Are others having issues with downloading purchased TV programs after updating to IOS 7.1.2?

I have tried to download 3 purchased tv series this morning.  They each get to about 1 minute remaining and then start over again.  I recently updated to IOS 7.1.2 on my iPad.  Is this the reason I'm having this issue?

    System Requirements for 10.6:
    Mac computer with an Intel processor

    You can upgrade direct from 10.6.8 to 10.8 Mountain Lion without going through 10.7 Lion with the Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody. The Model 5,1 will probably run 10.9 Mavricks when it comes out.
    10.8 Mountain Lion is a download from the App Store, the price is $19.99.
    Mountain Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.

    Also Mountain Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Mountain Lion.
    Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications.

  • Having issues with putting purchased music back into iTunes after reinstall

    I have been having issues with iTunes closing itself out right after I open it. I deleted the program, then re-installed it, which fixed the problems with quitting. However, I cannot copy my previous library back into iTunes. I saved the iTunes music file and the .xml file to my desktop before uninstalling the program. When I tried to add the music back into iTunes, I keep getting this message: Attempting to copy the disk "Macintosh HD" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to. It does not appear on all songs that I tried to add back, but it happened for quite a few of my purchased songs. Is there any way to fix the files or do I need to download the songs again? I tried running the Disk Utility to repair Permissions, but that has not helped with anything.
    I am running iTunes on a MacBook with Mac OS X 10. 4. 11, if that will help with anything.

    Wonder why XP won't let you copy files?, perhaps you used a different user name?
    Or these are the old DRM versions of the songs? You should be able to log into your iTunes account and authorize the computer and iTunes should recognize the songs.
    Well since you have the iPod Nano, you can head over to iLounge and ask them what current third party software works to move your iPod Nano music back to iTunes.

  • Problems with Wifi on iphone 4 after updating ot iOS 5.1

    After I update to iOS 5.1 is started having problems with my home wifi.
    After the update every thing seems to be running alright after after a day my connection was lost.
    When I tried to reconnect I got the message "unable to join the network".
    I tried the following things:
    - Forget network, reconnect: This did not help
    - restart iPhone: did not help.
    - Reset network settings: did not help.
    The next step I tried was to restart my router.
    This solved the problem, but after 1 day I have the same issue.
    When I go to work there is no problem when I get back home same thing over again.
    This is going on ever since I update to iOS 5.1
    Before the update I had no problems.
    Does anyone have more perment solution.

    I have the same issue with my iPhone4 running ios5.1. I have tried everything you mentioned above as well as updating the firmware on my router, setting my router to broadcast on 2.4GHZ or 5GHZ exclusively,  assigning my iPhone a static address as well as a multitude of other mentioned fixes. I have determined this is NOT an issue with my WiFi Network, or Router. All other wireless devices in my home do not have this issue; except for my partner's iPhone4S also running ios5.1. It's WiFi issues are identical to mine. Our other Smartphone, an  HTC running Android, has no WiFi issues whatever.
    When I attempt to use WiFi on other networks with my iPhone4, I encounter the same issues: Intermittent connectivity,reporting that it is "Unable to Join Network", showing a strong WiFi signal on screen and yet having no WiFi connectivity, showing WiFi connectivity on screen and strong signal strength, and having no IP Address(etc) under WiFi Networks Settings. After spending a great deal of time online looking for solutions I have determined the following:
    This is clearly an Apple Hardware or Software issue. I hope Apple eventually addresses this issue because it is extremely frustrating!

  • Purchased ringtones disappeared after update to IOS 8.1.1 on iPhone 5c

    could someone help me? I purchased some ringtones from store a week ago, but after update to IOS 8.1.1 all bought songs disappeared from my iPhone 5c.
    The songs I bought before I visit in store and I can bought and pay it again. Where is the problem?

    I have same issue.  I have done the checklist from iMore website -- all techniques do not work.  I followed the steps, but the "remove and sync" does not appear.  I also did "restore from backup"; still did not work.  The ringtones were NOT restored on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.1.1). 
    Apple will have to do another update to fix this issue and refund the purchase.

    No, I did not find a way to fix it.  Went to Apple store to be told that the phone is dead and I would need to purchase a new phone.  A little frustrated with the fact that it is Apple who caused the phone to not work!

    I updated to iOS 6.1.2 but some of my apps disappeared and when I went to download Netflix and YouTube, the install option for both are grey'd out and cannot select the FREE button the download the apps, please help.

    Hi, I actually checked that first and no restrictions on app install/delete. I also logged out of iTunes account, re-started my iPad but still no luck. In fact, when I search for Netflix, I can see another app called Dijit Remote and Nextguide that I can click on the "free" button to download but everything else, including Netflix button is grey and cannot be clicked.

    Since updating to iOS 5, my text tone 'glitches' whenever i recieve a message. By glictching, I mean that it sounds doubled or sometimes it plays, stops then plays again very quickly. I've tried resetting the phone, this works for a few messages then starts again :/ Any suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

    It would be nice to get this issue fix.  I didn't notice it until today.  The text tone is very sporatic, or delayed, alerts me twice, and it's just not what it used to be like.  C'mon Apple - fix the glitches, please.

  • Okay, there are two accounts on one computer, and my account is the main one though ever since, I've been having issues with downloading new songs and apps onto my iPod touch. Not only that but now all of my music's gone from my library. How can I fix it?

    Has anyone ever had this problem before? I would love some advice on how to restore my library with all my music. I have 841 songs on my iPod touch and yet my iTunes library on my account says I have none, ever since my sister made her account on my laptop and some of her songs have gotten on mine (the main) account. Not only that but my iTouch doesn't seem to want to accept any other songs outside of its list. Any advice?

    Here is what worked for me:
      My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

    I have not setup a fresh install of Premiere Elements lately (but I am in the process of doing that now for some special troubleshooting on another matter) so I am going on my recollection of SmartSound functionality in a fresh install on a computer that has never seen SmartSound. I am an Elements Windows user. What is your computer operating system?
    My recollection is nothing to do  in the way of SmartSound to download, just open Premiere Elements and click on the SmartSound feature and open as per screen instructions. So, I do not see how a setup.exe file enters into the picture. So, I ask
    a. Are you trying to find and use the free soundtracks that come with Premiere Elements SmartSound feature?
    or
    b. Are you in the process of buying additional SmartSound soundtracks from within the feature in Premiere Elements?
    In my Windows 7 or 8 64 bit, the major SmartSound folders and files are (remember to have Folder Options Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active)

    Program Files (x86)
    Smart Sound Software
    the Common Data Folder in the Smart Sound Software Folder contains among other things the ReadMe.txt file..
    Local Disk C
    Program Data
    SmartSound Software Inc
    and the Sound Files Folder in the SmartSound Software Inc Folder contain among other things the music files.
    Please review and then we can decide what next. I should have more recent contact with this matter first hand later this evening.

  • I'm having issues with downloading and updating my softwares in creative cloud...

    I've been notified by creative cloud telling me that 6 of my softwares (Premier, After Effecs, Bridge, Photoshop etc) need updating. I clicked update on all of them at the same time and only one of them (speedgrade) successfully updated. All the rest of them are saying there was an error and that that they are unable to update.The same happens whenever I retry the update.
    Any solutions?

  • I have been having issues with downloading and updating apps on my iPod 4th gen. How do I fix this? It's getting really old really fast.

         So yeah, this has been going on the past week. When I tap to upload my apps, some update right away, but others won't. Sometimes they will dowload half way, sometimes they won't at all, what causes them to stop is this little message that pops up saying, "This app cannot be downloaded at this time." and it gives you options 'Done' or 'Retry." Instinctively I hit retry. Through the course of the day I did this, I kept hitting retry, and eventually all the apps that were updating, updated, but not very effieciently. All apps updated, except for one, Facebook. No matter how anytimes I hit retry, it wouldn't update. I got real sick and tired of it, so I deleted it. I decided to go through everything and delete old apps, pictures, music, thinking that I didn't have enough space. I go to download an app I've already had to test this theory out: Still doesn't work. The stupid thing won't even TRY to download. So, is there any way I can fix this without taking a sledgehammer to my iPod? Because, honestly, I am severly ticked off at how stubborn this is. Please help. Before my patience runs out and I break this thing.

    It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

  • Are you having issues with Rezound synching to Google?

    Is anyone else having trouble getting their Rezound to synch to Google? I have done numerous soft boots, been on the line with T1 & T2 without substantive help. In other words, I have done everything but a factory reset.

    Have you gone to menu>settings>accounts & sync to make sure your background data is turned on?  Sometimes, if the phone goes into power saver mode (due to low battery), it doesn't turn back on.
