ARD works best with which VNC server?

We are a majority Mac base company and have about 20 or so PCs. I control all Macs using ARD 3.1 from a Mac Pro (OS 10.4.8, 1GB RAM). I also control my PCs from my Mac Pro using ARD 3.1 with TightVNC server on the PCs. However, controlling my PCs using ARD is not always consistent sometimes I connect sometimes I don't. My question is which one out of the 4 vnc servers best work with ARD - Radmin 3.0, TightVNC 1.3.8, RealVNC (there are 3 different version: Free Edition 4.1, Personal Edition 4.2.8, and Enterprise Edition 4.2.9), or UltraVNC 1.0.2? Remember, I am managing all my computers from my Mac using ARD 3.1. I am trying to make Chicken of the VNC as my last option for controlling my PCs from my Mac.

Are you able to right-click (control click) when using ARD to connect to the PCs now? I haven't been able to get it to work.
I tried TightVNC on the PC end, but dumped it because the video was messed up - the right side of the screen would appear on the left. I now use UltraVNC which seems to work fine. However, I'm using Chicken of the VNC to connect, because of the right click issue.
Not much help....but I do want to know if you have right-click working.

I have a problem with Compressor and ive been scouring the many many posts on failure to batch and failure to open. I have done all of the reinstalls except my OS, which im reluctant to do. What seems to work for other eludes me still. I wonder still if this spec has something missing as i dont have any idea what works best. I have the ProApps update so my thinking is this should all be current and workable.
At the moment compressor does not repsond to clicking in the dock or the finder.

I have a problem that I am desperate for any kind of feedback from. Can you help?
Last week I bought a Sony DCR-SR90 HDD camcorder, thinking it would be simple to pull files from this hard drive camcorder straight into iMovie.
However, there is only a USB connection, and the bundled software is for PCs only. I had to download an MPEG2 program from Apple (£14.99) just to be able to import the files and now it does so, but without sound. Moreover, the quality of the image is awful in the iMovie viewing window.
I have a feeling that this Sony camcorder, though quite new, is not compatible with an Apple Powerbook and/or iMovie. This is disastrous as it cost £850 and I need it for my own wedding in September.
My question is: is it worth taking this machine back to Jessops and getting a Mini-DV camcorder that is definitely compatible with Apple/iMovie, or is there a way to get this funky Sony camcorder to sync/work with a Mac?
Second: if I exchange it for a different camcorder, which one should I get guys???!!! (it's vital that it works with iMovie as I like to make decent edited home movies with music, effects etc).

Please help me decide which wireless all in one printer works best with the ipad 4. I am looking for better photo printing quality, but not the very best. I am concerned mainly with being able to set up the printer using only my ipad 4 and wireless router, as I do not own a PC with a cd/rom. I am also interested in which brand of compatible printers is less expensive to buy ink and paper for. I would prefer a more compact unit. Thank you in advance for any advice.

These days I prefer Brother printers. They appear to have engineered their printers with AirPrint as well as OS X compatibility from the start, unlike certain others who appear to have included it as an afterthought.
Brother's models are inexpensive, their ink is also inexpensive and lasts a long time, and their photo quality is at least as good as anyone else's. They have a two year warranty and lifetime free technical support with people who understand Apple.
Read the reviews (Amazon for instance, but be sure to read user reviews on the various manufacturer's websites as well) and decide for yourself.

Both will work very well. You might not even need to install the software that comes with them because they'll probably work fine with iPhoto etc. Before you buy a camera, check this list of cameras supported by OS X:

Just about all Nikon and Canon cameras are on that list. If a camera is so new it is not yet on that list, it will be in the next update, probably.
That list is for raw format compatibility. If your camera also shoots JPEG, it will work with a Mac even if it's not on that list. If a camera doesn't work by plugging in a cable, take the card out and put it in an ordinary USB card reader and the Mac will read it.
Nikon has a slight advantage in that it supports a mode that lets the Mac mount a camera like a disk on the desktop. Canons don't mount on the desktop, but it's not really a disadvantage, because Canons still work great with Apple iPhoto, Apple Aperture, Apple Image Capture, and Adobe apps, and all of those are more efficient ways of transferring photos than dragging them out manually.

Regarding sound, it's simply a matter personal preference. My suggestion is to go to the nearest Apple Store and try out a couple. Each of the products at the store have passed an extensive vetting process. The Specialists are willing to work with you and may even open a box or two. I've been using Logic since it could be used with Digidesign hardware, from version 4.8.1, and it has always worked very well.
It does pay to research the setting up of a DAW computer, as it is almost never just "plug-n-play" like many people believe. But once it is set up, it can run for years without problems. Most people experience problems because they change the setup, install free plugins, change audio gear, every other day of the week, and of course, that makes for a very unstable situation. No wonder they complain. But it is their tech-ethic they should be complaining about, not the equipment.
Can anyone verify there set ups and latency?

Really??? All of them???And did they know they are advising you to buy stuff that actually does NOT work properly??? Shame on those posters you read, as Digidesign drivers are a LOT more stable that the Migraine-Audio ones. Digidesign themselves told me to stay away from M-Audio... so you read into that whatever you like. I'll keep that advise from them.

I've just purchased a *27in (aluminium case) LCD Cinema Display* and am using it with my MacBook Pro, linked by the supplied three-jack cable (Mini DVI display jack).
The 27" display uses Mini DisplayPort, not Mini DVI.
But I also have *a white-cased MacBook (purchased in 2008) which has an older type of display socket*, certainly not compatible with the Mini DVI type.
The early Mac Book uses Mini DVI.

No. Mini DVI is single-link, and does not support the resolution needed for the 27" display.
