Archivelog off - then back on again.

Greetings ,
I was asked to turn off archivelog and flashback a few days ago and since the
database collectors would not be talking to the database when these features were
turned off I complied.
Now I suspect in the next day or so they will finish their work and I will turn each back on.
My question concerns the backups that were scheduled in EM that have been failing since
archivelog was turned off. I know why this is happening but should I expect everything to
be back to NORMAL after enabling archivelog ( the next scheduled EM daily incremental backup will succeed)
or is there more work to be done ?

For a RMAN backup the database must be in ARCHIVELOG mode. If the archivelog mode is disabled the backup jobs will be failed.
If you turn off and turn ON the Archivelog mode. You have to restart the emctl service.

Just to double check you tried eveyrthing take a look at this link http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398 .
Can also try powering off the home router, then the phone, and then power up the router wait for the signal and then power up the phone and see if he can connect.

Mine has been doing this auto eject stuff too.
I think I just plugged it in and TM let me select it but is it possible
I should have reformatted it with DU first, like with all the WD drive problems ?
Is it too late for that ?
Or just try to return it or get rid of it ?

Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons. Click the Update or Restore button that iTunes offers.

Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Take the applicable steps in this support article. The Wireless Diagnostics program generates a large file of information about your system, which would be used by Apple Engineering in case of a support incident. Don't post the contents here.
Step 2
Disconnect all USB 3 devices. If you don't know which are USB 3, disconnect all USB devices except keyboard and mouse.

If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. If you find that Wi-Fi works better with Bluetooth disabled, you should use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. Your router may not support it; in that case, you need a new router.
Step 4
Open the Energy Saver pane in System Preferences and unlock the settings, if necessary. Select the Power Adapter tab, if there is one. Uncheck the box marked
Wake for Wi-Fi network access
if it's checked.

Open the Network pane in System Preferences and make a note of your settings in the Wi-Fi service. It may be helpful to take screenshots of the various tabs in the preference pane. If the preference pane is locked, unlock it by clicking the padlock icon and entering your administrator password. Delete Wi-Fi from the service list on the left by selecting it and clicking the minus-sign button at the bottom. Then recreate the service by clicking the plus-sign button and following the prompts.

Easiest way is to have an external drive to which you copy the things you store like pictures, movies, and music
which take up a lot of space. Then delete them fron the main drive and clean it up with one of the maintenance utilities. You can readily access the external drive's contents whenever you wish.

Check out the article below to troubleshoot issues with connecting to WI-Fi. You may want to reset the Network Settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. It will not delete remove any personal data besides and known Wi-Fi networks that you have joined in the past.

Its possible that the server can be down now. Have you ever used it before? If you want, try resseting the phone by just holding the sleep/wake key and the home button together for 10 seconds. Then wait 5 seconds when it turns off and press the sleep/wake button to turn it back on. Then try it again. Let me know what the results are.

since a few weeks, every day my phone starts to turn off and back on again by itself, and this 10-20 times. Then it works fine again for a few hours and the whole thing starts again. I've also noticed I have to recharge my phone every day.

My ipad displays a black box around icons and isn't scrolling properly. I have turned it off then back on, which is the extent of my limited knowledge.

I was trying to get it to airprint to my supposedly supported HP eprint printer, but was having no luck. After trying to follow the online instructions on the HP website, it told me to turn it off wait 30 secs then turn it back on(along with the other devices but thats not my issue now) When I turned it back on it has a black box around all icons, I have to "double click" to get anything to open, and is not scrolling properly. If you have not done a factory reset on the device, I recommend doing a complete factory reset.
Factory Reset - Warning this will reset device back to original factory settings.
This method will not erase any MDN/MIN information
Turn off the phone
Press Power + Volume Up/Down at the same time and hold until display will show a triage android screen
Display will show:
Reboot system Now
Apply sdcard:update.zip
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache Partition
Use VOL Down key to scroll down to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", press home icon to select option and wipe device.
Display shows "All user data will be wiped out", press VOLUME Up to continue or VOLUME Down to exit.
Press Volume Up
Press Home to select "Reset System Now" - device will reboot
If the problem persist I recommend having a store technician take a look at the device.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
