Archieving payroll date

Hi,
We are trying to run the HR Archiving but before running the actual archiving (after HR preparation for archiving but before Archiving) payroll data deletes from HRPY_RGDIR table.
We are doing this in test, but are now afraid in doing thin in Production. It should not delete before running the actual archiving.
Please help.

Please check your archiving object specific customizing about deletion setting and store setting.
Check when you execute the write spool list is created, stored and deleted?
In your scenario, i am thinking that you are using delete before store so the data is getting deleted.

look at this tables T588B ,T588C ,T5U8C and transfer your Payroll results,taxes ,arrears.

Payroll Data Extraction - 0HR_PY_1 and BIWMONTH

Hi, I'm hoping someone can provide some clarification on an issue with a payroll data extractor please. I've searched the forums, and looked at the Business Content documentation, but I'm still not clear on one point.
The extractor 0HR_PY_1 (Payroll data) has two selection fields in our version of the DataSource, and these are PERNR and BIWMONTH. It is the BIWMONTH parameter for which I am seeking clarification. Does this allow data to be extracted based upon the calendar month/year that the data was posted into SAP, or does it relate specifically to the calendar year/month of the actual payroll result data. So, if a retrospective payroll change is done in Oct 2010, to an April payroll result, will BIWMONTH contain 10.2010 or 04.2010?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

ALE error while posting payroll data

Hi all,
We are trying to set up payroll posting via ALE interface. We have done the following settings
1. Distribution model setup with filters on for standard bapi's
2. Partner profile setup
3. RFC destination setup
When we try to post payroll data,it was returned with the following errors
       RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6001 and method PRECHECKPAYROLLACCOUNTASSIGN
       The account assignment objects could not be checked
       RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6004 and method CHECK
       The G/L account could not be checked
We verified RFC destination and it is working fine. I have searched all possible links in SCN, but unable to get the solution.
Can someone help in this issue?

Using tcode pc_payresult please check whether the off-cycle payroll is executed again in period 06-2010. If yes then try to post off-cycle payroll separately (PC00_M99_CIPE - Create Posting Run) by entering "Off-Cycle Payroll Run" parameters. May be you will get an error while posting this off-cycle payroll because this payroll is already posted. In this case you will have to reverse the existing off-cycle posting and then post off-cycle payroll again.
Once off-cycle payroll is posted, then you try to post normal monthly payroll.
I hope your problem will be solved by doing the above work out.

Reg: Interface - SAP payroll data to payroll system

I am downloading employee data from SAP to TAB delimited flat files.
For this , i am using logical databases PNP ,Info type P0002 and tables CATSDB.
In selection screen, i am getting the file name by using PARAMETRERS.
1.Then at selection-screen , I am calling a method <b>CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>FILE_OPEN_DIALOG</b> for display a file open dialog .
then using GET , i am collecting the reocords into an internal table and then downloading using CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'.
MY DOUBTS ARE
1.this is an interface program,as the interface run, a log file should be produced.how to do this???
2.I am using CAll Method CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>FILE_OPEN_DIALOG . is there an alternate function for this???
3.Give me more information on CAll Method CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>FILE_OPEN_DIALOG and RP_PROVIDE_FROM_LAST ?????
4.Payroll data downloaded from SAP must be separated into different files depending on receiving payroll system and business unit. This is because the data file will be specific to payroll system and business unit. The file will however have the same format .
i.e.From : SAP SYSTEM
    To:various systems
        1.PBHR
        2.MICROPAY
        3.PAYFLEX
        4.UNIPAY
So what conditions i need to put???

Generate a log in a internal table and use the method to download the data into a file. This will be your log file.

This will open a dialog where the user can choose which file needs to be read. This is the latest method that SAP has given, not sure why are you looking for alternatives.
3. Give me more information on CAll Method CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>FILE_OPEN_DIALOG and RP_PROVIDE_FROM_LAST ?????
Sames as above.
4. The conditions you need to know probably from your functional consultants as to which data needs to go to which system.

HR Payroll Data Migration from 4.6C to ECC Upgrade

We are going to Upgrade our 4.6c R/3 system which includes HR to ECC6.
After this upgrade we going to start the Data migration of all data inclduing HR payroll from 4.6c to ECC.
1).Can anybody advise what are the options for loading Payroll data from 46c to ECC ..? After Payroll data migration we must be able to see all the Payroll results from the previous system.
2) is there any standard programs availble for Payroll data migration ..?
Also if anybody have any info/links on Payroll/HR data migration please help to advise.

I could not find the mentioned post "HR Upgrade". Please let me know the details of the "HR Upgrade" details which need to be kept in mind during upgrading R/3 4.7 to ECC 6.0
Yes, we have got the list of "Modification Objects" using the SPAU. Please confirm that during our upgrade, we just need to work on these objects which were changed/repaired by us according to our business need.
And, apart from that, please let me know should I need to worry about any OSS notes specific to 4.7, which is not applied to our system and got released after the ECC 6.0 Enhancement Release 3.
I understand that if we have a system that has the Patch and SP level as in our production system and do the upgrade to ECC 6.0 all the HR functionalities will be automatically taken care. Please confirm.

Tcode : AOBJ ...search for the appropriate object.
Search for RV_LIKP please make sure of the object.> double click on that>customizing settings--> ask basis person to maintain proper settings viz Content repository,logical path and required fields.
Assuming its done. Go to tcode SARA -->Give object name -->write select proper variants.
execute.. (In test mode if doing first time)...
For every object there are preprocessing program,write, read,delete and reload programs first and last may not be available for every object.
More Information read the Information attached to it " Click on symbol "i".
For custom table check demo example SBOOKA, SBOOKR,SBOOKD report programes.

Payroll data source error in rsa3

I have a requirement that I have to extract payroll data source 0hr_py_01 , But when I check the records in rsa3 tcode , I got the message 0 data records selected.
So I gone through different forums , I used the sap notes 672514 & 397208. I used P_BAS_ALL in ALEREMOTE User profile but no use. Plz solve the problem.
can any one guide me plz

thank you for your replies, i checked the t-code pc_payresult , this does'nt have any data. in rsa3 i found the records for 0hr_py_1 .
this rsa3 problem was solved by giving authorization by basis. by using su53 t-code
can you suggest any solution thank you.

Receiving net payroll data from 3rd party (ADP)

We are currently outsourcing 3rd party payroll to ADP. Master Data and Time Wage Type IDOCs are transmitted. After payroll processing, G/L data is downloaded through ADP Infolink G/L interface website as a .csv file.
We want to receive G/L data back from ADP in standard SAP IDOC format. I have posed this question to ADP support with no luck.
Has anyone imported G/L net payroll data back from ADP as an IDOC? Is this considered a different product than web-based Infolink G/L?

PCP - How to simulate upcoming months payroll data

Hi,
I'm try to get plan personnel cost for the year 2008 using the payroll data of 2007. We only have the Jan-Jul 2007 payroll data in the system. I used the program RPCIPE00 with "Cost planning data" checked and "Name of payroll program" as "HTRCALC0" with a variant. But it only works till Jul 2007 which is the latest calculated payroll date.

Run a Payroll simulation for a future pay period with the Document type 'T' - Test Run and then select the Cost Planning checkbox using the program RPCIPE00. It stores the cost planning data in the PCL5 cluster tables. This data will them be used in the data collection for the forecasting.

No Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month for Country Grouping 10 and 13

Hi Gurus,
I get the error "No Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month for Country Grouping 10 and 13" when extracting data for 0PY_C02. I then added the "End Date of For Period" in the SBIW in the Payroll systen activity "Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month". I am still getting the same error???
Also I do have data in the cube from that extraction, but when I run a query I get no data?? Is this due to the above error?

Hi,
The extractor runs without errors in RSA3 in the source system. The error is red with the test of "No Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month for Country Grouping 10 and 13". I completed the SBIW task to set this in the source system but I still get the same error?
Any other ideas?

As per the settings in the SBIW code in R/3 , we can go with a single Time based assignment for a Country at a time.So we can not use both IN Period and FOR period for the same country code.
For more information, refer the below path.

Under human resources.....go to payroll and assignment of payroll data to BW
if you do not get...use Cntl + F and enter payroll..
you will get
