ARCHIVE ERROR in Open Form

Hi,
When I used the 'OPEN_FORM' function module I get the sy-subrc as '7' (ARCHIVE_ERROR). But it happens during the printing. It will works well during the print preview.

Somewhere i heard that we have to create a sybolic link with the java plugin. Where can i find that java plugin in our system and to where i have to crete the link.from where you heard that, it is required ?

While i try to open my form i get the following error.
The server thrown an exception (Exception from HRResult :0x80010105(RPC_E_ServerFault)

Im not sure, but I think that this will be due not properly release of com object (because this error belongs to coms obj.).
By opening form you may go through lines in code and check where the error occurs. SBO is known with problem of releasing object, where object = nothing is not for SBO enough. Try to release the object as
System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(obj)
obj = Nothing
GC.Collect()

When opening Forms designer it gives me an error with the file C:\oracle\ora91DEV\forms90\formNLw.res

I have installed vision database r12(12.0.4) on hp ux (11.31).
I am able to open the login page but when trying to access any form it gives below mention error.
FRM-92101: There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration.
I have checked below mention log file.

"Don't Send" Error on opening form in Adobe Reader 8.0

I am having Dynmic XML Form(XFA based).Once it get filled and reopened in Adobe Reader 8.0. Following Error occurs. Form is designed in Adobe LC ES2 Desginer.
Its working fine in Adobe Reader 10

FRM92101 error when open forms in Oracle 12.1.1 EBS as SYSADMIN

Hi all,
I just installed Oracle 12.1.1 EBS environment on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 64 bit OS.
Everything works fine until I login to OAM as SYSADMIN and try to create a new user and when the form opens, it fails with FRM-92101 errors.
I installed latest java plugin for Internet Explorer 7 browser and hold down the CTRL key while open the form to allow it to open and to bypass popup blocker.

Error while opening form in parent currency

I have created a form where i input the data at entity currency for various entities.
I need to view data at consolidated level in parent currency.
But each time after i select the parent entity and then select <Parent currency>, the form does not open and gives an error as follows:

As search from Google and forums get the same issue with RHEL, issue seems to be with some library.
We are having other testing instances on the same server and I am able to open there forms.
Is any issue with library or any configuration requiring after installation?

I have a customer having problem after certain number of users connecting to the application.
These are the following setup in the environment:
1. OAS 10.1.2.1
2. Windows 2003 Standard Edition SP1 32 Bit
3. Memory 2GB
They are running the application using the Oracle Form, connecting through the application using Internet Explorer.
Number of users might connect to the application are around 42 users in application server #1 and 10 users in application server #2.
Recently they reported that they experiencing the FRM-92101 in random fashion in all clients computer.
I did a check on the windows task manager and I can see that frmweb.exe process will consume around 17MB - 68MB.
This is random, not all process consuming up to 68MB, some of it will be in the avarage of 30MB to 50MB.
I checked the registry for the desktop heap setting which is in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> System -> Current Control Set -> Control -> Session Manager -> SubSystems. There is a key named Windows and inside here there is a variable called SharedSection. Currently the value is set to 2048, 3072, 2048
From what I know this setting should be enough for around 40 users.
I noticed when 42 users were connecting to app server #1, the physical memory available is only around 140MB.
This FRM-92101 error is not only happening to app server #1 but also #2 which only handles 10 users maximum.
From the information above, I have some questions:
1. What other areas that I need to check for this?
2. What other configuration I can increase so this error is not happening anymore?
3. If I check on opmnctl status, I can only see 1 OC4J home and OC4J_BI_FORMS. Does increasing the number of OC4J can suppress this error?
Please give me the enlightment.

I have installed vision database r12(12.0.4) on hp ux (11.31).
I am able to open the login page but when trying to access any form it gives below mention error.
FRM-92101: There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration.
I have checked below mention log file.
/devbackup/applvis/inst/apps/VIS_reeldev/logs/ora/10.1.3/opmn/forms_default_group_1/formsstd.out

Error in opening forms

Hi,
I created a new form and I am trying to run the form in the instance. But I click on the form for it to open, I get an error message
DEVELOPER ERROR: Invalid window BLOCKNAME passed to set_window_position.
I read in a blog that the changes have to be done at the Pre form trigger as
app_window.set_window_position('BLOCKNAME', 'WINDOW');
I did the changes with the form's blockname instead of the BLOCKNAME and my form's window name instead of the WINDOW.
But still when i try opening the form. The same error pops up with my form's block name instead of the BLOCKNAME in the error message.
Please can anybody help me with this???

We need more information from you before we can offer any potential fixed. Please post your Forms version (eg; 10.1.2 not 10g) and please post a sample of your code that is causing the error and which trigger you have this code in.

Error in opening form

Hi,
I am getting following error while i am trying to open the form.
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error (WWV-11230)
before that this form was working properly.

APP-PAY-07114 error while open forms

Hello everyone,
I have added a function in custom.pll and compiled using f60gen and then when i tried to open the form, i am getting the following error message.
APP-PAY-07114: Oracle error ORA-01115: IO error reading block.....
Please give me some suggestions.

The function which i have written does some calculations when i save the form. Below is the code.

Getting Error when opening form

I have installed E-Business Suite on OEL 5.
I am trying to open the E-business suite, but as I open the Forms it gives the following error.
FRM : 92101 failure in the forms server startup.
Java Exception oracle.forms.net.connectionexception no response from runtime process.
On further checking the following log
10/04/25 21:49:17 Forms session <2> aborted: runtime process failed during startup with errors /u02/ebs/VIS/apps/tech_st/10.1.2/bin/frmweb: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have already tried installing the required rpm and bounced the Middle Tier Server.

Clt.badXML error when opening form

I get clt.badXML error when trying to open a form.
The form seems to still work because I get email notifications. I just can't open the form from the FormsCentral application.

Thanks. We had a bug whereby setting a filter on the results table of a non-English form caused this problem. The bug has been fixed, as of yesterday, but we'll need to clear the filter on your document to get you out of this state. I'll let you know once this has been done and then you can re-apply your filter as required.

Error on opening Form in Forms builder

Hi,
I am getting the following error when I am trying to open a custom form which was developed by someone else.
FRM 10102: Cannot attach PL/SQL library <library name i.e. .pll>. This library attachment will be lost if the module is saved.
This .pll I saved in the FORMS60_PATH .
I tried opening this .pll from form builder also and i got the following error:
FRM-10043: Cannot open file.
Can anyone help me with this?

Hi,
I'd suggest to re-attach the library and make sure to remove the "path" from it (there is a pop-up asking for this option).
If you don't, the form is looking for the library in the absolute path attached, not on the location defined in FORMS_PATH.
