Are BI Publisher P4P Views Expected to Go Out Soon?
At the Users Group Meeting in May 2013 there was discussion of some standard views being created/developed for P4P to BIP. Has anything like that been release yet? If not, is there an anticipated release timeframe? Thanks, BeckieC
2 reporting packs have now been released since user group and we have another one coming soon. Take a look at the reporting guide in the latest extensibility pack, it lists all of the reports and views available.

There are always new MacBook Pro models coming out soon. However with current 2011 models you can install the faster, Rosetta program loving OS X Snow Leopard with a hack, instead of the new clitchy and unstable OS X Lion.
So you have a choice now, but for not much longer. If you wait another 6 -8 months, Lion will be stable and more programs will be compatible with it.
If this is your first Mac, I would wait. If you can do a simple hack with another Snow Leopard Mac, then you can opt to get one now and revert it to Snow Leopard and have a stable machine.
Else take your chances with Lion. -
Imovie quits unexpectedly whenever I try to publish, or view full screen. How do I fix that?
This error keeps popping up whenever I try to publish or view full screen. I've tried a few different suggestions, but nothing has worked. Can anyone help me with this!?!?

How do I show what folders files are in in list view? MacGenius NO help.
I recently went to the Natick Mall Mac Store to see a MacGenuis. I had two issues. The first was whether it is possible to view what files my documents and photos are in in list view, as I used to be able to view on my PC. The MacGenius tried to sell me a one-on-one lesson. When I asked how a lesson would help if it was not a possiblity, he told me to right click each document or photo to get that information. That is exactly the cumbersome, time consuming an inefficient process I was trying to avoid. I asked if he was aware of any third party software that could provide that function, and he said no.
A little more research on my own shows that if you put your cursor on the item, the information shows up in the bar at the bottom of the finder screen. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but certainly more efficient and quicker than right clicking on each individual item, and I can at least toggle back and forth to compare documents and photos in multiple locations so I can delete those no longer needed without having to worry about doing an extra step and moving docs in and out of individual folders to re-consolidate them and delete uneccessary copies. (I have extras because I do legal work and have to keep copies of all items submitted in a single court filing together, but may need the same photos or docs in other court filings, which also have their own folders so I have a complete set of what was filed in each filing).
Shouldn't the MacGenius have known about this function as an option for finding folders? He also told me I could not back up my computer on a disk I had previously used for a back up because the new back up would wipe out everything previously backed up.
I also asked him about the whirling colored circle which I seem to be getting a lot of lately. He "checked" my computer and determined that I need a new battery (mine had slightly over 450 cycles, according to him) and my hard drive is failing. All could be repaired for a little over $300. I was told I could not do the repair myself, it had to be done by a Mac technician, and that the parts could only be purchased at the Mac store and they don't sell the parts except to Mac technicians.
I was dubious, only because the MacGenius was consistently unhelpful and consistently tried to sell me items. I did stop and look at some PCs, figuring if my Mac was on its way out I would back up my docs and photos to a new PC and save a ton of time and money because I could consolidate on the PC which would show what folders my docs and photos were in - and use the PC for a backup drive until the Mac dies.
I got Tech Tool Pro 6 and ran the diagnostics. All of which contradicted what the MacGenius told me, and gives me multiple options for backups without having to buy multiple backup drives for fear of having prior backups overwritten. So I don't need a new computer, I have an acceptable, altho less than desirable, way of telling what folders my items are in, and Tech Tool's optimization fixed the whirling "wait" cirle.
The only thing left is to ask if anyone has a hint or knows of software available that will in list (or other) view what folders my docs are in.
Except to ask, has anyone else experienced such disappointing help and annoying upsell from a MacGenius? In all fairness, the few times in the past that I have been helped by a MacGenius, they were extremely helpful and didn't try to sell me anything (altho my computer was new and still under warranty).Customize the Finder window toolbar, adding the Path icon to it. Select an item and click on the Path icon or, as you already know, add path to the window. There's also copypath.app available via the App Store.

I have added an iPhone 4 to my household and the wifi in our home no longer works for my iPhone 4S or the new iPhone 4. Both will connect to the wifi, but we are not able to view anything i.e. google just runs circles, app store just runs loading, gps on maps not found just runs? I have check all wifi issues with ATT&T, Verizon network all believe that it is the phones? I am confused as my 4S worked fine before adding the 4 to the mix....any thoughts are hits to what to do

RGNot exactly. The portal role will contain the queries in its definition - what you can simply do is to assign the portal role to the user IDs. The creation of the portal role will be done by the portal guy and you will have to give the definition of which role will contain what queries. Examples of roles might be 'FI' or maybe 'Sales Planning' etc.

XML Template are not publish in EBS

I've create Invoice Voucher in BI Publisher and it's working fine in EBS. But I have to print this report from Invoice Workbench so I have done it by the help of Form Personalization but when I run this report from Invoice Workbench the template are not publishing its only generate XML.

In BI Answers we can get data from multiple subject Areas but we cannot do the drill down.

Lightroom 5.6 When I try to publish the photos from Lightroom to SmugMug I get an error Canceling task at the top left side and the photos are not published. I have published photos before just last week so not sure whats going on. Any help would be great.

Trashing the preference file may help, as I've outlined in the topic I've linked to. Otherwise, follow the steps regarding removing 3rd party QuickTime components. Also, see the final post by the OP (EEye87) regarding how his problem was resolved (a combination of trashing the preference file and the 3ivx component).

Photoshop images are grainy when I view/edit them
I have used Photoshop CS3 for a year now with my 15-megapixel DSLR camera and used to be able to edit photos in PS just fine. But about 2 months ago I upgraded to CS4 and since then, all my images are super grainy when viewing and editing them in PS. I know it has nothing to do with the way I'm saving the images as they show grainy in photoshop before I even do anything to them. And when uploading them online, they're still super grainy even though they weren't before back when I was using CS3
Anyone have any idea why?Well, that's the thing. The camera settings are the exact same as they were when I was running CS3 when everything was fine. The only variable that changed was installing CS4. After I did that, even though the camera settings DID NOT change, the images all of a sudden became grainy
I thought it may be a hardware issue so I upgraded the video card to one that greatly exceeds the requirements, but still no joy. I also did the Ctrl+Alt+Shift method to clear settings in case there was a rougue setting somewhere that was causing it. Still no luck -
