ARD - How do I see when I'm being viewed?

Using Mavericks and have ARD. I need to know if there's a clear way to know when I'm being viewed. Someone needs to develop a desktop widget to alert you.

Settings -> Sharing -> Remote Management -> Options
Make sure that "Show when being observed" is set. Then the icon in the menu bar will change when someone is viewing your system.
Regards.

    Hi lynniewigs,
    This is a common concern among Android and I-phone user, and one of the drawbacks to using a smart phone.  We lose so much privacy. Our phones become cameras into our homes for us to be spied on.
    I don't know what type of phone you have, if it is even a smart phone, but here is an example of an application that you can use to determine which applications are accessing your information and sending it out.
    Permission Scanner - Android Apps on Google Play
    Google just recently revamp their permissions geared to hide invasive applications that spy and send out your information without your knowledge.  Report says be aware of what your Android app does - CNET
    Please continue to be mindful of the apps you download and the permissions you give.

  • How we can see when the condition records created.

    Hi,
    How we can see when the condition records created ( Valid from and Valid to ) ? And also how we can see the changes made in the Condition records?
    Regards,
    jyothi.

    Hello,
    you can display the condtion records in transaction VK13.
    Here you have the posibillity to display the changes of the condtion records.
    Please goto VK13
    > Enter your selection criteria
       > Enviroment
          > changes
    But you can also create a condtion list. and the you can display more than one condition record:
    Please have a look at the transation V/LD - Pricing Report
    For example: conditon list 14 for taxes.
    Here you get an overview of tax condtions.
    I hope that the information are helpful.
    Regards

  • How do I keep my Imessages from being viewed on other devices under my apple ID?

    How do I keep my Imessages from being viewed on other devices under my apple ID?

    No, you can authorize any number of email addresses on your Apple Id and then select one of those to use as an alternate Send and Recieve for Messages. It isn't necessary to use seperate AppleIDs. I use my phone number on my iPhone and an email address on the iPad.

  • How can i see when someone views my mail, how can i see when someone views my mail

    Can someone please help me figure out how I can know when someone has read an email I sent

    All you can do is "Request" a Read Receipt if the recipient does not want to send you a Read Receipt then they do not have to and you can not do anything about that. Thank God.
    You can also include something like "Apon receipt of this email would you plaes respond that you have read it", "Thank You".
    Other then that you have no control over it. Thank God.
    Do you know and understand what would happen IF the Sender could Force the Recipient to send a Read Receipt or a Forced Response that they Recieved an Email. Spammer would have a field day.

  • How can you see when an event was created?

    Is there a way to see when an event was created in a calendar?

    However, this will have no legal standing - it is not a proof and it trivial to fake. Only carefully set up digital signatures (set up in particular ways) have legal standing (varies by country).

  • How Do I See When Package Last Ran in SSIS?

    I've searched for possible solutions, however none had worked for me (mostly queries for SQL Server). My problem is this:
    I have a MAIN package that runs about 100 little packages in 1 main process.  A lot of times on the first load the packages are disabled are kept enabled.  I found some missing data that a package had inserted into SQL Server.  It
    could be a few different packages that did this.
    What I need is to see the time and date when the packages I have pinpointed as problematic have ran.  They could be enabled or disabled.
    Is there a simple way to look somewhere in SSIS to see the last date and time these packages have ran so I can compare to the recorded creation date in one of my tables?
    Thanks.

    Hi ,
    you can try below;
    SELECT TOP 1 j.name as JobName, jh.message, jh.run_status,
    LastRunDateTime = CONVERT(DATETIME, CONVERT(CHAR(8), run_date, 112) + ' ' + STUFF(STUFF(RIGHT('000000' + CONVERT(VARCHAR(8), run_time), 6), 5, 0, ':'), 3, 0, ':'), 121)
    FROM msdb..sysjobs j INNER JOIN msdb..sysjobhistory jh ON j.job_id = jh.job_id
    WHERE CONVERT(DATETIME, CONVERT(CHAR(8), run_date, 112) + ' ' + STUFF(STUFF(RIGHT('000000' + CONVERT(VARCHAR(8), run_time), 6), 5, 0, ':'), 3, 0, ':'), 121) > DATEADD(HOUR, -24, GETDATE())
    AND jh.step_id = 0 AND j.name = 'myPacakge'
    ORDER BY LastRunDateTime desc
    --run status 0 when job failed
    --run status 1 when job succeeded

  • OWB - How can I see when a record has been added or amended

    I am using OWB to convert and transform some data from another system. I have
    created a primary key constraint and have set the Loading Type to Inser/Update.
    What I need to know is how can I update a column in the destination table with
    the text INSERT when a new record is inserted or UPDATE when it is updated.

    I have found a work-around that does what I need. I have written a function that sits between the source view and destination table, check if the incomming key exists in the destination table and returns a string containing UPDATE, INSERT or EXCEPTION depending on what happens in the function. The value is then passed to the destination table.

  • How do I  see when there's a Missed call on Droid Pro

    I love my brand new Droid Pro - BUT there are a few things I'm taking too much time trying to figure out.  First - where do I see that there is a missed call?
    Thanks - and I'm sure I'll be back on with more questions!
    DeenaM

    If the phone has an LED light, it should flash that there is a notification of some kind including missed calls.
    There will also be a symbol in the top left corner of screen and when you pull down the notification window, it will tell who called or for multiple missed calls the number of calls.
    You can also find the full manual online at either Verizon's or Motorola's website. It should explain most of the symbols used in the top notification bar.

  • How can I see when my latest iphone back up occured in iTunes without the device connected?

    My iPhon eis in recovery mode, presumably due to a failure in a software update as that was what I was last doing.  I think my phone has been syncing via wifi but before I restore from back up, I want to know when my last back up was - can anyone tell me if I can look this up on iTunes?

    To check when the latest backup was made on iTunes, open iTunes, go to iTunes menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences > Devices, and look for your iPhone's name and the date

  • How do i see when i changed calendar!

    so i can prove that i did wrote in the calendar

    Unfortunately you can't.  Only when they edit the file you can, by checking the modification date of the file.
    However if you are suspicious of anyone else opening and looking at your files, you can create a folder and call it "Confidential" or something. And then add a Folder Action to that folder to send you an email if anyone opens the folder.
    Here is an example of a Folder Action Script you can use if you want to do that:
    property theName : "Your Name"
    property theAddress : "[email protected]"
    on opening folder this_folder
              set {TID, text item delimiters} to {text item delimiters, ", "}
              set this_folder to this_folder as text
              set text item delimiters to TID
              set dateString to (current date) as string
              set theBody to "Someone accessed this folder " & name of (info for this_folder) & "and probably looked at a file…."
              tell application "Mail"
                        set newMessage to make new outgoing message with properties {visible:true, subject:"Someone looked at an item in a your confidential folder on your desktop" & dateString, content:theBody}
                        tell newMessage
      make new to recipient at end of to recipients with properties {name:theName, address:theAddress}
                        end tell
      activate
      send newMessage
              end tell
    end opening folder

  • How can I see when a transport has been made in an other environement?

    Hi,
    Is there anywhere in SAP where you can see if a transport as been made in an other environement? I'm trying to figure out if a transport in the DVL environement has been made in the SANDBOX environement. I tried SE10 transaction, but it seems that once the transport has been made in an other environement, it doesn't appear in this transaction anymore.
    Thanks, points will be given if helpful.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the transaction code, but my question is not answered yet.
    For example, I use STMS_IMPORT in the Development environement to see the list of the transport that has been made in that environement.
    I now have a list of these transports, with a status. But I wanna know if that transport that has been created in the Development environement has been moved to the Sandbox environement.
    STMS_IMPORT shows me only the list of transports that has been created in that environement. It doesn't tell me if a transport in DVL has been moved in the QAS, SANDBOX or PRODUCTION environment.
    Thanks again,
    Julien

  • How can I see when I created a playlist?

    I've been creating mixes via playlists in iTunes for years now, but I never thought of writing down the date of when I created them.  Of course, iTunes is organizing them in alphabetical order, but I really want to get a good idea of when these lists were created.
    So, anyone know if it's possible?  If I have to go rooting around via the iTunes .xml or Terminal or something, so be it.  I just need to know!!!! lol

    When you consider the playlist to be final, right-click its name in the left-hand pane, and use one of the Export options.  This creates a file with the date/time of creation.  (I am talking about the date of the file itself, because as Chris notes, the date is not in the contents of the file).
    Note that iTunes does not have the concept of "finalizing" or "locking down" a playlist.  The list is always open, and can be changed (intentionally or unintentionally) at any time.  The Export will at least preserve the listing at that moment in time.  Also, if you are inclined, you can post the listing on one of the mixtape sites such as Art of the Mix or Zen Running Order, which creates a more permanent record and also may get kudos from your fellow mixtapers.  ;-)
