  • System Landscape Test Connection Error.

    Hi,
    My I tried to configure the system landscape for my portal system. The backend system is an xRPM. When I test the connection, I get an error under WEB AS since there is not service mentioned under Web AS Path, it only leads to /sap/bc/
    I checked the transaction "sicf " at the backend system, but i donot know which service to activate at hte backend and specify at the portal too.
    Should there be a specific service for xRPM systems, or is there a generic service that can be activated.
    Please Suggest..!!

    Hi Eduardo,
    Thanks for your reply..!!
    I checked what you mentioned and these are the results:

    /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui -What I get is  = /sap/bc/ (no 'gui' found)
    /sap/public/ping -

    I tried running the transaction SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL any how but the transaction does not exist

  • Test connection error

    Hi all,
    I have implemented B1iSN and it has been working well for 2 months in a productive environment, but recently I get an error when I try to test the connection from the event sender configuration, the error is HTTP/1.1 401 Not authorized or HTTP/1.1 503 Service not available. The error occurs in every landscape conected to the B1iSN server.
    The B1iSN server has the firewall turn off and there's nothing that can blocked the connection (ping is working fine). When testing the connection from B1iSN server to the landscape it connects successfully.
    Because of this issue, the SEVT table maintains the records without sending it to the server and the integrations are not working.
    B1iSN server version is 8.8 PL08
    Could anyone tell me what's the matter or how can I solve this trouble?
    Thanks

  • Content Repository vs Archive Link

    We are using a third party content repository to store SRM attachments. We configured this through OACT OAC0 transactions. We are able to send attachments and retrieve from this content management system fine.
    However, when the Content Repository is down for maintenance, if attachments are made in SRM, they are getting lost. Is there a way to queue up the failed attachments and reprocess?
    Thanks,
    SG

    Hello,
    You can achieve it with small alteration in your current program.
    In transaction OAC0 you will be mentioning Physical & basic path.... This basic path will help in staging the attachment till your archive server is up-running.
    It is not advisable to do any changes with current functionality of storing attachment but instead you can do all the maintanence activities at archive server (content repository) during off peak hours or weekends. Any activities at archive server will not take much time so you can plan to have it during off peak hours or weekends.
    Hope your question is answered.

  • Error -maintain archiving parameters for outgoing documents in archive link

    Hi,
    I am trying to archive an outgoing document from SAP i.e. an invoice to a content repository using archive link and getting the below error:
    Maintain archiving parameter(s) for output type RD00 (appl. V3)
    Message no. VN096
    Diagnosis
    At the time of output determination, the archiving parameters for output type RD00 (application V3) were incorrectly maintained in Customizing.
    Additional information:
    SAP object:
    Archiving object:
    Procedure
    Maintain the archiving parameters and repeat output determination for the required document.
    Kindly help as to from which transaction I can maintain archiving parameters for this transaction ???
    With Regards
    Neha

    Hi,
    Which storage device are you using? I can only speculate the problem. Ok. So output type is configured properly. Can you check the object type for your document type in Transaction code OAC3. Check it should be VBRK. If it is not then change it to VBRK. Now go to transcation code OAD5 and check every thing is configured there or not. If it is all done then it should work. I presume that all basic customization is done in your system.

    one change which i have observed in this trace is .. this trace is showing trace agent as SAP Web application server ... ideally it should show user agent :SAP HTTP
    Please suggest me some solution.

    Dear all,
    my issue is resolved.I solved my issue myself
    solution: SAP sends HTTP request in the form of URL like
    http://serverip:port/GET /Default.aspx?serverInfo&pVersion=0045&contRep=FD HTTP/1.0
    Now your response should contain string  contRep="FD"
    dont forget double quotes on repository name coz SAP program matches string with double quotes. if you will return value like this contRep=FD
    this will through error.
    Thanks

  • Read and write data from content repository .

    Hi All,
    We are using content repository to store some document and images on web center server .
    So we have created/setup a content repository on web center .
    Please proivde me some documnet /wiki page to get some idea how can i read and write date in
    content repository .
    You are most welocme to provide some idea /suggestion .
    Thanks,
    Arun.

    Have you already configured webcenter spaces so it can use content server?
    Have you installed the content server seperatly from webcenter or as a part of the webcenter installation?
    Check if you have the webcenter spaces component installed in content server because without i don't think it will work...
    If you already have configured UCM to work with spaces it's quiet easy.
    From your groupspace, open the settings page of your groupspace. Go to the services tab. In the left hand side you can enable the documents services. WHen you have done that, you are able to add the document services taskflows to your pages. Just go to a page in your pagegroup and edit it. Open the resource catalog and you will find some extra taskflows you can add.
    If you haven't configured UCM and webcenter to work together, here some steps that will help you:
    * Integrating UCM with Spaces
         * They both need to use the same LDAP store.
         * Since there is no LDAP server available, we choose for embedded WLS LDAP.
         * Integrating the ucm into apache
              * Stop UCM
              * In /oracle/product/wls10320/WebCenter/ucm/config/config.cfg, check the SocketHostAddressSecurityFilter to contain 127.0.0.1
              * Add the SocketHostAddressSecurityFilter to /oracle/product/wls10320/WebCenter/ucm/admin/bin/intradoc.cfg
              * Add to /oracle/product/wls10320/WebTier/instances/instance1/config/OHS/ohs1/httpd.conf
                   include /oracle/product/wls10320/WebCenter/ucm/data/users/apache22/apache.conf
              * Change the mod_wl_ohs.conf file to
                   <IfModule weblogic_module>
                         WebLogicHost localhost
                         WebLogicPort 7001
                         Debug ON
                         WLLogFile /tmp/weblogic.log
                   </IfModule>

              * Restart UCM & WebTier
              * Test URL: http://yourServer:7777/idc
         * Configure the Identity Store for UCM & WebCenter
              * Set the password for the embedded ldap in WLS
                   Console => Domain Name => Security tab => Embedded LDAP tab => reset credentials
              * Restart AdminServer
              * Stop UCM
              * Add the following to /oracle/product/wls10320/WebCenter/ucm/config/jps-config.xml
                      <serviceInstance name="idstore.oid" provider="idstore.ldap.provider">

  • Linked Document Repository

    Can linked documents be moved from one repository to another?
    Example:
    Goods receipt attachments (document class FAX, document type ZMMIGR, content repository S1, object type BUS2017)
    Content repository S1 is Sales Documents Archive.
    Content repository M1 Purchasing Documents Archive would be a more logical storage for Goods Receipt attachments.
    Can the documents be moved to the M1 repository while still retaining the link to the Good Receipt?

    You can only remove write access from notes and it will restic the user to upload file. However this restiction might increase the problem because users will not be able to eidt notes. Therefore hiding button would be more appropriate.
    Another option would be in System Setting you can set block file extension as attachments. Add all possible extension type which a user can add to Notes and it will not allow the user upload attachment.

  • Content Server / Content Repository / Archive Link and co.

    Hi,
    i have installed a content server on an external Windows 2003 Server Plattform using MAXDB. The Server is now running and working properly. The test of the content repositories were positive too. Now im a bit confused about all the actions which are required to make a content rep known to SAP System via Archive Link. Is it correct to start the content server service in the SCIF transaction? Do i need to perform the Archive Link Workflow and Costumizing wizard. Which tables have to be altered?
    I would  be very greatful if anyone could tell me the steps which need to be done in order to succeed.
    Thanks in advance Christian

    Hi,
    Is it correct to start the content server service in the SCIF transaction?
    Not required
    the actions which are required to make a content rep known to SAP System via Archive Link.
    Create a content repository  in OAC0 using document area Archivelink and storage type HTTP Content Server.
    To use full functionality of  Archlink, other set of Archivelink configurations required one of them e.g.OAC3 to use this repository to be used by business objects.
