Archiving Objects for sales docuements in document flow

i want to be able to from the sales document flow ,i.e sales order, billling document be able to find the arciving objects? were do i need to look to find the archving objects?

Try with report S3VBAKAU. You can check it in tcode AOBJ for object SD_VBAK.

Hi,
You do not need to configure the tables to be deleted for any archive object through AOBJ. SAP would have maintained the list of tables from which data will be deleted if you archive a particular object. In case of archiving MM_EKKO, data will be deleted from many other tables apart from EKKO and EKPO. Here is the list of tables from which data will be delete if you archive PO using MM_EKKO.

Customised archiving object for archiving a Y table

Hi Guys,
I am trying to create a customize archiving object for archiving a Y table.
BC_SBOOK is one archiving object which i am using as the template. IT has no archiving calss defined in AOBJ tcode
Could you please let me know if it is necessary to create the archiving class.
Also if i can get any reference document for the same.

How to see archive data for Sales order

Hi all,
I am working on PS , network is created with sales order 10911. the components are added while sales order created, but after that someone deletes the sales order, because now it is showing oder does not found, where i get the entreis for sales order.

Hi Khushi,
To see the archived data for sales order , go to transaction code SARA.
Choose object name as SD_VBAK.Click READ.
It will show a screen giving a name of program and option to execute in background or foreground.
It will help you to get information about archived sales order data.

Archiving object for tables GLPCC and GLPCO

Hi All,
GLPCA table stores the actual line items in PCA and GLPCT table stores the totals records of PCA.
What are the transactions which get affected in regular course by these tables?
GLPCC - EC-PCA: Transaction Attributes
GLPCO - EC-PCA: Object Table for Account Assignment
There is no archiving object for the tables GLPCC and GLPCO when checked in DB15. What is the alternative for archiving the entries in those tables?

Hello Anupama,
The standard archiving objects for PCA are EC_PCA_ITM & EC_PCA_SUM. Most of the data is archived with above two objects. Hence it would be better to use given archiving object. About 80% of data can be archived through standard archiving objects.

MM_SPSTOCK - is for archiving all the Batch related data including speical stocks. This will take care of your Batch Tables MCH1, MCHA, MCHB(own stock) and also all of the special stock tables like MSKA, MKOL, MSKU, MKOP, MSLB .....(if used in your company)etc. You should be fine just using this object

Role can be created with the authorizations to the transactions like VA01/02/03 and authorized users can be assigned to these roles, this way you can control the authorizations to standard transactions,

Archiving Process for Sales Order

Hi,
We have this new client. Archiving was previously working & has suddenly stopped. Logs are also unavailable as they have been erased.
We just have a list of Batch Jobs which contain the following Programs.
1. RSARDISP - The Scheduling Job
2. S3VBAKWRS - Archiving Program (Input or output error in archive file /oracle/STP/ixos/exchange/RSD04210.220142.BATCHBA)
3. RSARCH_STORE_FILE
We need to run these batch jobs, in order to find out where the error is occurring.
We can see the old already archived documents, by ckicking on Enviorment -> Display Originals on VA02 screen
Questions:
1 What is the sequence in which we need to run these programs?
2.Is this the entire list of steps in order to enable archiving for Sales Orders
3.I am not sure if SARA is being used to schedule, or is it just these Batch Jobs with the programs. How can I know the exact process that was employed previously

If you don't have any documentation, I suppose that you are using the object SD_VBAK, and your client is using SARA. Check these points:
- The settings for the auth.objects are in tcode AOBJ. See the reports for preprocessing, archiving and deletion. You must mantain selection variants to call them with SARA.
- See mantain networks graphic. You must archive and delete all documents in the flow before to archive SO.
- See the settings in tcode VORA (customizing tcodes) where you do the settings for residence time (Number of days which must elapse in order to archive the sales document).

CO assignment object for sales revenue account

while doing the intercompany billing after PGI, system is throwing an error 'account assignment object is required for sales revenue account xxxxxx'. However, the sales revenue account is created as a revenue element and the profit centre accounting is active. How can I solve this issue ?

Hi,
The account assignments flow from the sales order into the billing document. If you update the profit center in the sales order in the profi center field of the item detail view - > account assignment tab, it will be captured in the billing document.
Also if you want this to happen automatically, this can be maintained in the material master. Or you may need to define a substitution using 0KEM.

Hi Rajesh,
Not all tables can be archived. For some tables there may be option available for plainly deleting the contents without archiving. Please check the Data Management Guide available at the service marketplace for further information. You may also refer to SAP note 706478.
Word of caution: Not all tables are meant to be archived / deleted. Some tables maybe required for proper functioning of the SAP system (however big the table is). So please proceed with caution if you are trying to develop a custom program to delete contents from a standard SAP table, you may end up deleting some data which was required. Even when deleting using standard SAP programs, proper due diligence and testing is necessary

Authorization object for sales tax code (MWSKZ) in FB60

HI, there is a FI tcode FB60 in FI module. The requirement is that user wants to restrict some users to enter only few sales tax codes from among the list. For example if there are 30 tax codes, then user should be authorised to enter only 5 tax codes from the list. In standard authorization, there doesn't exist an authorization object to restrict tax codes. Kindly tell me the process of making authorization object for this task.
I have made one authorization object. I think i need to call this object somewhere in user exit of FB60. Is this the way of doing this?? Kindly if someone have done this, mention down the procedure of making authorization object and how to implement it. Thanks

Instead of creating a authorization obejct and assigning it to the tax code, it will be easy to write the code in a user exit to check whether the tax code is applicable for the user. Suppose if the user enters a non-applicable tax code, you can throw an error.
Do u want to restrict the number of entries in F4 help for tax code for a particular user?

the maximum limit of line items are as follows
order-9999
for delivery and invocie , it is restricted to 999 accouitng line items. since the tranfer to accounting can handle only 999 items , the restriction on delivery and invocie
ex if there are excise postings, for a single line , there might be 5/6 lines genetrated for each line in invocie , therfore as per this the line in invocie get restricted
you have a sap note , which offers suggestions to partially over come this

Authorization object for Sales area determination

Hi Experts,
Im here having service message created with error messages as below:
1. Enter a sales organization
2. Enter a distribution channel
3. Responsible organizational unit (sales) missing
4. Enter a service organization
5. Responsible organizational unit (service) missing
6. Enter the unit of measure
7. Enter a Currency
FYI, the Sales area data has been maintained correctly via Tcode BP. And i realize that the SolMan user id having some missing authorization. Because i did tried to add SAP_ALL to the same user id. After that the message created <u>without</u> any errors.
Thus im suspecting the user id missing some authorization that causing the failed of Sales area data detemination.
Could you please point me out?

Actually our requirement is that we need to restrict a user searching documents belonging to him and reporting to him.
without any authorizations given we are able to search the documents of all users in activty management under activtiy monitor. we would like to block users to view only documents done by him in his sales area.
can you provide me the details of the authorization object, please.
