ARD admin app clocks/unresponsive when I try to control

I bought and installed ARD 3.4 today on my macbook pro, 10.6.6 ... I followed the "easy setup" tutorial on apple's site to get the other computer/s accessible for the client side.
I am able to observe the clients immediately and without issue. But when I choose "control", the pinwheel starts turning, a pop up says "connecting to [client] computer" and the app becomes unresponsive. I have walked away for 10-15 minutes and nadda...I have to "force quit" the application.
I tried the "curtain" option, to just to see...it puts the lock screen on the client's computer, but same as above, the "connecting to [client] computer" and clocking/unresponsive.
The ARD clients are my mom's imac g4 10.5.8 ... and also tried in desperation my friend's acer hackbook 10.5.7
I apologize in advance if there are multiple threads on this - I have key word searched all I could think of and was unable to locate any thread similar to my problem.

Just bought a mac mini server and I bought ARD from the app store.
I can observe the server no problem, but as soon as I try to control, the wheel start spinning and never stop.
Please solve this ASAP.

It says I'm logged into my Apple ID on my App Store but when I try to download an app it comes up with my mums Apple ID asking for her password yet I have never used her email or Apple ID to login in? Could this be cause we have back up on same comp?

An app which I have never purchased shows as an update on the App store. When I try to deal qith it shows as being purchased by someone with a different apple id than me. No one else uses my Macbook Pro. Any ideas???

His last suuggestion was to go home, back up all the data an take the computer back to the Apple store to reinstall the operating system. Any simpler ideas to solve this problem.???

Before I updated to ios7, I had the nationwide mobile banking app. This app would not function properly once the update had downloaded, so , following previous advice, I deleted the app. Now when I try to download the app, I get 'no results for this app'.

Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

You would need to delete all of the Logic Audio related preference files, reciepts...etc, located in these folders.

Any chance the apps were purchased through another iTunes Store account? That's usually the cause of the symptoms you describe. Get Info on your apps and see if perhaps some were indeed purchased using a different account. If so, just sign into the iTunes Store using that account and you should then be able to update.

Mines been doing it for at least 6 months.Support had me do a reset and when that didnt work,they convinced me to update to version 11.That was a waste of time... Even if I open the App Store with nothing but basic utilitys loaded on my iPad,the App Store closes/crashes for no "Obvious" reason.However internal diagnostics show the cause is that the App Store is overloading the iPads processor.I have tons of memory on my iPad (64GB) but apparently the newer versions of the iTunes App Store are overloading it, (Even in a stripped down state).
Solution? I have never gotten any helpfull answers from support in nearly 6 months.So, other than reverting to an even earler version of iTunes (Pre version 10.7 at least for me),or using something like the "Apple Sliced "App... Most of them are free,and have a few good features, but all that I've tried are are less usefull for doing App searches.
It was a real shock to me ,when support claimed it had never heard about this issue before.These forums would indicate differently.It seems really stupid to design a basic utility, that a fair number of customers wont be able to use, and recieve no warning before encouraging us to install it..

Crashes when I try to control

Am installing ARD on my new MacBook (10.6.6) mobile lab and have installed on my new iMac (10.6.6) as well. I can observe the MacBooks from my iMac, but when I try to control them, ARD crashes and I have to Force Quit. Also, every time I quit ARD and then restart it, it asks me to provide the serial number, even if I shut it down normally (as opposed to crashing it.) I do not have this problem when I try and control a MacBook from one of the other MacBooks. Any suggestions? Thanks

I went back and looked, and the version I had installed first - the one that caused ARD and Screen Sharing to die - was Build 350A10, witch was a developer seed.
I did install it on a clean Lion (Final version from the App Store install) but still got the freeze, the Screen Sharing not working and all that, but after installing the latest 3.5 seed it now works.
That one was just intalled on top of the 350A10, so if anyone - like me - had a Dev Seed prior to Build 460.87 installed, then get the latest and install on top, and it should work again.
