Are colors for group calendars global or defined for each user.

If you change the color of a group calendar in iCal, does it change for everyone who is using that calendar or just change for the local user who changed it? I'd like to change the color of some group calendars I have in iCal at work, but I don't want to affect everyone else subscribed to that calendar.

I don't know if this is possible. If I have a calendar that is green. Every event I set up in that calendar is green. So if you have a full day of events each day on the calendar just looks like this mass of green.
Is there any way (as I've seen in other calendar apps.) to change the color for each event so that they stand out more.
I see references on the net to an iCal plugin called iCalibrate which seems to do this but it also doesn't seem to be available any more? But it said...

Ok I found a similar question on this forum that was answered and helped. If anyone comes across this wondering the same thing, copy and paste your SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css file and rename the copy to something like "(Title_Of_Page)SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css" and then replace "SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css" in your code to <link href="../SpryAssets/(Title_Of_Page)SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css" and then you are good to go.

Hi,
Take a look at this example, it uses property nodes to select tha
active plot and then changes the color of that plot.
If you want to make the number of plots dynamic you could use a for
loop and an array of color boxes.

I am trying to access portal first time using j2ee_admin user. It is saying "No portal roles are assigned for this user.If this problem persists, contact your system administrator."

SD - Accounting document line items are generating for each item

Hi all of you,
We have done account determination for SD. Accounting documents are also generating, but with in the invoice accounting document, number of line items are generating for each item with in the sales order, standard invoice type is F2 like -
Item 001 - X Material
Item 002 - Y Material
Item 003 - Z Material
The accounting document is -
Line Item 001 - Customer Ac Dr
Line Item 002 - Discount A/c Dr
Line Item 003 - Sales revenue
Line Item 004 - Discount A/c Dr
Line Item 005 - Sales Revenue
Line Item 006 - Discount A/c Dr
Line Item 007 - Sales revenue
Line Item 008 - VAT
Even, in my experience I did not find this type of entry and the sales revenue and discount accounts are same with in the COA and is posted with in the plant.
Please give me your valuable suggestion to rectify the above issue.

Dear Ramki,
This is SAP Standard. System generates Accounting document line item for each Line items in Invoice.
This is standard & also required bacuase say you have different Material types in single Invoice (e.g.Material & Service items, Trading Goods, etc). The valuation class assigned to these Material Types may be different & you might want to post revenues from these Line items in different GL Accounts.

Attached is the LV 8.0 version. I also added a control as described by Evan because I hadn't thought of it originally, but it is probably the best option -- it places text on color and doesn't require a loop to update.

Oracle does not know the difference between an "application user" and a "database user".
Oracle deals with a session. This session services a client. The client can be a J2EE application. It can be a Delphi client. It can be a SQL*Plus command line tool. It can be TOAD. Etc.
Oracle does not care who/what/where the client is when dealing with cursors and SQL. It deals with the session that services that client.
How many cursors does a session have opened?
Refer to V$OPEN_CUSOR in [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/dynviews_2008.htm#sthref3807]Oracle® Database Reference.
A select count on V$OPEN_CURSOR for a specific SID (Session ID) will return the number of open cursor handles in that session.

Optimize Specific Matte color for each slice?

Hi,
I have a document filled with text and slices that gets
exported as transparent gifs. Sort of a repository of all
text-images I use for a site that has different background colors
for different parts of the pages.
Problem:
When I select a slice, or multiple slices and select a matte
color in the optimize window, Fireworks sets the matte color for
the entire document for all slices.
Question:
Is it possible for Fireworks to remember which matte color I
set for each slice, so I dont have to set the matte color for each
slice (or set of slices) each time I want to export? Why doesn't
the matte color "stick" to the slice? Or am I missing something?

The matte color is based on the web layer, not specific
slices, the
theory being (I guess) that the images would be matted
against a web
page background color, which would be the same over the whole
page. So
each time you change the color, FW changes it for all slices.
One option - though not very automatic, would be to select
your slices,
then go to File > Image Preview slices. You can set the
matter color for
them in the preview window. Once complete, you can select the
other
slices and go through the same process, changing the matte
color. Make
sure to check of "Export Selected Slices Only" before you do
the actual
save.
Not elegant, but maybe it will save you some
time/frustration.
While no means a perfect solution, in FW CS3, you can have
multiple page
and each page can have its own web layer so you could work
with your
slices in this manner, but that is probably more work than
it's worth
and could be more complex from a maintenance perspective.

How can I set for each user group (or for each user) which dashboard will be opened as the deefault after login?

Under Settings->My account->Preferences->User can select his default dashboard.Is it ok?
If you dont want them to select that option,you need to redirect them...You can use that blog....

SharePoint: Workflow to retrieve all users and Create list item record for each user

My share point site have two Lists as Holidays and MyCalender.
Actually Holiday is simple non-Calender list with field as Holiday Date, Reason. MyCalender List Calender type list with Person Look-up column and user can see his own record. User of Manager group will declare holiday. This Holiday should get reflected
on each user 's MyCalender List.[One listitem as holiday date and reason for each user] so everyone can view that record.
I have requirement as Manager will create one Holiday record and then run single workflow so for all users present in SharePoint Site, one MyCalender List Item record should get created. Is it possible to do using Workflow?? Please help as I didn't get any

You don't need one workflow per user when a filtered view can do this for you. If the manager's list is the parent calendar, I'm assuming that he'll be at least using the person look-up column.
Whether this feeds through the MyCalendar or stays where it is, you can use the [Me] parameter within the filter on a new view. This will then return the assigned holiday filtering against the account that is logged in.

I want to limit bandwidth to users. Each user must have own speed. For each user I define class-map and policy-map. But I have many users (above 500), but class-map limits 256 :(. How I can resolve my problem?
