ARDAgent SIGKILL messages filling up syslog... any solution?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum - I'm not talking about Server, but Leopard 10.5.6 on my macbook. I have remote desktop enabled (via "Remote Management" in System Preferences->Sharing), and every 5 seconds I get messages like the following:

The only way to stop these (temporarily) is to killall ARDAgent (twice, for some reason). It stops, but then something happens to make it start up again. I haven't figured out what it is that triggers this.
Any ideas what's going on? Syslog eventually starts using significant amounts of CPU to handle these messages, and I shudder to think what it's doing to disk space.

Disk on firewire 800 not recognised until disk on firewire 400 powered up? Any solutions?
I have a Seagate Freeagent connected to firewire 800 and a Maxwell Onetouch connected to the firewire 400. The Seagate is not recognised until I power up the Maxwell but if I power up the Maxwell during before the power up of the seagate the Seagate again is not recognised. The Seagate is the designated Time Machine disk. Also when sleeping (but not always) the Seagate is dropped and I get a "dosk not demounted " message on waking. Any solutions known to these mounting problems with the firewire connections? Thank you.
I am answering my own problem. Install Lion! Problem has been solved. I always thought it was an OS problem. Good news.

My #Username and Password were showing 'Optional'. Filled them in with the correct details (email account login) and that fixed problem. -

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -
As soon as I open iTunes a message pops up to say a problem has stopped it from working and I have to close it. Any solutions?
Start with the third box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
If that doesn't work, use the steps in the second box to repair your iTunes installation. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Update - I deleted/re-added my account. Same issue. Also, no my Exchange calendar won't sync. Issue appears to be on the Exchange server. I see the following errors in my iPhone log:

It appears that you have to buy the applecare within 30 days of buying your phone - you said that your phone warranty is almost over, so when did you buy it??? That could be the explanation for the error. -

There are three steps so make sure you follow all of them. They are:
remove iTunes and everthing related to it
verify everything is really removed
reinstall iTunes. -
