Hi,
Ok as you know I've done a bit of moaning about BT Infinity or lack of. Well today tops the lot:-
Had an email today me that it would be better for me to change my infinity options from 1 to 2 as I've gone over the 40GB on option  1.
You What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok thats not good to be told that But wow hang on I've not even got BT infinity yet,
So I go back to the thread heading " are bt for real "

Reply from mod, oh thats easy the files for hd are some huge that sky go can't play them and no app can stream hd due to this and so when they say they are they're really sd streams, if there was any way around this we would have done it now.

Hamish72, I never tho about that lol. Spoke to them yesterday and asked them what they are playing at and have just checked my bill and the Infinity Option 1 has been removed from my account.
I just know that this is going to come back and bite me in the  ?     when they get thier act together and get infinity up and running around here.

    If you have such issue for Xth time, then seems like it's not the graphics card but possibly PSU
    Anyways, for complaints, returns, warranty, you have to contact MSI ; >>How to contact MSI.<< Or seller you got the card(s) from.

  • Can a derived depreciation area be a real area for depreciation postings?

    Example :
    Book area 1 (real)        : $100,000
    Area 2 (not real)          : $120,000
    Derived area                : Area 2 minus Area 1 = $20,000 (depreciation calculation based on this)
    Is above possible?

    Hi,
    the F1 Help of the field "real depreciation area" says:
    Set this indicator if you want the system to store the values of this depreciation area in the database (meaning that the area is not a derived depreciation area). The values in this area are then updated each time a posting is made, and can be immediately evaluated.

  • Pxi 1042 configuration for Real-Time

    I have purchased
    PXI-1042
    controller 8187
    one module for data capturing.
    I want to configure the said pxi for Real-Time purposes,
    so what steps should I follow?
    thanks
    Abbas
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    The Real-Time Deployment License is different from the LabVIEW RT module.
    When you purchase a PXI controller, part of what you are buying is the operating system that is installed on it.  If you purchased the controller with Windows on it then you purchased the copy of Windows that came with it.  Now that you want to put the real-time operating system on it, you need to purchase the license for it.
    But that's all legal stuff.
    And you are correct that there is a copy of the RTOS on the controller.  But if your controller has its disk formatted as NTFS you will not be able to use it.   The RTOS requires that the hard drive be FAT32.
    If your controller is FAT32 then you can boot into BIOS (hit delete while booting), and select Real-Time in the Boot Configuration to make your controller boot into Real-Time.
    If you controller is not FAT32 then you will need to format the controller first, using the disks I have previously mentioned.
    Please let me know if you have any questions.

  • MAX support of SNTP for Real-time controllers

    Hey everyone,
    I have some PXI systems that allow me to enter a Time Server IP address directly into the MAX setup for the device but I have some other PXI chassis that don't. Does this have to do with the version of Real-time they are running? Can anyone tell me what version of RT and MAX started supporting Time Servers natively through MAX for real-time controllers?
    Thanks,
    Craig

    Hi craige,
    It looks like SNTP synchronization is not fully supported for PXI systems:
    http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Configuring-PXI-8184-controller-to-synchronize-to-SNTP-server/td-p/1...
    However, for CompactRIO, synchronization with SNTP servers began with LabVIEW Real-Time 8.6:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/F2B057C72B537EA2862572D100646D43
    The forum post I linked above does have some links to customer created examples relating to NTP and SNTP Time Servers.
    Please note that those examples are both unsupported and a little bit on the older side.

  • Question for REAL ActionScript 3 Gods

    Prove you ARE an ActionScript 3 God by solving and exposing here (or in private) a valid way to store classes as SharedObject,  and RECOVER THEM LATER AFTER A WEB PAGE RELOADS IN A READY TO USE STATE.
    I personally tried everything I know including ByteArray and flash.net functions, but sadly (and very disappointing) I could not do it. I solved many unbelievable things in ActionScript 3 so I guess I can exchange one secret for another if you're not willing to share with the community.
    Are there any REAL ActionScript 3 Gods ?

    Thank you for your answer. I tried but those won't help.

    Please take a look at the following (please ignore the incompletness of the code ... listeners missing and possible errors not handled):
    Use the first class as document class for a fla at your choice. I named mine 'classToSharedObject.fla'.
    package {
        import flash.display.Loader;
        import flash.display.MovieClip;
        import flash.net.URLRequest;
        import flash.net.SharedObject;
        import flash.utils.*;
        import flash.net.*;
        public class manyKitties extends MovieClip {
            public var loader:Loader;
            public var object:Object;
            public var structure:Class;
            public var sharedObject:SharedObject=SharedObject.getLocal('ZCZC','/');
            public var passedInfo:Boolean=true;
            public function manyKitties() {
                if (sharedObject.size>0) {
                    trace('The SharedObject which holds one system domain class and one runtime class has a size of '+sharedObject.size+' bytes. Is this ok ?!?!');
                    //sharedObject.data.theClass is declared below in function ripClass
                    //fail
                    for (var prop in sharedObject.data.theClass) {
                        trace(prop);
                    //fail
                    trace(sharedObject.data.theClass as Class);
                    //fail
                    //object=new structure(passedInfo);
                    //txt is a TextField on the stage
                    //txt.text=new structure(passedInfo).aProperty;
                } else {
                    sharedObject.clear();
                    loader=new Loader  ;
                    loader.load(new URLRequest('runtimeStructure.swf'));
                    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener('complete',ripClass);
            public function ripClass(e) {
                try {
                    structure=loader.contentLoaderInfo.applicationDomain.getDefinition('ripMe') as Class;
                    object=new structure(passedInfo);
                    //aProperty is a public string in runtimeStructure.swf: 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog'
                    txt.text=object.aProperty;
                    //as can be seen, the class is loaded and used correctly
                    //now I will try to store the runtime class locally
                    //this is just the easiest example. I tried many versions, including
                    //ByteArray and registerClassAlias but I failed
                    // ... maybe I'm too focused and I can't see the obvious
                    sharedObject.data.theClass=structure;
                    //Why not store also a system domain class ? Let's store this also
                    var systemDomainClass:Class=getDefinitionByName("flash.display.MovieClip") as Class;
                    sharedObject.data.disc=systemDomainClass;
                    //Maybe we just can't store directly Classes. ByteArray should work
                    //two byte arrays, one with a runtime class, one with a system domain class
                    var ba1:ByteArray=new ByteArray  ;
                    ba1.writeObject(structure);
                    sharedObject.data.BA1=ba1;
                    var ba2:ByteArray=new ByteArray  ;
                    ba2.writeObject(systemDomainClass);
                    sharedObject.data.BA2=ba2;
                    sharedObject.flush();
                } catch (e:Error) {
    This is where I try to use classes stored locally. Below is a basic runtime class (use it as document class for 'runtimeStructure.fla').
    package {
        import flash.display.MovieClip;
        public class ripMe extends MovieClip {
            public var aProperty:String = 'OMG! Many Kitties';
            public function ripMe(youPassMeSomeInfo:Boolean = false) {
                if (youPassMeSomeInfo) aProperty = 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog';
                //txt is a TextField on the stage
                txt.text = aProperty;
    As is expected, the first time it runs, classToSharedObjectswf will show a TextField with 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog' as content.
    The second time is run will display as text: 'IF YOU SEE THIS TEXT THE SECOND TIME THE SWF RUNS, MEANS THAT WE FAILED AND WE HAVE TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE.'
    If you test in the authoring environment you will be able to see also the trace actions.
    Any ideas, suggestions?!
    I will come back later with a more complex failed try (too tired now).

  • Service/Database Accounts - NT SERVICE\MSSQLSERVER & NT SERVICE\SQLSERVERAGENT - what are they for?

    Hi Guys,
    I’ve done a fair amount of research for this question but just cannot seem to find the answer to my question in simple, non-DBA, terms.
    Server 2008 R2
    SQL 2008 R2
    There are 2 users in the system database logins (NT SERVICE\MSSQLSERVER, NT SERVICE\SQLSERVERAGENT) … what are they for? It appears that they
    are accounts to run the corresponding Windows services but yet they cannot be selected from the list of available built-in accounts, local accounts or domain accounts.
    Also, I am using a couple of domain user accounts to run the services, do I need to add them to the database? I changed the service accounts from NETWORK
    SERVICE to the domain user accounts using the SQL Configuration Manger which is supposed to take care of managing the user group membership and registry changes but the domain accounts are not in the database …. The services appear to be running fine.
    Thanks

    In basic terms:
    As you say, in the SQL Server Database Engine there are two logins;
    NT SERVICE\MSSQLSERVER and NT SERVICE\SQLSERVERAGENT. The Database Engine runs in Windows as a Windows service named
    MSSQLSERVER. The NT SERVICE\MSSQLSERVER login is used by the service to connect to the Database Engine. Basically, this is how it connects to itself. The SQL Server Agent runs as a Windows service named
    NT SERVICE\SQLSERVERAGENT. The NT SERVICE\SQLSERVERAGENT
    login is how the Windows process that is SQL Server Agent connects to the Database Engine to read the
    msdb database to find out what it should do; and then do it. Both of these logins are members of the
    sysadmin fixed server role, so they can do anything in the Database Engine. And they need to stay that way.
    No, they can't be selected in the list of available built-in accounts, local accounts or domain accounts. This is because they are services, not accounts. They have a security identifier (SID) in Windows,
    but Windows knows they aren't real users. Windows can authenticate them, but they don't have passwords that any human can use. If you run
    lusrmgr.msc and look at the groups, you will see groups like
    SQLServerMSSQLUser$computername$MSSQLSERVER and NT SERVICE\MSSQLSERVER
    is a member of the group.
    As for the account that you used to run the services, this is complicated and has changed from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 and now again in SQL Server Code Named 'Denali'. The short answer is that
    the account you specify will be used when a process tries to reach outside of the current Windows environment. But within the computer, there is a mix of authorization granted to the domain user, the service, and the Windows group
    SQLServerMSSQLUser$computername$MSSQLSERVER.
    The good news is that SQL Server Configuration Manager figures out all the stuff you need when you change the accounts. If you are a glutton for punishment, you can get an idea for how complicated this
    is by looking at the Denali documentation where I have tried to provide more specific information. (Note this is not the same as SQL Server 2008.) You can see it at:

  • Data inconsistency: Area 30 for value takeover is missing

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to enter Asset Transaction: Asset Sale Without Customer (ABAON) but I am getting the error below:
    Data inconsistency: Area 30 for value takeover is missing
    Message no. AAPO105
    Diagnosis
    According to its formula, depreciation area 31 is defined for mandatory takeover of values from depreciation area 30. However, depreciation area 30 was not posted during the current transaction (chart of depreciation MY01). This is not allowed.
    Procedure
    Check the specifications for the current transaction type.
    I have checked OAYZ configuration. Area 30 does not have a 'Deactivate' tick on it. What does the Deactivate tick mean? If I need to change and tick it, how do I so since it is grayed out?
    I hope someone can help me out with this.
    Thanks,
    Josef

    Hi Josef,
    This might be due to new depreciation area addition recently, is it ?
    For the message in AFBN,
    Depreciation area  that you entered in chart of depreciation cannot be processed, as this program can only process real depreciation areas and not derived areas.
    If it is a derived depreciation area then this program not works.
    Based on initial error message it appears 31 is deriving values from 30. You might have run AFBN for area 30. Please check what the parameters in area 30. Some time dep.area defined as derived can be a real dep.area if it is the differences derived value from other dep.areas.
    In that case please check the link back where exactly the values should come and flow.

  • "Waiting for real-time target (RT PXI target) to respond" error when the program waits interrupts

    Hi there,
    I have developed an application to detect interrupts generated by a electronic card and act in consequence. The program has been developed in labview but it calls a dll; that was created with labwindows. The dll is programmed to open the visa communication, enable events and install the interrupt handler and when an interrupt is detected, it reads the value of the different registers of the card and returns it to labview to visualize them.
    The problem is that when the program waits for an interrupt, a prompt appears with the message "Waiting for real-time target (RT PXI target) to respond" and the only option I have is to click on the button to disconnect from the pxi or just wait. If I wait and I generate an interrupt, the prompt disappears and the application visualize the data like it was expected.
    To wait for the interrupt the following code has been programmed in the function:
                    while (flag == 0)
                                    Sleep (1000);
    When an interrupt occurs, the value of flag changes to 1 and the function continue without any problem. I am not really sure, but probably here is the problem and probably this is not the best way to wait for an interrupt because the sleep function suspends the thread for the configured time, but at least the computing load in the PXI is between 0% and 1%. I was wondering if somebody knows how to wait for an interrupt without "lost" the communication with the PXI and if there is a better way to do it.
    Any answer will be welcome and thanks for them,
    Jaime
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello Naity,
    First of all, in which thread runs the waiting process? Is it scheduled in another thread than the function setting the flag?
    It scheduled in the same thread that I use to configure the communications and configure the card. Anyway, here is the pseudo code of the function interrupt that I programmed under labwindows,.
    char* interrupt(void)
    1. Open visa communications
    2.Install handler interrupt --> status = viInstallHandler (instr, VI_EVENT_PXI_INTR, IntrHandler, VI_NULL);   // the function IntrHandler will be called when an interrupt occurs
    3. Enable event PXI interrupt
    4. Wait
    while (flag == 0)
                  Sleep (1000);
    5. Visualize the data coming from the interrupt (registers and values measured with the card)
    6. Uninstall handler interrupt
    7. Close visa session
    The interrupt handler function IntrHandler is called immediately when an interrupt occurs and the pseudo code is like this
    ViStatus _VI_FUNCH IntrHandler(ViSession instr, ViEventType etype, ViEvent event, ViAddr userhandle)
    1. Disable some functions of the card to avoid damages.
    2. Read registers and put them in a buffer
    3. Change the value of flag ---> flag = 1;
    In labview, I call the function interrupt with a call library function node (see the capture attached) and the program reads and saves the data from returned from the function.
    Secondly, I am not sure this method is the most elegant. You could for example register an event with the function and, insteand of setting a flag to 1, trigger the event and schedule it in another thread (if the function is thread safe). This could reduce your CPU Load even more and seem a bit cleaner to me.
    I've never used events before in labwindows but I will try to do it in this way. But anyway, I suppose that I should; somehow, wait the event to occurs in labview while the waiting for the event is programmed inside the dll...and probably the same prompt that i am trying to avoid is going to appear again, because I am not returning the "control" to labview (I mean, labview executes the dll and waits for the event to occur. Then the execution of the labview program is stopped in the call library function node executing the dll)
    Third point, which environment of development are you using?
    I am working with LV 2010 sp1 and Labwindows cv 10.0.1 and with the real time module.
    I did also another test, I divided the program in different functions, one to initialize the communication, another to wait until a interrupt has been detected and the other to obtain the data from the interrupt and close communications. With labview I call first with the call library function node the function to initialize, later I call inside a while loop the wait function like this
    int waitAseconds (double seconds, short stop_waiting)
    if(flag==1 || stop_waiting == 1)
    flag = 1; //to detect the stop_waiting button
    printf("flagAA =1 stop waiting = %d time = %d\n", stop_waiting, clock());
    return flag;
    else
    SleepUS(seconds*1000000);
    //a++;
    printf("flag a= %d stop waiting = %d time = %d\n", flag, stop_waiting, clock());
    return flag;
     and when the program detects an interrupt, the function returns to labview the flag and stops the loop. Finally, it reads the values and close communications.
    In this way, the prompt appears but after running the application for 10 or 20 minutes and also i checked that there is a time gap between the executions in the loop.
    Thanks for your reply and your help,
    Jaime

    Firstly I updated my ipad into ios7 and after watching the video by Apple, iWork, pages and numbers are free for download after updating iOS 7. How can I download iWork pages and number for free? Please help me.

    stevejobsfan is correct; iwork for ios is free only for new purchases of new ios devices. A good work around (if you have wifi connectivity) is going to the icloud website on your ipad, and working on your document.
    A word of caution (the real reason I am responding to your post). If you do a lot of 'formatting' of a document on iwork for mac, and then save it in icloud; you will probably loose most of the formatting you have done (this will be true if you oppen the document in iwork for ios; also) It happened to me, and I did not duplicate the document before saving it to icloud; I lost at least an hours worth of work.
