ARE-3 n ARE-1 form

Hi All
What is the difference between ARE-1,ARE-3 and CT3 form and how to create it?
What other documents are there for export and how to create it?
Reward Points for helpful answer
Regards
Ashis

Hi...
ARE3 - it is form for deemed exports and to be iised along with consignment, which is billed without excise duty. and to issue it u need a CT3
like for a deemed export customer .... u first take order and he says it is W/O Excise duty since he can do a deemed exports .. then u nned to ssue a proforma invoice to him and then against this he will issue a CT-3 form from his excsie range ... once u get this Ct-3 u can now issue or deliver the material without excise duty and ARE-3 form from yr premise after inspection by excise officals and then consignment is sent to his place .. once he receives the goods he will call his excise officials and they will warehouse the material and sign the ARE3 which is called as bonding of material.... now u will get the signed ARE3 back and can submit it at your excise range for having prrof that u gave done a deemed exports and not pay the Excise duty on this consignment.
ARE1 : If u r doing exports to some other country , u need to use the ARE1 from .. i.e isse ARE1 after inspection from your excise officals and then it goes to customs and they would fill it and send it back with comments i.e any shortage found etc ... now yuor exise range will stamp and settle this ARE1.
If u r having excsie exemt because of bond or other means that should aaso be recorded.
For exports u need Bill of LAding if Ship transport, Commerical Bill, Tech specs of material being sent, aging report of liner, etc
Reward if useful

  • Cancelled contract lines are populating in the SR form's subject tab when clicking on 'Get Contracts' button

    Cancelled contract lines are populating in the SR form's subject tab when clicking on 'Get Contracts' button. But user says, it should not be populated. What could be the reason? Please suggest.
    I have told the user :
    "In the case of a renewed contract, if the service request is logged during the effectivity of the original contract (which is now Expired), the original contract will be retrieved. If the service request is logged during the effectivity of the renewal contract then only the renewal contract will be retrieved.
      Contract Entitlement on Subject tab is based on Contract Start and End dates. All the contracts i.e. expired, active, cancelled will appear until the end date. As we can see the contract ES-10165 is end dated on 09-DEC-2014, hence it will appear on the subject tab as per the functionality."
    But the User is saying:
    "Contract coverage is clear to be based on dates, and that is quite clear to me as well… the problem comes with the different statuses.
    A SR can be associated to an “EXPIRED” contract line because the SR creation date could be falling between coverage line start and end dates, but can never be related to a “CANCELLED” line.
    This “CANCELLED” status means that the line is not valid for the contract, so if it is not valid for a contract, it is not valid for referencing a job…and this is only creating wrong costs associations."

    Hi Sudhakar,
    Drop inline message components for each of the textFields and the textArea and then run the application. You could also use a message list component but inline message components for each of the input components would give you a clear idea if any errors are occuring. In case any such errors are indeed occuring then the situation can be analysed further.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers

    Our users use a form template to create other adobe forms with calculated fields, signature fields (using digital signatures)
    , and buttons. Will we be able to continue developing these forms if we upgrade to Acrobat DC?

    Hi Alex ,
    In general ,you would not have any issues and problems moving to Acrobat DC .It has a different user interface and with more enhanced features .
    You would be able to develop the kind of forms you are referring to .
    You could refer to the following document to get more information about Acrobat DC .

  • ARE-1 and ARE-3 Forms

    Hi Gurus,
    How to add ECS and SECS values to ARE-1 and ARE-3 Forms.
    We are using ECC 6.0 and patch level is 10.
    Best Regards
    Sri

    This is a typical problem in ARE-1. It displaysonly the BED value by default in the duty column. In some cases it also displays the duty column under the invoice no and invoice number under the duty. This is becasue of the sapscript. The fields need to be mapped correclty. Ask your abapper to mapp all the three values so that they display individually under the duty column and the rebate calmed as a total of the three if applicable ofcourse.

  • Are PL/SQL Package Body Constants in Shared Area or Private Area

    Based on this it not clear to me if PL/SQL Package Body Constants are stored in shared area or private area.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28318/memory.htm
    "PL/SQL Program Units and the Shared Pool
    Oracle Database processes PL/SQL program units (procedures, functions, packages, anonymous blocks, and database triggers) much the same way it processes individual SQL statements. Oracle Database allocates a shared area to hold the parsed, compiled form of a program unit. Oracle Database allocates a private area to hold values specific to the session that runs the program unit, including local, global, and package variables (also known as package instantiation) and buffers for executing SQL. If more than one user runs the same program unit, then a single, shared area is used by all users, while each user maintains a separate copy of his or her private SQL area, holding values specific to his or her session.
    Individual SQL statements contained within a PL/SQL program unit are processed as described in the previous sections. Despite their origins within a PL/SQL program unit, these SQL statements use a shared area to hold their parsed representations and a private area for each session that runs the statement."
    I am also curious what are the fine grained differences from a memory and performance perspective (multi-session) for the two examples below. Is one more efficient?
    Example 1.
    create or replace
    package body
    application_util
    as
    c_create_metadata constant varchar2(6000) := ...
    procedure process_xxx
    as
    begin
    end process_xxx;
    end application_util;
    vs.
    Example 2.
    create or replace
    package body
    application_util
    as
    procedure process_xxx
    as
    c_create_metadata constant varchar2(6000) := ...
    begin
    end process_xxx;
    end application_util;

    >
    What i am asking is fairly granular, so here it is again, let's assume latest version of oracle..
    In a general sense, is the runtime process able to manage memory more effectively in either case, one even slightly more performant, etc
    ie does example 1 have different memory management characteristics than example 2.
    Specifically i am talking about the memory allocation and unallocation for the constant varchar2(6000)
    Ok, a compiler's purpose is basically to create an optimized execution path from source code.
    The constant varchar2(6000) := would exist somewhere in the parse tree/execution path (this is stored in the shared area?).
    I guess among the things i'm after is
    1) does each session use space needed for an additional varchar2(6000) or does runtime processor simply point to the constant string in the parse tree (compiled form which is shared).
    2) if each session requires allocation of space needed for an additional varchar2(6000), then for example 1 and example 2
    at what point does the constant varchar allocation take place and when is the memory unallocated.
    Basically does defining the constant within the procedure have different memory characteristics than defining the constant at the package body level?
    >
    Each 'block' or 'subprogram' has a different scope. So the 'constant' defined in your example1 is 'different' (and has a different scope) than the 'constant' defined in example2.
    Those are two DIFFERENT objects. The value of the 'constant' is NOT assigned until control passes to that block.
    See the PL/SQL Language doc
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14072_01/appdev.112/e10472/fundamentals.htm#BEIJHGDF
    >
    Initial Values of Variables and Constants
    In a variable declaration, the initial value is optional (the default is NULL). In a constant declaration, the initial value is required (and the constant can never have a different value).
    The initial value is assigned to the variable or constant every time control passes to the block or subprogram that contains the declaration. If the declaration is in a package specification, the initial value is assigned to the variable or constant once for each session (whether the variable or constant is public or private).
    >
    Perhaps this example code will show you why, especially for the second example, a 'constant' is not necessarily CONSTANT. ;)
    Here is the package spec and body
    create or replace package pk_test as
      spec_user varchar2(6000);
      spec_constant varchar2(6000) := 'dummy constant';
      spec_constant1 constant varchar2(6000) := 'first constant';
      spec_constant2 constant varchar2(6000) := 'this is the second constant';
      spec_constant3 constant varchar2(6000) := spec_constant;
      procedure process_xxx;
      procedure change_constant;
    end pk_test;
    create or replace package body pk_test as
    procedure process_xxx
    as
      c_create_metadata constant varchar2(6000) := spec_constant;
    begin
      dbms_output.put_line('constant value is [' || c_create_metadata || '].');
    end process_xxx;
    procedure change_constant
    as
    begin
      spec_constant := spec_constant2;
    end change_constant;
    begin
      dbms_output.enable;
      select user into spec_user from dual;
      spec_constant := 'User is ' || spec_user || '.';
    end pk_test;The package init code sets the value of a packge variable (that is NOT a constant) based on the session USER (last code line in package body).
    The 'process_xxx' procedure gets the value of it's 'constant from that 'non constant' package variable.
      c_create_metadata constant varchar2(6000) := spec_constant;The 'change_constant' procedure changes the value of the package variable used as the source of the 'process_xxx' constant.
    Now the fun part.
    execute the 'process_xxx' procedure as user SCOTT.
    SQL> exec pk_test.process_xxx;
    constant value is [User is SCOTT.].Now execute 'process_xxx' as another user
    SQL> exec pk_test.process_xxx;
    constant value is [User is HR.].Now exec the 'change_constant' procedure.
    Now exec the 'process_xxx' procedure as user SCOTT again.
    SQL> exec pk_test.process_xxx;
    constant value is [this is the second constant].That 'constant' defined in the 'process_xxx' procedure IS NOT CONSTANT; it now has a DIFFERENT VALUE.
    If you exec the procedure as user HR it will still show the HR constant value.
    That should convince you that each session has its own set of 'constant' values and so does each block.
    Actually the bigger memory issue is the one you didn't ask about: varchar2(6000)
    Because you declared that using a value of 6,000 (which is 2 ,000 or more) the actual memory allocation not done until RUN TIME and will only use the actual amount of memory needed.
    That is, it WILL NOT pre-allocate 6000 bytes. See the same doc
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14072_01/appdev.112/e10472/datatypes.htm#CJAEDAEA
    >
    Memory Allocation for Character Variables
    For a CHAR variable, or for a VARCHAR2 variable whose maximum size is less than 2,000 bytes, PL/SQL allocates enough memory for the maximum size at compile time. For a VARCHAR2 whose maximum size is 2,000 bytes or more, PL/SQL allocates enough memory to store the actual value at run time. In this way, PL/SQL optimizes smaller VARCHAR2 variables for performance and larger ones for efficient memory use.
    For example, if you assign the same 500-byte value to VARCHAR2(1999 BYTE) and VARCHAR2(2000 BYTE) variables, PL/SQL allocates 1999 bytes for the former variable at compile time and 500 bytes for the latter variable at run time.
    >
    So when you have variables and don't know how much space is really needed do NOT do this:
    myVar1 VARCHAR2(1000);
    myVar2 VARCHAR2(1000);
    myVar3 VARCHAR2(1000);The above WILL allocate 3000 bytes of expensive memory even if it those variables are NEVER used.
    This may look worse but, as the doc states, it won't really allocate anything if those variables are not used. And when they are used it will only use what is needed.
    myVar1 VARCHAR2(2000);
    myVar2 VARCHAR2(2000);
    myVar3 VARCHAR2(2000);

  • Developer 6i,Item type "User Area" and "Bean Area"

    kindly I want to know how to use item type "user area" and "Bean Area",i never used them and i didnt find good help about them,and i appreciate any help with examples.

    Hello,
    I have forgotten what is the user area because it has disapear with the 9i version.
    The bean area allows you to put some java bean component inside your Forms module.
    Check out the demos available on the Forms OTN page

  • What are the steps are Shared services backup and schema back

    Hi
    I am new in Hyperion .. can anybody tell me what are the steps are in the shared services back up and schema back up ...
    Regards
    Praetorian

    If it is fora a demo i would advise you to extract all the files (metadata, Rule, Security, Data forms, Grids, ICP reports, Data etc) so that this can be restored on any machine from which you wish to give demo.
    If you which to take database backup it will take backup of all the HFM applications in that server. And when you restore the backup it will refresh all the applications which might result in changes to other applications which you may not want.
    For taking backup of database/schema go to the udl file and identify the schema for which you wish to take backup.
    Then type the command to take DB backup.
    Kindly mark the post helpful if you find so.

    I have checked with ISP, there response is like below:
    Those are the NNI to GBNET IPs for Dominican Republic. They are Network IPs. You should be able to ping them-that means they are working.

    Here its shows from any of our MPLS site we are able to trace the IP and it seems like, 192.168.20.204/30 is one more site but in actual its not.

    When I create a playlist and sync it to my iPhone not all of the songs on the playlist transfer over.  All of the songs are there and are playable they just do not show up on the playlist.  For example, in itunes on my computer a playlist has over 100 songs, but when I sync my phone, my iphone only shows 60 songs.  I can go into my phone and add the missing songs to the playlist, but the next time I sync my phone the songs are gone again.

    Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
    To close apps:   Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
    To solve internet problem, contact your provider.   Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies.   Your router may be old and slow.

  • Def of dunning area and valuation area

    hi,
    pls tell me the exact defintions of dunning area and valuation area,

    Dunning areas are used if several organizational units are responsible for carrying out dunning within one company code. These organizational units are referred to as dunning areas. The dunning area can correspond, for example, to a profit center, a distribution channel, a sales organization or a business area.
    This is a combination betwwen SD and FI
    Organizational level at which the material is valuated. A valuation area can be one of the following:
    Plant
    All plants belonging to a company code, in which case the valuation area is the company code
    This is used in MM and can be used to assign in MM G/L accounts to a valuation area.
    It possible that valuation area is used on other places to with a compleet differenrt functionality

  • Local roll area and Roll area

    Please refer to following contents from TADM12_2:
    1. Virtual Memory includes local memory and shared memory.
    2. Local memory is associated with individual work processes.
    3. Local work processes memory is for: ABAP load; Data, stack; Buffer for database transfer; Local roll area; Local paging area.
    4. The roll file and its associated buffer(also called Roll area).
    5. The page file and its associated buffer(also called (SAP) Paging area).
    In t-code ST02,
    1. the first part is Buffer, all of them belong to shared memory.
    2. the second part is SAP Memory, there are four sub-items:
        a)Roll area
        b)Page area
        c)Extended memory  --> in shared memory
        d)Heap memory  --> in local memory
    I am confused whether Roll Area and Page Area here means local Roll/Paging Area in local memory, or Roll/Paging Buffer in shared memory?
    Please advise. Thanks
    James

    Hi James,
    Roll Area and page area allocated on local memory, and their buffer areas are allocated on local memory, also. This is because roll and page area are first two block on memory diagram. Those memory areas are dedicated to a work process and start to use when extented memory is filled up. Take a look at "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/28/d1d3f6bcb411d188b30000e83539c3/frameset.htm" for the memory diagram on SAP
