Are other people having trouble with Firefox "hanging" and crashing after the latest update on February 17?
I am using a Mac desktop, OS 10.8.5. I have to "force quit" Firefox after about 10 to 15 minutes online. I did not have this problem before this latest update. I'm actually using Safari to post this question.

YES many thousands will have that sort of symptom. Not surprising with a user base approaching 1/2 Billion Firefox users.
As for your own problem try these suggestions in this order and checking after each step.
# Try Firefox in its own safemode. e.g. hold the shift key whilst starting

# Disable all plugins, and restart in safe mode again.
# Try the firefox reset but read the article first. Bookmark any important open tabs, and the home websites of any Firefox extensons you have installed

I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.

Are other people having dificulty with AT&T switching their service over to the new iPhone 5?
We got two new Iphone 5's yesterday. Mine was set up with no problems but my husbands got set up but won't activate...says no service. spent 2 hours on with att tech support Friday night and went to the store today. Its been over 24 hours now and it is still not working. Worst part--it also deactivated his iphone 4 so he has no phone now!!! We have reset the network and soft and hard booted it over 100 times now. This is crazy! ATT is sending me to apple tomorrow to get it fixed but that is going to be 48 hours with no service at all. Epic fail aT&T!

While playing my albums in iTunes it has just started playing the first song but will not progress through the other songs on the album. Did I accidentally change setting or are other people having the same trouble? thanks

If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

Anyone else having trouble with FCPX crashing after the OSX update? It NEVER crashed until the update. The night before last it crashed 20 times in 45 minutes. I can't finish my project because of it.

Suggest starting with three things:

Hi there I am having trouble with my outlook express this is the first time it has happened it keeps telling me can't connect to the SMTP server and every password I have tried is incorrect this is for 'iCloud' very frustrating as all our phones are ok
Well I am feeling a bit silly now because that was all I had to do. In the past Workgroup Manager had always opened right up to the list of my users, I never even thought to click on that but apparently that was all that was needed.
I still am not sure how the iChat Server preferences changed themselves on me, but it is not the first time I have had weird "settings" issues with our Snow Leopard Server.

Anyone having trouble with Netflix not showing up on the Internet Menu? I have tried to do a reset and then restore, but it says that "the latest update download cannot be done at this time, try again later"
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore. -
I am having trouble with my iPod 5th gen after iOS update. It's in recovery mode and iTunes keeps timing out when I try to restore it. What should I do??? If possible, I would also like to keep all of my data.

As with all clickwheel iPods, you can reset this iPod by first toggling the hold switch on and off and then simultaneously pressing the select (center) and menu buttons for approximately 5-10 seconds. This is a common fix should your iPod behave unexpectedly or lock up. Once reset, the iPod should display an Apple logo for a few seconds before showing the main menu. This procedure is similar to rebooting a computer and damages none of your music or data. -
Having trouble with wav files and sample rates
Hi ,I am having trouble with wav files and sample rates .I have been sent multiple projects on wav as the main instrumental ; I wish to record in 48.000kHz .Now comes the problem.When I try to change the project to 48k It seems to pitch up the track.I can't have them send the logic/project file as most have outboard synths,different plug ins etc.This particular case the producer has recorded the synth task in 41.000 kHz .My successful outcome would be to be able t create a project file in 48 kHz .And NOT pitch up whne I add the instrumenta wav file .Any help would be gratefully recieved,this is my first post so any mistakes I may have made go easy
You'll have to convert the actual synth audio file file that the producer gave you to 48kHz. You can do this in the audio Bin in Logic.

I'm having trouble with iTunes synching and accessing the iTunes store. When synching, the process tops at the back up stage, freezes and I can't close the iTunes window, need to ctrl alt del. When trying to access the store, the progress bar stops halfway. I've googled heaps and tried most of the standard answers - unistall, reinstall, etc, now looking for some help please.
This has only started a few weeks back, after working smoothly for the 2 years of owning the iPhone 3gs.
Any suggestions will be appreciated, it's getting realy frustrating.

As an avid flight simmer I bought a new soundcard my previous was
an audigy 2 platinum ex with an external module I really liked but somehow all of a sudden I was getting a screech when using FS9 sor I opted to change to the present. Well stone the crows my soundcard was auto updated with new drivers and well you guessed it the soundcard did not show in the sound video controllers window No I have just joined this forum and it looks like3 you may have the answer for me . I am now going to do as you suggest and see what happens.
I shall return with the outcome of my dilemma.
