) and select or create a new images folder. -

Why can't I install ios7 after downloading.
With everyone and their iDogs trying to update at the same time, things are gonna be a bit bumpy off the bat trying to update and/or activate.
All anyone can really recommend is to keep trying or wait until a bit later, after the hubub has died down. -
Weird QT issue on Mav: stuttering from disk but ok from network
Issue is just as title implies. File stutters a lot when played from disk but is butter smooth when the same file is played from network
- Mac OS X is a clean install. No significant third party stuff or drivers installed. No crapware. Not even flash.
- Disk seems OK according to SMART status. No perm or disk errors. Some "dd" tests show 90MB/s read speed and ~50MB/s write speed.
- Issue occurs with both one and 2 monitors.
- Alternative video players like MPlayerX and Movist can play the same file on disk just fine.
- I have Obcene ammounts of RAM for a laptop.
Is this a known issue? Am I the only one suffering this weird behavior?

I have been running Dreamweaver since 2008 (CS). I have a server on the local network that I save my work on and remotely connect to it via a mapped network drive W while in Dreamweaver. When Dreamweaver starts it loads via the site the mapped drive contents. It shows the files and folders of clients I am currently working on. Up until yesterday I was able to open a folder in Dreamweaver CC, work on a file and to view it in a browser, I would of course save the current changes and press the F12 key to bring up the browser and display the web page in full screen view. I never used the live view button on the Dreamweaver menu before, I only pressed the F12 key to see the browser in full screen and display the html page.
However since yesterday when I press the F12 key any of my browsers (Firefox 29.01, Internet Explorer 11, Opera (latest), Safari (latest) and Chrome (latest) only open and Time Out.

I have searched online forums
I have uninstalled Dreamweaver CC and re installed it
I again uninstalled and reinstalled Dreamweaver CC and deleted the profile settings
I have contacted Adobe support but they said the F12 key worked so cannot help any more
I still have the same problem.
The only way to view these files in a browser is to right click the file and select open with and select the browser to check it with.
Can anybody help me as I have been running my current set up since 2008 without any issues.Can you verify that the shortcut key is assigned properly for browser preview here:
If it isn't, Click the last option 'Edit Browser List' > edit the settings in the preferences tab:
This will ensure that your keyboard shortcut is mapped properly.
If the setting in 1st screenshot shows the shortcut properly, but still isn't loading, you could try trashing your cache: Deleting a corrupted cache file

I updated my Iphone 4 to the latest IOS5 software and selected to backup to the cloud. This worked a treat. I did the same on my IPAD and this worked to,
I then updated my wifes Iphone 3GS to the same IOS5 software. It said it was backing up the phone and it proceeded to continue with the download. Once the loading of the software was complete, I then went through the process of setting up the iCloud settings on the 3GS phone and selected to merge the data and used my Apple Account, as we share this account.
Now complete the contacts are incorrect, as they phone now has all my contacts on it and my wife's are missing / have been overwritten. This is a major issue as I cannot seem to recover these.
I can plug the phone back into ITunes and run a restore but its telling me to restore to factory settings. Where is the backup iTunes did as part of the software update and or how can I recover the contacts that are relevant to my wifes phone and not mine as she cannot use her phone with my contacts.
I have since turned the contacts off on her phone and removed these so they do not appear and sync with the cloud, but I depserately need to get these back as they are required for her work.

Maybe try down-grading it so you can at least add contacts and change settings? i havent done it but you could try. -

No, it cannot be upgraded to Mountain Lion, but it may be updated to Lion.

Please tell me that how can I get system date & time from network system whose host=135.147.150.9 and port=3128 {It's an address of proxy server). It's urgent; I am very puzzled about it.
When I run Calendar.getInstance().getTime() then it returns instance of Date for client sytem where as my .jar file is run from server and I want to get time of PC who has .jar file.

I’ve tried to update my i-Tunes version after the site suggested I should following my i-Pad Air being plugged into it for the first time. The update seemed successful but the program would not open at all despite switching off the PC and re-starting several times. I then tried wiping the original software from the computer and re-downloading from scratch. Each time I tried the download failed with a message saying “Service “Apple Mobile Device” failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services” At this stage, the only way forward was to “abort” the download. This I have done now four times and the same thing happens. When I did finally manage to get an i-Tunes shortcut on my desktop, the program wouldn’t open saying: “i-Tunes was not installed correctly. Please re-install i-Tunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)” Any ideas to resolve this?

What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. If that is the case then you won't be able to download anything else (including app updates) until you've paid off what you owe : Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
If you aren't getting the 'problem with a previous purchase' message then try logging into your account (not when trying to download something) and see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove the card's details and be able to download updates to your apps : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support -
I am trying to update my time machine backup on time capsule, but time machine keeps trying to create an entirely new backup (evidenced by the 200GB backup size). How can I get time machine to modify my old backup rather than create a new one?
It must have found the old backup corrupt.. so you will more than likely have little choice. You can archive off the old backup if it is still useful.
