Archive new and changed PO documents

Hi all,
we use SRM 7.0 extended classic scenario. We like to archive the PO documents (new and changed) and will send the PO's e.g. as a PDF document to an optical archive system. What we must to do in detail to archieve this target.
Kind Regards

Hello,
Most of the archive servers available in the market to support SAP sys have the functionality of - Displaying archived documents via SAP application.
It looks, like you want to send the PDF documents to Archive server from SRM SAP system and display the same via different application Archive server.
For this requirement, you've to check with Archive server partner on facilitating this option.
I know in OpenText (IXOS) you can achieve this by installing component  Content server. This Content server acts as a Metadata repositories for the archived data stored in archive server (IXOS server). User can display the archived document via internet browser.
-Thanks,
Ajay

  • What's New and Changed in Premiere Pro CS5.5 - Free Course!

    Hi All,
I just wanted to point out some new video training, totally free of charge, called, "What's New and Changed in Premiere Pro CS5.5." Todd Kopriva flew all the way to Austria's "Video2Brain" studios to record these detailed tutorials and I think they're very good. Have a look gang, and see what you think!
    Link: http://www.video2brain.com/en/products-117.htm#/content?t=2

Thanks, Todd, much appreciated. Such information is always welcomed by all users (at all levels), I'm sure.

  • New and changed features in Adobe Media Encoder CS5

Someone said on the Premiere Pro forum that they didn't know what was new and changed in AME CS5. So I wrote this:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/premiereprotraining/2010/10/new-and-changed-features-in-adobe-media -encoder-cs5.html

I would like to also add that AME CS5 does a much better job at deinterlacing than CS4, the resulting files are much sharper, especially with text/titles.

  • How can I get Time Machine to only backup new and changed files?

Time machine is backing up more than just new and changed files and is filling up my back up disk too fast.  How can I change it so that it will only back up the new or changed files instead of the whole drive?  I used to have my backups go back months, but now it is backing up only a couple days back, since there is no room left on my back up hard drive.  Each back up is like 400 gigs, instead of just the amount of the changed or new files.
Thanks for any ideas or help!
    kt

Thank you Eric!  I did go look at this info and tried to do a full reset of TM and I am still getting full backups of my HD instead of just new/changed files.  The weird thing is that I have 9 BU's from over the last 2 days and they all seem to be around 415 gigs and my backup HD is only 750 gigs!  I don't get it.  It shows that I have around 75 gigs of free space on that 750 gig drive.  It doesn't make sense.
So I am having the same problems even after doing the full reset of TM. I am using Mavericks 10.9.5 which they don't talk about in this info.
Does anyone have any further ideas on this?  I don't understand how I could possibly have that many full BU's on my HD that is only 750 gigs.
    Thank you,

  • New and changed edition of a book in a different size: best route?

I have a book in InDesign CS6 in a single InDesign document. The book is currently layed out as A4 portrait (297mm x 210mm) but that limits my professional printing options. A second edition of the book will be written with changes and additional materials. I plan to keep the old InDesign document for the first edition and create a new InDesign document for the second edition. That document will then have 280mmx216mm (or 8.5in x 11in) size with a gutter margin implemented.
Now, I want to start the new edition from the existing content of the first edition. So, I have a couple of options:
    - Create a file copy and change document layout from that one
    - Create a new document with the correct size and do some sort of export-from-old/import-to-new (idml?)
I've started with the first route. I changed the masters (2). I tried layout rules but that became a mess (my lack of expertise I guess) and also when I had some pages that I tried to reapply a master to, instead of applying it, that action inseerted two new blank pages based on the master, not what I want. So I restarted, leaving layout rules for what they are, changed the masters, but the result is that all the text frames have to be reset to the Master's size by hand. I can reapply the master, but the text frame keeps its old size.
I must add that my document has something like 170 diagrams, some inline, some anchored, some floating that need to go over to the new one. Preferably not by hand.
If I want to create a new document with the smallest possible change of carrying over any problems of the original and the smallest amount of work to get to the new version (in the ultimate case I have no problem redoing all the 170 diagram placements or changing the size of all text frames on each page by hand, but I'd rather not) what can I do?

There is always going to be some manual work involved in reformatting a book like this, especially with the images, particularly those that are not anchored and may need to be repositioned. Layout Adjustment can help a lot -- I use it for this from time to time -- if you turn it on before making any changes, then make sure the margin guides are set to the size of the main text block before you attempt to make any change to document setup.
Once the margins are correctly setup you can use Document Setup to change the page size, and then go to each master page and change the margin settings to what they should be, if different, and to move master objects that you would not be overriding. That should get you 80-90% of the way to your new layout, and you can save the file with a new name. You want to avoid reapplying master pages that have objects that you've overridden.

  • I have a problem with syncing my calander with outlook 2007 for iPhone 5s, ipad 1st and 3rd generation. Contacts work find, and new and changed enteries in outlook all go to the devices. Device Cal changes do not appear in Outlook

Over the past year or so, I have been unable to fully sync my iPads with outlook 2007 calander. Now I have an iPhone 5s, and really need the calander fixed. Contacts seem to sync in both directions, and any new or changed cal enteries in outlook appear on the device. The problem is that any new or changed calander enteries do not make ip back to outlook 2007, so there is only one-way syncing (down to the device) but no return, for calander entries.
I am now using the latest itunes, which I followed the recommendation delete all apple stuff, and then reinstall, I have used scanpst, built new PSts, etc, am I am stuck.
    Not using icloud either.
Not using wi-fi, purely USB cabale sync
    Running on Windows XP, SP3
Now IOS 7.0.2 on iPhone and 1 iPad (3rd gen)

    Kept searching, found this: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23321067#23321067
Bottom line: if you follow the recommendation to delte all itunes software and re-install, it don't work (at least for me and many others).
However, purge the data (certain data) and the data syncs.
I think the folder is Apple Computer\Preferences and it needs to be purged.
To be sure, maybe someone can rename the folder on their system, then run itunes and see if it syncs ok.
The idea is to figure out the least minimum stuff that needs to be touched in order to get a working solution than having to purge all Apple software and then rebuild it all over again.
I had purged other files out of inpatience, but did not want to purge entire folders because I had Safari, and Quicktime software, and did not want to wipe that out, Plus there were software downloads and device backups in some of those folders. But I really believe it is the preferences folder, and I would like someone with the same problem to try it and verify it.
Once the preferences folder is removed/renamed (taken out of the picture) pluggin in the device and go to the INFO (I think that is the iTunes tab) page where you select calanders, contacts, email accounts, etc. They will all be unchecked (because you wiped out the preferences) and you need to reselect them. Then run your sync.
What I had done in testing was create something on the device, and modify something else on the device looking to see what got up to Outlook. I got the good news that something good was happening when I got the conflict message from iTunes, and it showed both Outlook and iPhone, showing the calander entry I changed on the iPhone. Never got that before. After the sync, everything looked good the few test entries were uploaded to outlook.
Now, My Cal is 10L+ enteries, and I am doing 100% sync (I don't select the option to ignore enteries over x days). I also have 1400+ contacts. Before this change, the sync of contacts & calanders took a couple of hours (and only operated ONE-WAY, now the syn is taking less than 5 minutes for this one step.
I am a Windows XP Professional user, x32 bit system, using Outlook 2007, iTunes 11.1.1.11, I am standalone (no exchange server) and have about 10 email accounts (mainly POP) defined. I am using only one calander in outlook, but I have Outlook and 2 gmail calanders in the iPhone.
I am running iPhone 5s and iPad 3rd Gen both with IOS 7.0.2 and a 1st generation iPad with the latest version of IOS 5.x.
If anyone else has success, I'd like to hear, along with your experience.

  • Can we use IDOC_INPUT_ Message type for creating and changing the document

    Hi,
I have a requirement to create or change the requisition data.
Can I use IDOC_INPUT_PREQCR01 function module for both the purpose.
OR shall I go for custom function module by using BAPI function modules to create or change the data.
Please help me in this regarding.
    Answers will be rewarded.
    Thank you.
    Eswar

    Hello Eswar
You could use the IDoc processing function module if you had the data already available in the IDoc specific format (which is unlikely). This would mean you are receiving the IDoc data from another SAP system.
Instead, check the BAPI explorer (transaction BAPI) if you can find an appropriate BAPI.

  • Having purchased and installed pages after finishing my 30 day trial I now can't save changes to documents, it keeps saying that my trial is over and I need a serial number?  Never got a serial number, any ideas how to rectify this?

Hi, having purchased and installed pages after my 30 day trial had finished I am now unable to save any changes to documents I had created in the trial version.  It says I need a serial number, which I never got when I purchased the pages app.  Does anyone kno how to rectify this, I would be very grateful for any help as I'm currently writing up my thesis and am now unable

Hi, I had the same problem and I found that you don't need a serial number anymore. Here is what I did:
(1)I went to Applications fodder on my Mac. (You can navigate to the Application folder from 'New Finder Window.')
    (2) Deleted Pages (installed as part of the free  free trial version) from the Applications Folder. Also deleted 'IWorks' from the Applications folder.
    (3) Started AppStore.
    (4) Clicked on  Purchases.
    (5) Clicked on Pages.
    (6) Clicked Install.
    (4) repeated (5) and (6) for Numbers and Keynote

  • Differnce between AT NEW AND ON CHANGE OF

    Hi,
Differnce between AT NEW AND ON CHANGE OF
    Iam waiting foryour reply
    Thanks & Regards
    Raja Sekhar.T

    Hai Raja
    check the following Documents
    1. AT NEW f.
    2. AT END OF f.
    3. AT FIRST.
    4. AT LAST.
    5. AT fg.
    Effect
In a LOOP which processes a dataset created with EXTRACT , you can use special control structures for control break processing. All these structures begin with AT and end with ENDAT . The sequence of statements which lies between them is then executed if a control break occurs.
You can use these key words for control break processing with extract datasets only if the active LOOP statement is proceesing an extract dataset.
The control level structure with extract datasets is dynamic. It corresponds exactly to the sort key of the extract dataset, i.e. to the order of fields in the field group HEADER by which the extract dataset was sorted .
At the end of a control group ( AT END OF , AT LAST ), there are two types of control level information between AT and ENDAT :
If the sort key of the extract dataset contains a non-numeric field h (particularly in the field group HEADER ), the field CNT(h) contains the number of control breaks in the (subordinate) control level h .
For extracted number fields g (see also ABAP/4 number types ), the fields SUM(g) contain the relevant control totals.
    Notes
The fields CNT(h) and SUM(g) can only be addressed after they have been sorted. Otherwise, a runtime error may occur.
The fields CNT(h) and SUM(g) are filled with the relevant values for a control level at the end of each control group ( AT END OF , AT LAST ), not at the beginning ( AT FIRST , AT NEW ).
When calculating totals with SUM(g) , the system automatically chooses the maximum field sizes so that an overflow occurs only if the absolute value area limits are exceeded.
You can also use special control break control structures with LOOP s on internal tables.
    Variant 1
    AT NEW f.
    Variant 2
    AT END OF f.
    Effect
f is a field from the field group HEADER . The enclosed sequence of statements is executed if
the field f occurs in the sort key of the extract dataset (and thus also in the field group HEADER ) and
the field f or a superior sort criterion has a different value in the current LOOP line than in the prceding ( AT NEW ) or subsequent ( AT END OF ) record of the extract dataset.
    Example
    DATA: NAME(30),
          SALES TYPE I.
    FIELD-GROUPS: HEADER, INFOS.
    INSERT: NAME  INTO HEADER,
            SALES INTO INFOS.
    LOOP.
      AT NEW NAME.
        NEW-PAGE.
      ENDAT.
      AT END OF NAME.
        WRITE: / NAME, SUM(SALES).
      ENDAT.
    ENDLOOP.
    Notes
If the extract dataset is not sorted before processing with LOOP , no control level structure is defined and the statements following AT NEW or AT END OF are not executed.
Fields which stand at hex zero are ignored by the control break check with AT NEW or AT END OF . This corresponds to the behavior of the SORT statement, which always places unoccupied fields (i.e. fields which stand at hex zero) before all occupied fields when sorting extract datasets, regardless of whether the sort sequence is in ascending or descending order.
    Variant 3
    AT FIRST.
    Variant 4
    AT LAST.
    Effect
Executes the relevant series of statements just once - either on the first loop pass (with AT FIRST ) or on the last loop pass (with AT LAST ).
    Variant 5
    AT fg.
    Addition
    ... WITH fg1
    Effect
This statement makes single record processing dependent on the type of extracted record.
The sequence of statements following AT fg are executed whenever the current LOOP record is created with EXTRACT fg (in other words: when the current record is a fg record).
    Addition
    ... WITH fg1
    Effect
Executes the sequence of statements belonging to AT fg WITH fg1 only if the record of the field group fg in the dataset is immediately followed by a record of the field group fg1 .
    Basic form
    ON CHANGE OF f.
    Addition
    ... OR f1
    Effect
Executes the processing block enclosed by the " ON CHANGE OF f " and " ENDON " statements whenever the contents of the field f change (control break processing).
Normally, you use the statement to manipulate database fields during GET events or SELECT / ENDSELECT processing.
    Note
There are special control structures for processing control breaks in LOOP s on internal tables or extract datasets AT ).
ON CHANGE OF is unsuitable for recognizing control levels in loops of this type because it always creates a global auxiliary field which is used to check for changes. This global auxiliary field can only be changed in the relevant ON CHANGE OF statement. It is not reset when the processing goes into loops or subroutines, so unwanted effects can occur if the loop or subroutine is executed again. Also, since it is set to its initial value when created (like any other field), any ON CHANGE OF processing will be executed after the first test, unless the contents of the field concerned happen to be identical to the initial value.
    Example
    TABLES T100.
    SELECT * FROM T100 WHERE SPRSL = SY-LANGU AND
                             MSGNR < '010'
                       ORDER BY PRIMARY KEY.
      ON CHANGE OF T100-ARBGB.
        ULINE.
        WRITE: / '**', T100-ARBGB, '**'.
      ENDON.
      WRITE: / T100-MSGNR, T100-TEXT.
    ENDSELECT.
Displays all messages with their numbers in the logon language, provided the number is less than '010'.
Each time the message class changes, it is output.
    Addition
    ... OR f1
    Effect
Also executes the code whenever the contents of the field f1 changes.
You can use this addition several times.
    Example
    Logical database F1S
    TABLES: SPFLI, SFLIGHT, SBOOK.
    GET SBOOK.
      ON CHANGE OF SPFLI-CARRID   OR
                   SPFLI-CONNID   OR
                   SFLIGHT-FLDATE.
        ULINE.
        WRITE: /5 SPFLI-CARRID, SPFLI-CONNID,
                5 SFLIGHT-FLDATE, SPFLI-FLTIME,
                5 SFLIGHT-SEATSMAX, SFLIGHT-SEATSOCC.
      ENDON.
      WRITE: / SBOOK-CUSTOMID.
The code between ON CHANGE OF and ENDON is executed only if at least one of the fields SPFLI-CARRID , SPFLI-CONNID or SFLIGHT-FLDATE has changed, i.e. there is a different flight connection (which also has bookings).

  • Execution times and other issues in changing TextEdit documents

(HNY -- back to terrorize everyone with off-the-wall questions)
--This relates to other questions I've asked recently, but that may be neither here nor there.
--Basically, I want to change a specific character in an open TextEdit document, in text that can be pretty lengthy. But I don't want pre-existing formatting of the text to change.
--For test purposes the front TextEdit document is simply an unbroken string of letters (say, all "q's") ranging in number from 5 and upwards. Following are some of the results I've gotten:
--1) Using a do shell script routine (below), the execution is very fast, well under 0.1 second for changing 250 q's to e's and changing the front document. The problem is that the formatting of the first character becomes the formatting for the entire string (in fact, for the entire document if there is subsequent text). So that doesn't meet my needs, although I certainly like the speed.
    --SCRIPT 1
    tell application "TextEdit"
set T to text of front document
set Tnew to do shell script "echo " & quoted form of T & " | sed 's/q/e/g'"
set text of front document to Tnew
    end tell
    --END SCRIPT 1
--The only practical way I've found to change a character AND maintain formatting is the "set every character where it is "q" to "e"" routine (below). But, for long text, I've run into a serious execution speed problem. For example, if the string consists of 10 q's, the script executes in about 0.03 second. If the string is 40 characters, the execution is 0.14 second, a roughly linear increase. If the string is 100 characters, the execution is 2.00 seconds, which doesn't correlate to a linear increase at all. And if the string is 250 characters, I'm looking at 70 seconds. At some point, increasing the number of string characters leads to a timeout or stall. One interesting aspect of this is that, if only the last 4 characters (example) of the 250-character string are "q", then the execution time is again very quick.
    --SCRIPT 2
    tell application "TextEdit"
set T to text of front document
    tell text of front document
set every character where it is "q" to "e"
    end tell
    end tell
    --END SCRIPT 2
--Any insight into this issue (or workaround) will be appreciated.
--In the real world, I most often encounter the issue when trying to deal with spaces in long text, which can be numerous.

OK, Camelot, helpful but maddening. Based on your response. I elected to look at this some more, even though I'm stuck with TextEdit on this project. Here's what I found, not necessarily in the order I did things:
    1) I ran your "repeat" script on my usual machine (2.7 PPC with 10.4.6)) and was surprised to consisently get about 4.25 seconds -- I didn't think it should matter, but I happened to run it with Script Debugger.
    2) Then, curious as to what a slower processor speed would do, I ran it at ancient history speed -- a 7500 souped up to 700 MHz. On a 10.4.6 partition, the execution time was about 17 seconds, but on a 10.3.6 partition it was only about 9.5 seconds. (The other complication with this older machine is that it uses XPostFacto to accommodate OS X.) And I don't have Script Debugger for 10.3.x, so I ran the script in Script Editor on that partition.
    3) That got me wondering about Script Editor vs. Script Debugger, so (using 10.4.6) I ran the script on both the old machine and my (fast) usual machine using Script Editor. On the old machine, it was somewhat faster at about 14 seconds. But, surprise!, on the current machine it took twice as long at 8.6 seconds. The story doesn't end here.
(BTW, I added a "ticks" routine to the script, so the method of measuring time should be consistent. And I've been copying and pasting the script to the various editors, so there shouldn't be any inconsistencies with it. I've consistently used a 250-character unbroken string of the target in a TextEdit document.)
    4) Mixed in with all these trials, I wrote a script to get a list of offsets of all the target characters; it can be configured to change the characters or not. But I found some intriguing SE vs. SD differences there also. In tests on the fast machine, running the script simply to get the offset list (without making any changes), the list is generated in under a second -- but sometimes barely so. The surprise was that SE ran it in about half the time as SD. although SD was about twice as fast with a script that called for changes. Go figure.
    5) Since getting the offset list is pretty fast in either case, I was hoping to think up some innovative way of using the offset list to make changes in the document more quickly. But running a repeat routine with the list simply isn't innovative, and the result is roughly what I get with your repeat script coupled with an added fraction of a second for generating the list. Changing each character as each offset is generated also yields about the same result.
My conclusion from all this is that the very fast approaches (which lose formatting) are changing the characters globally, not one at a time as occurs visibly with techniques where the formatting isn't lost. I don't know what to make of SE vs. SD, but I repeated the runs several times in each editor, with consistent results.
Finally, while writing the offset list script, I encountered a couple AS issues that I've seen several times in the past (having nothing specifically to do with this topic), but I'll present that as a new post.
Thanks for your comments and any others will be welcome.

  • Where can I see ARCHIVED Business Partner Change Documents?

    Hi,
I am archiving change documents of BPs with infostructure and Content Repository so that the change documents can be displayed in Archive Explorer TX SARI.
Now I am wondering if the archived change documents could also be displayed in transaction BP.
There in the menu is the option:
    - Environment
    - Archived Data
When I click on this I get the error message
There is no suitable active info structure
    Message no. Q6507
But I have info structure SAPCHANGEDOCU1 active (I can see also in table AIND_STR2).
When I debug the transaction u2013 Environment u2013 Archived Data I see that it is expecting archiving object CA_BUPA (Business Partner) and not the archiving object CHANGEDOCU.
Does this mean that in the menu I only can see ARCHIVED BPs and not archived BP change documents?
I the archive Explorer the only place I can see the archived BP change documents?
    Thanks in advance,
    Thomas

    Hi Ram,
Although, there is no standard functionality where you can see blocked business partners in the SAP ECC system. Please can you let me know as to why you are required to see blocked business partners in the SAP ECC system.
But if really required, you can design such a thing and  that is  possible as I have worked on a similar requirement some time back.

Did you change the email address or create a new Apple ID?
