Archiving - Objetct SD_COND (Programs)

It would like to know which the name of the programs that perform for we will file the facts??

Hi Augusto,
You can see the program in the other places, such are:
GOTO> SARA > Enter Archiving object name (SD_COND) > Click Write > in the Application screen name you can see the write program name. or Click system > status > here you can see the program name.
Similarly if you goto Delete variant, you can see the Delete program name.
2. If you want to know the dependencies then you have to click on the Network graph (First button) of SARA administration screen by entering the archiving object.
If you want more information about archiving object then please inform what is your requirement step by step.

Hi,
Its good that u pasted the complete log file. In your environment you have to run this upgrade tool only once from any of the middle tier.
And with respect to your error that u got in precheck is quite simple. All u have to do is just run this script from by connecting to portal schema using sqlplus.
Run dropupg.sql
Location-------- /raid/product/OraHome_1/upgrade/temp/portal/prechktmp/dropupg.sql
Later you re-run the upgrade tool and let me know the status.

Archiving object SD_COND

Does object SD_COND come with a read program? I tried creating the archive file in various formats, but it can't be read outside of SAP. No READ button for it shows up in SARA either?

Sorry for the late reply. You would not need to activate both infostructures/tables. Just the one that best fits your search criteria needs.
Then, you could view the data via single document display. Or, you could write a report - although, the report may take a long time to run. You may need to build an index for the infostructure.

Recreate AVCHD archive? Which program would you recommend?

ClipWrap does not recreate AVCHD camera archives for isolated MTS files; it is useless for that purpose. It can however do two useful things. First, it can rewrap the h264 video clip from inside the MTS file into an m4v container that can be imported to FCPX (unlike the MTS file). This rewrapping doesn't alter the h264 stream in any way. Alternatively it can transcode the clip from h264 to ProRes, a step that is essential if the MTS contains 1080p60 material. Recreating an AVCHD folder structure is something it can't do.

Archiving SD_COND

Hi, can anyone advise how to overcome this error VK266 while writing the archive file using SARA for archiving object SD_COND?
I think it's related to the setting in the customizing setting for SD_COND, but juz dun which value i need to update.

FM or program SD invoice from Archive

Hi All,
I want to read the SD invoice from the archive in the program.
We have option to read EDI_IDOC_GET_FROM_ARCHIVE for reading from Archive. I need same type of FM for reading SD invoices.
Please suggest the possible options.

Hi,
1. Go to Transaction SARA.
2. Enter your arch. object SD_VBRK ( Objects like FI_DOCUMNT, RV_LIKP, SD_VBAK, SD_VFKK, SD_VTTK, EC_PCA_ITM, MM_MATBEL can be done in this way )
3. Click management button (Ver 5.0). In 4.6c you may see buttons like 'management' or 'Read'.
4. Now READ archive button is visible.
Click it.
5. It will show the program name of read archive.
6. Click execute button.
Selection screen will ask you the required sales documents to read.

Read idoc from archive in program

I want to read the idoc from the archive in the program.

we can read the idoc present in the R/3 database using the FM idoc_read_completely.
But how to read the same from the archive. I can view the idoc from the t-code we10.

Archiving of spool requests (ERS documents) Apprentice Project HELP needed..

I'm an apprentice from Germany and I have to do a project for my final exams. I could desparetly Need some help on getting started.
In our SRM, we have a program for the Generation of ERS documents (credit note?).
Firstly, the Programm BBPERS creates ERS Idocs on Basis of stock-receipt (?). Secondly, the program RSPPFPROCESS sends the ERS invoice to the supplier via mail.
The document is saved only as an email.
We do have a Z-Programm, ZZBBPERS, that is used for subsequent creation of ERS documents as PDFs. These are saved in the Spool, but for each invoice a different spool number is created.
Now my Task is to find a way to Archive these ERS documents into an external Archive. We use d.3 as Archive, I don't know if you have heard of it. But that shouldn't matter right now.
So the question is, how can this be achieved? I don't really know anything about archiving in SAP. And this is a very Special case. Where do I have to start? Do I Need to write a program, or can I use some of SAPs Standard possiblities? What programs are there for archiving spools? Can they be defined as only archiving Spools from program X? Where do I define archiving procedures?
I hope some of you can get me started. I don't Need a perfect solution right off the bat, just a place to start and ideas how to Approach this Project.

So the Business object should be the BUS2207, right? This is our Business object for ERS. We don't have BUS2081, what is that?
edit: Wait, what is the difference between Business Object and Archiving Object? We do not have an archiving object vor ERS.
To clarify: We do not book in SRM, we are sending it per Idoc to another SAP System where the booking takes place.
We are just creating the PDF out of the BUS2207 and sending it to the vendor via RSPPFPROCESS and Action "BBP_ERS".
Can you tell me where I can see detailed Information for the Archive Connection? I have the entry in OAC0 with IP address and all. But we have no records of ever archiving in this System so how can I see Connection details and test it?
I also have to analyze if ArchiveLink is already set up and working..
Also, where do I define how the files are saved in the storage System? With this I mean like in which Content repositories / Folders and so on they are saved.
What Information are given to the PDF? All document informations, like Dates invoice number and so on? How can I use them for my Archive structure?

SAP Data Archiving in R/3 4.6C and ECC 6.0.

Need some suggestions,
We currently working on SAP R/3 4.6 and have plans to upgrade it to ECC 6.0,
In the mean time there is an requirement for SAP Data Archiving for reducing the database size and increase system performance.So wanted to know if its better to do Data Archiving before upgrade or after. Technically which will be comfortable, Also wanted to know if any advanced method available in ECC 6.0 compared to SAP R/3 4.6.
Please provide your valuable suggestion.

Hi Deepu,
With respect to archiving process there will be no major difference in 4.6 and ECC 6.0 system. However you may get more advantage in ECC6.0 system because of Archive routing and also upgraded Write, Delete programs (upgraded program will depend on your current program in 4.6 system). For example In 4.6 system for archive MM_EKKO write program RM06EW30, archiving of purchase document is based on company code in the selection criteria and there is no preprocessing functionality. In ECC 6.0 you can archive by purchase organization selection criteria and preprocessing functionality will additional help in archiving of PO.
In case if you archive documents in 4.6 and later upgrade it to ECC 6.0, SAP system will assure you to retrieve the archived data.
With this i can say that going with archiving after upgrade to ECC 6.0 system will be better with respect to archiving process.

Archiving object CHANGEDOCU

I need to archive data using archiving object CHANGEDOCU. Now the condition is that in this archiving object, I need to restrict the data (to be archived) to company code 1030 (country US). As the company code field is not available in the selection screen of this archiving object, can you please tell me, how can I limit the data to company code 1030, using other fields in the selection screen.

If you are targeting few tables for your requirement than you may create a customized(Z) archiving object for them using transaction AOBJ.
While creating the archiving program you can create your own selection screen. On this basis you can write the select queries and then archive them.

Archiving EC_PCA_ITM object: Profit center

We are doing the archiving for the object EC_PCA_ITM (Profit ctr. accounting: actual and plan line items)
The system display an error message about a configuration in customizing:
"The are no versions in Customizing that match your selections"
In Customizing, no combination of controlling area, ledger, version, and year was found for your selection criteria.
My question is: Which are the consecuences of combinations update in customizing? We are going to update information? affect account balances?

Hello Enzo,
It seems to be that you are receiving Error message GX214 "There are no versions in Customizing that match your selections", although versions are available.
Please ensure that you have implemented the latest version of the note 370299. You can check whether you are using the latest version of the archiving and deletion programs via t-code SE38 -> Utilities -> Versions -> Version Management. The latest version of this note will resolve most problems concerning archiving up to release 46C. Please check very carefully this note.
In addition, please check the following in your system:
At least version 0 has to be maintained in trx. 0KEQ for profit center accounting otherwise no data would be transfered to PCA as actual postings are always transfered to PCA in version 0.

Archiving failure: "Archive run not completed"

Hi all,
I'm trying to repeat a failed SARA archiving process using program RSREQARCH_WRITE, but I get below message, saying last archiving is not yet completed:
"Archive run not completed: 004440-001BWREQARCHR-ARC:20140805(0001) W"
Normally I would go into SARA, hit DELETE button, and then "Archive Selection" to choose the pending files to be deleted. However, when I do this, I have none.
Already tried note 1298247, but this does not apply (we have BW 7.3).
Any suggestions on how to repeat this pending archive?

Archiving IDOC

Hi all,
During Archiving IDOC , WRITE program displays number of archived Data records(EDID4) , Control records (EDIDC) , and Status records(EDIDS) for each archived file in spool.
Can anyone tell me the names of tables from where these values i.e number of archived documents per archived file for that particular session, can be obtained.

Statistics information for every Archiving session is stored in table ADMI_STATS and ADMI_FILES.
ADMI_STATS will give you the no of objects archived in a particular session. Information on no of objects per archive file can be found in table ADMI_FILES.

ECC upgrade impact on data archival

Friends,
We are working on the data archival SAP version 4.7, parallely ECC upgrades activities are going on. We are working on the archive tools like transactions SARA, SARI etc as part of archiving. Not sure on what changes to the features will be available in the ECC6.0 version and its impact on already archived files. Can somebody give some inputs/direction?

Retrieval of Archived data
1. SAP system support to retrieve data archived from 4.7 system by ECC system. There is no negative impact in retrieving archived data of deferent version in ECC system.
Advice to take back ups of Field catalog, Archive infostructure in case it is Custom or any additional field added to standard structure.
2. Some changes in Archive index is there in ECC system -
In ECC system, if you want to retrieve archived data from FB03 then activate and fill the Archive infostructure, Archive build index will not work.
This method remains same for Material document and other documents
In ECC system SAP recommends to use Archive system instead of building archive index table such as ARIX_BKPF...
Archive Program
1. All the BC sets to upgrade archiving process are been implemented in ECC system, so you can see some changes in the Write program, Delete program.. or for some archiving object you may also see addition of preprocessing program..
For example: MM_EKKO in initial released 4.7 version didn't had preprocessing job, Write job variant had option of company code to archive purchase order. Later BC set was released with upgraded programs with Preprocessing program and in Write variant with selection of Purchase organization instead of Company code.
If you have already implemented latest release of BC sets then in ECC 6.0 will not have any changes otherwise some minor changes you can see.
Please specify which archiving object with program you are concern with.
Store Function
1. In ECC system, SAP has filled up a long standing gap of storing archived data of different company code in separate content repository. This is very much useful when you want to store the archived data of different organization units in different storage repository. This also easy to get rid of data that has completed total retention period from the storage system.
Remain other functionality remains the same. Please let me know if you have any concern about archiving object that you are using.
