Are Forms Possible With Pages?

I want to create a template in Pages that basically acts like a form (similar to a job application form). However, while using the template, I want to be able to leap from field to field by using a keystroke as opposed to using the mouse.
MS Word has a similar feature wherein you press the <TAB> key to jump to the next field.
This is a real time saver when you are entering in data on a form with lots of field (i.e. Name, Address, Soc Sec, etc.). Any help on this will be appreciated!

As far as I know, the only way to do that is to use a table.

I think you've mistaken the meaning of both technologies. ESB actually works as a part of BPEL, for instance you can create partner link from any esb service.
ESB service can only expose data or retrieve and process (transform) them from another service. BPEL is using services like ESB as a source and adds decision making functionality which is not present in ESB.

Are Joins possible with VPD predicates?

Hi everybody,
I have read the articles about VPD and row level security. What occurs to me is that all examples return predicates where the WHERE clause selects from the same table as the FROM clause. Is there a way to generate a predicate that goes to other tables as well?
Example:
table_1 holds sales records information, e.g.:
product, price, date of sale transaction.
table_2 holds information about the customers, e.g.:
customer_company, product, price, date_of_sale_transaction.
table_3 holds information about the customer account managers, e.g.:
employee_id, family_name, name, customer_company, customer_department.
Now if an account manager logs in to the database he shall only see the sold products in table_1 which were bought by the customers who he is in charge of. The select statement would something like:
select t1.product, t1.price from table_1 t1, table_2 t2, table_3 t3 where t1.product=t2.product and t2.customer_company=t3.customer_company and t3.employee_id=?
Certainly, ? would be the the id of the logged in user.
How can I realize a JOIN like this with VPD?

This is trivial to do in VPD. In your case, you would define a different policy on each table. For instance, the policy function for the policy on table_3 will return a preciate
employee_id = USER
or something similar. The policy function for policy on table_2 will return
customer_company in (select customer_company from table_1)
Similarly, the function for table_1 will return
product_in (select product from table_2)
However, you will note that the query containing IN quickly becomes inefficient when the data volume is high. Therefore, an alternative solution may be in order. One option is to use application contexts where you prepopulate the values when the user logs in and use that in the predicate. It's not possible to describe the whole procedure here; but youmay find the paper I presented at New York Oracle User Group helpful at my website www.proligence.com/nyoug_fgac.pdf.

How can I create two or more page spread via JS? I tried changing the parent of multiple pages, changing it to same spread. The error message said that the parent property is read only so this is apparently not a way to go.
Is there anything else I can try?

Am creating document with Pages. pages are in "portrait" orientation, but two charts at end need to be "landscape". changing the orientation for one section changes it for entire doc. can i have different orientations in Pages for different sections?

Even when i put the appendices in a different section, changing the page orientation changes it for the entire doc.

Make a separate document the size and orientation you want.
Turn that into a pdf and add it back into the original Pages document or into the pdf from from that document.

I am new to Spry, well, have used an accordion and thats

want to create a page that has a form that submits to an ASP
page, all
the ASP does is insert a record. After the ASP has inserted
the data, it
will return the data, I want this to appear on the same page
that
submitted it without refreshing the page. The page will allow
another
set of data to be submitted, and again this data needs to be
displayed,
but below the previous data displayed.
Is this possible with Spry? If it is, which part of Spry do I
need to
investigate?

Are in-app forms possible?

I am creating an app that has a short form (all text fields). The form will submit via email, no database involved.
I know I can create a web form and display the page within a frame, or call up a URL with a form, but I wonder if there is a way I can create the interactive form within the app. There are no tools in the overlay panel that I can see doing this.
I tried creating a form in InDesign, exporting as an interactive PDF, and bringing it back into the document, but it lacks interactivity when imported (the PDF does function fine within Acrobat as expected, however). Also tried skipping the PDF export and adding my InDesign form pages directly to the folio as an article. No luck there, either.
Am I missing something, or can this not be done? If not, it would seem to be a really useful addition to the overlay panel's capabilities.

What would be cool is an in-app PDF reader that can handle forms. Is any interactivity possible with a PDF form accessed via an HTMLResources file?

DW CS5, Sending contact form results to email with page redirection using php script

I am currently building a site from scratch with Dreamweaver, with the intent of replacing my current website layout that was designed using Intuit's website builder. My dreamweaver site is not online, but i have setup a local test server on my computer, using XAMPP, and i have an apache server with a MySQL database and a mercury mailserver running. I mention that in case it makes a difference in your answers. If necessary, I can include those settings, but that may be asking too much.
I have an html contact form for users to schedule service appointments. I need the resulting actioned php file to do the following after submit is clicked: verify certain fields have been entered; prevent spammers or verify human visitors; send the form results to a (hidden from public view of any kind) email address; redirect user to a confirmation page, or an error page.

Problem with Master -Details forms in seperate pages

Below is the scenario:
I have Institution and a department tables where there is a foreign key relation between the tables. So now i have two entity objects for the 2 tables and 2 view objects(DepartmentView,InstitutionView) from the entity objects.
I also have a view link between them.I made a master-detail relation between them in the datamodel using the view link.So my appmodule now has getters for the department view,institution view and viewlink.
I now have a jsp page "createInstitution.jsp" which contains a form for the institution , i have a "next" button on the same jsp which calls a method in my appmodule class .This methods just inserts the record into the Institution view. In this method i am able to see what the user entered in the form by getting the viewrow record like the below code :
InstitutionViewRowImpl newInstitutionRow=(InstitutionViewRowImpl) getInstitutionView().first();
The next button navigates to the next page "listDepartments.jsp" which contains the list of departments that are added. This page has a button "Add Department" which takes to to the "addDepartment.jsp" page which shows a form for adding a department. This page also has a button which calls a method in app module class. The method just inserts the record into the view(DepartmentView)
Here when i say
DepartmentViewRowImpl newDepartmentRow=(DepartmentViewRowImpl ) getDepartmentView().first();
the newDepartmentRow is null.
Also on the addDepartment.jsp form , i had used a output field to see what the parent id was and interestingly the parent id is 75 which is first institution in the database. It should have been "-10" , a temporary id assigned.
Can someone please tell me what is the problem with my approach?

I don't understand why you are using a method on your button to insert the record into the table - An Oracle ADF Form will do the insert for you by default without any coding.

The method that you are calling just returns the first record in the rowset - I don't see how it has anything to do with actually inserting the data into the table.

What format are those music scores (I'm not familiar with cubase documents). But, it may be that Adobe PDF Pack doesn't support that format. In that case, Acrobat is the way to go. You can then print your files to PDF as you'd like. You're welcome to try Acrobat for free for 30 days to see whether it's going to work for you. If you decide it is, and you'd like to use it going forward, you could convert your PDF Pack subscription into an Acrobat subscription.

Big trouble with multiple forms in a page and submit - commit buttons

I have created a menu system based on a sample 61 at

so , on each page i have a form that contains my menu system , when i add second form to this page by using drag and drop , its submit / clear button works but Commit button does not change to Enable and stay disabled.
I change the Disabled property of Commit button to true but it does not operate (does not store data into DB)
I tried my work on a page without those menu system and it works fine.
so i think there should be some tricks for pages that contain more than one form and has a Commit button.
can some one clearify ?

I tried other applications with same condition and they workd :((
even i made a new page in my application and put only one form into it , the commit button is turned off for ever :((

Adobe Form's First Page printing perfectly on 132 column sheet but further pages prints with small font size

Dear All,
We are facing a strange behavior of adobe form.
we made form for SAP CRM which is printing in 132 column(28cm * 33cm) sheet. what we are observing is, first page is printing perfectly on the pre printed Invoice sheet but if invoice has more items to be displayed then second page prints with small font size or you can say second page seems to be zoomed out to smaller page size. In Preview Second page onwards also looks perfect. Now we are in a fix what to do to come out of this issue.

Adobe Page Size Adjusted.
Select paper Source by Page Size ticked in Adobe form properties
But still result is non satisfactory. Please Help.

a) The size of the pages of PDF which you are printing. LETTER
b) Does all pages of the PDF are of same size? YES
c) What is the page size set in the Printer and what is the actual size of the paper which you have put in the tray? LETTER
d) Does this problem also happens on the virtual printer which you might have on your system (Try either Microsoft MPS Document writer or Adobe PDF Printer) No VIRTUAL PRINTERS

I have created around 95 page items,8 different region , 10 buttons and i have used collections in page processing
While processing the page by using Select with LOV getting error http://3264-ch-dbs:8080/apex/wwv_flow.accept
I have created 15 extra page item due whih count increases from 80 to 95 .once I have created this I tried processing the page by select list with submit . I am getting above mentioned error
how many items are possible in page APEX 3.2 , is there limitation ?

You can render up to 100 APEX item on the page, and that includes hidden items. You can define more than 100 items and use conditions to determine which items will be rendered. (Buttons and other components you mentioned are not included in the 100 count).

Same problem here (no graphics in header or footer) and the problem has been reported months ago. It is another bug/feature lost when Apple moves from 09 to the iCloud-compatible versions. Complain to Apple, you may have better chance than me and they may finally listen to their users....
