  • Are custom ContextMenu supported for Sprite objects?

    Hello,
I have a component that dynamically create and attach as
child some Sprite objects. I'd like to provide a contextual menu
for those visual elements, but I noticed that, even by default,
right-clicking on them displays a different menu than the usual one
(it seems to contains all the flash menu items - zoom, rewind,
etc., while the flex one only show a few).
Attaching a flash.ui.ContextMenu object to the .contextMenu
property of those Sprite doesn't produce any effect: the same items
are still displayed. If I attach the same ContextMenu object to
another component (e.g. an UIComponent), it works as it should.
Note that I set the mousEnabled property for those Sprite,
and I'm able to handle the standard mouse events (click, enter..).
    Is this a known limitation?
    Thank you
    Cosma

    Izhar,
I would suggest going to the Business Objects Support site and doing a search on "portal integration kit" (and before clicking on search, choose your product via the "Products:" indicator, as well as choosing the Document Types of "Kbase Articles", "Product Documentation", and "Technical Papers").

  • Writing Custom Queries (Logical SQL to Physical SQL)

What is the recommended method for writing cross-subject area custom queries against the HCM database? Is there a published data model available for reference?

    Hi Experts,
    Please help on this.

  • HT1338 I am trying to setup my external drive, but when I do, I get a box that pops up that says You can't open the application "LaCie Setup Assistant" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported".

When trying to setup my external hard drive, I get this box that pops up and says this:
You can’t open the application “LaCie Setup Assistant” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

PowerPC was a type of processor used in Mac systems before Apple switched to Intel-based processors. These older chips required applications to be coded differently, to the extent that they will not run on the Intel processors in newer Macs. Apple used to include a translator that allowed these programs to at least run, but this translator is no longer available so if you run into an older PowerPC-based program then OS X will give you this error.

You need to upgrade to Office 2008 or newer, or switch to a product such as OpenOffice or iWork.

  • Export - custom queries and reports, and security profiles

We would like to keep a copy of our customizations to the application.
There are ways to import queries, reports and profiles into the app.  Is there any way to export the following to something like a CSV file for the following:
    - custom queries (all tabs)
    - custom reports (all tabs)
    - security profiles (custom and out of box u2013 all access rights)
    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Jerry,
There are no standard queries that extract security profiles, Query Groups, Reports or Query Defintiions from the system.
However you can build custom queries that support this functionality.  During an implementation project I created some custom queries which allowed you to extract these objects for documenting purposes  We likely could supply these to you through SAP Consulting.  Please reach out to your SAP rep and have them Contact Me.  I have created some instruction that explain how to create these.

  • Custom queries

    Hi,
I have an existing business entity interface hierarchy that I have mapped, let's call it IAnimal, with subclasses, for example, of IDog and ICat
These entities are maintained within a logical repository structure (i.e. a folder hierarchy). I want to perform paged querying, with the order based upon the repository folder structure full path name.
I can use Oracle features to do the hierarchical query, and have custom application code to handle the paging: provided I can query the business entity AND it's repository folder full path name in one hit.
Is there a mapping that support's this?
Ideally I would have a new concrete type, something like IAnimalSearchResult that contains two attributes, an[i] IAnimal reference and a simple String field representing the full path....
So querying on[i] IAnimalSearchResult would return all IAnimals (and sub types thereof), as well as its location in the repository.
Can I map "Container/Delegated attributes" like this?
Can I map my dynamically generated query result to a class attribute?
    Thanks
    Mike

First, yes the default queries for an attribute mapping can be overridden with custom queries.
    collectionMapping.setSelectionQuery(customReadAllQuery);
However given that this mapping would need to be readonly I would recommend having the getter in your application simply execute the TopLink query to retreive the results. The only benefit to mapping would be to make use of the TopLink's refresh functionality.

  • Have can't open iphot because power pc apps are no longer supported

I recently burned up an 8 year old Mac (all in one machine) for lack of better terminology.
It was replaced with a MacMini so I could connect to an existing monitor.
Upon launching, I have an error, when I open iPhoto or iDVD, etc that says:  Can't open Iphoto because power pc apps are no longer supported.
What do I need to do now?
I'm assuming the software I had originally on my old machine is outdated?  But I also thought it was pre loaded with all the basic stuff.
AS you can tell I'm not the biggest user............ but I would like to be!

Sounds like someone restored your programs from you old PowerPC-based system to your new system, probably running OS X 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion. Apple dropped the capability to run PowerPC-based code in these systems. You can go to Launch pad and access the App Store to buy updated versions of the iLife programs. However, iDvd is no longer available from Apple. You can buy iLife in a box from sources like Amazon.com that will have iDvd included, and possibly even by calling the Apple online store at, in the US, 800-MY-APPLE. Ask for the latest version of iLIfe with iDvd off the legacy products list.
You probably should click on the apple on the left of the menu bar, click about this mac, more info, systems report, and applications (which will take a few moments to display).  Click kind to sort the list. Any programs that say PowerPC won't run under 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion.

  • Not able to install Logic on mac with OSX.  10.8.2. Error message: Logic Studio.mpkg cannot be opened as the power pc programs are no longer supported. I have logic studio 8 software purchased in 2007 and upgraded with logic studio 9 (purchased in 2009)

After an earlier attempt to move Logic from my other mac (OSX 10.6.8) with the migration assistant to my new mac with OSX 10.8.2. I've re-started the whole start up process by erasing the hard drive from the new machine and build it up from scratch. After a new "out of the box" start, I decided to install LOGIC from my disks : starting with my 2007 package Logic Studio 8 and upgrading with my Logic 9 package from 2009. When trying to start to install 2008 I got the error message : Logic Studio.mpkg cannot be opened as the power pc programs are no longer supported.
What does this mean? HOw do I get this working under 10.8.2 as it works flawlessly under OSX 10.6.8. For sure I didn't buy a new machine to have OSX 10.8.2 but I suspect this is the roadblock to installing my logic package.
    Help!

    Mark,
    Sorry...
I completely lost the thread (I actually got confused between you and another poster on a another forum that was asking the same basic question) and somehow ended up thinking you were trying to install on a PPC Mac
My apologies and please ingnore those parts of my last post relating to the PPC Macs...
You have an Intel Mac and therefore Logic Studio 2 Boxed Upgrade set should install/run on your Mac without issue. As I said earlier.. you do not need to try and install from the original Logic Studio 1 /Logic 8 Boxed set...(It won't work anyhow because you have an Intel Mac and that version had a PPC installer)  but just install from the Logic Studio 2 / Logic Pro 9 Upgrade Boxed setof DVDs instead...
Have you tried the "Make Disk Image" solution I gave earlier? That normnally works under such circumstances as what you are describing can happen when your DVD drive cannot read the DVDs correctly... I have had this situation myself where one drive read them okay and another failed to do so for whatever reason. Making and then installing from Disk images of those exact same disks resolved the issue for me...
You can try to reinstall directly from the DVDs of course though under some circumstances it may not allow you to reinstall Logic Pro itself if that part of the original installation attempt was successful... in which case you can also try this... (It's probably the easiest method if Logic 9 was already installed and present in your Apps Folder)
If the Logic Pro App is in your applications folder..
Run Software Updates to update Logic Pro to a version that will run under 10.8.2 (The initially installed version of Logic will not)
    Run Logic
Go to the menu bar in Logic and select Logic Pro/Install Additional Content and select all content in there..
This content is basically exactly the same as what is stored on the remaining DVDs of the boxed set so you might not need to use the rest of the DVDs to install from but download it all instead from Apple Servers...

  • You can't open the application "TeacherWorks" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

When I try to open an application I get this message: You can’t open the application “TeacherWorks” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported. I updated my MacBook Pro to Mavericks a month ago. So I do not know what is going on. I am not good with computeres, so please if you will try to help me, please be very simple.
    Thank you

There isn't really a simple answer to your dilemma.
You have discovered that there is older software that will no longer work on OS X Mavericks.
Your version of TeacherWorks was programmed to run on much older non-Intel, PowerPC style Macs that were discontinued around 2005-2006.
If your Mac was running OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard previously, Snow Leopard had a special emulator software, called Rosetta,  that emulated older PowerPC hardware to allow this software to function.
This Rosetta emulator software got deleted/obsoleted from OS X with the introduction of OS X 10.7 Lion.
So, this software will no longer function.
The alternatives is to see if there are newer updates of this software that needs to be downloaded and installed.
OR if this software no longer exists or is no longer being updated, then you need to search for and seek out alternatives that are similar in features to this software.
There is a way to get your existing TeacherWorks software to work on Mavericks, but it gets involves using a special virtualization software like Parallels Desktop, VMWare Fusion or the free, open source virtualization software called virtual box to install OS X Snow. Leopard Server within the virtualization software.
You purchase, download and install this virtualization software.
And you need to call Apple at 1-800-MYAPPLE to see if you can still purchase copies of OS X Snow Leopard Server.
Once you have OS X Snow Leopard Server installed and you launch it, you can, once more, install your existing TeacherWorks software.
This is the only way to run this type of older software in OS X Mavericks.
If this is too complicated for you, if you made a backup of your previous system setup and data, all you have to so is revert to your previous system,
If you have no backup of your system or data, you need to backup, at least, your important data by either burning CDs/DVDs, copy this data to high capacity USB Flash Drives or backup to an externally connected hard drive.
Then, you need to do a complete clean install of your previous OS X version from disc, redormat the hard drive which will completely wipe your hard drive of data! and reinstall your previous OS, all of your applications and then restore all of your data.
There is no other way to do this if you have no viable backup.

I have recently updated my Mac to version 10.7.5 and now Photoshop Elements 4 will not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it shows message
"You can't open the application HFSTest because PowerPC applications are no longer supported" so I can get no further.
Having paid for this software and used it on my Mac previous version, I want to open and use it now. Very annoyed. Anyone got any helpful tips?
    Thanks.

Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to reply concerning my problem with opening PSE4 on my Mac running v10.7
I understand now and I guess I have to fork out for the latest version of Elements. So very annoying!

It's telling you the sad truth. PSE 4 is not compatible with 10.7 (wasn't really for several versions of OS X, although if installed it would continue to work.) You need at least PSE 6.

  • Run custom queries in Enjoy transactions

    Hi
I have replaced the standard queries in the 'Document Overview' of some MM transactions (i.e. ME21N, ME22N, ME23N) using SAP enhancement 'MEQUERY1'. But, some standard queries such as 'My Purchase Orders' are able to fill automatically fields of the selection screen and run.
Is it possible to reproduce this feature with custom queries ?
    Thanks,

  • Getting a Not Supported error box when trying to link a subreport to the..

I am trying to build a subreport off of my main report. I am trying to link my subreport stored procedure to my main reports stored procedure. All of the paremeters on the sub report SP are of the same data type of the fields I am linking my parameters to in the main report SP. After I set it all up and go to preview it I get a "Not Supported" error box that pops up. Then I click ok and all i have is a blank white page. Does anyone know what is not supported? This happens when trying to build this report in crystal 2008. I even tried building this same report in crystal 10 and it works perfect. I don't know what I am doing wrong in the crystal 2008 environment. Please help

Thanks Bill.  This fix resolved my issue.
I would award some points, but I guess as I didn't post the original question there is no facility to do this.  Shame.
    Appreciate it, Brendon.

  • POWERPC APP are no longer supported

I recently bought a new Mac. After installing Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium I am unable to open the program's. The following message appears : .. unable to open CS2 because PowerPC app are no longer supported. I read on Apple forum that this has to do with the new OS Maverics. Does this mean that I must purchase the whole program again ??

No, you do not have to repurchase the program. You do, however, need to make sure you install Rosetta, which will run outdated software like this still. I am STILL working on figuring out how to get Rosetta on mine since the update (without checking the Rosetta box) was already done. If you figure out how to get Rosetta after the update has been done, PLEASE let me know. That's the problem I am having...
