Are tables autom. created (if necessary) when importing with impdp.exe?

Just another question regarding impdp.exe process.
Assume a table is dropped after the previous export (expdp.exe) operation (for full database)
Now I perform a import (impdp.exe) operation.
Is this table automatically created again?
What about users (schemas) ? Are they auomatically created if they are in the dumpfile, but
not found in the target database?

  • Does Import with impdp.exe just ADD or REPLACE a table content?

Assume I have I dumpfile which I want to import with the impdp.exe tool.
Part of the dumpfile is the content of e.g. TABLE testtable123
Furthermore lets say that after the previous export of the dumpfile
some more data is added to the table while other data rows were meanwhile deleted.
So if I execute now the impdp.exe operation is the dumpfile data just ADDED
to the existing data in the current table testtable123 or does it completely REPLACE
all data rows in table testtable123?

Note that if CONTENT=DATA_ONLY is specified, the default is APPEND, not SKIP
    TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION={SKIP | APPEND | TRUNCATE | REPLACE}
APPEND loads rows from the source and leaves existing rows unchanged
REPLACE drops the existing table and then creates and loads it from the source. This is not a valid option if the CONTENT parameter is set to DATA_ONLY.

  • Text Area steals Focus from Text Field when selected with mouse

I have created a very simple form with 4 spry validation elements here :: http://octopusdesign.net/contactus.html
When I attempt to select the 'Your Email' text field using the mouse, focus is grabbed by the text area above it.
It is only possible to get focus on the 'Your Email' text field by using tab.
My best guess is that this is a bug in the framework.
In addition to updating my spry libraries to 1.6 from 1.4 I've tried the following things::
Reordering the elements in the form.
Creating the elements in a different order.
Replacing the validation elements with ordinary elements.
None of these fixed the problem.
Strangely, if I remove the validation text area there is no problem.
If anyone can shed some light on this I would really appreciate it.
    Wisdom gratefully received.
    Chris

    Furthermore ::
I've tried to reconstruct the form from scratch and discovered that if you have a validation text field and a validation text area in any order on the form, selecting the 2nd element with the mouse always results in the first element stealing the focus.

  • 6.0.2 freezes when importing with canon 5d

Hi, I'm using The latest version of Iphoto 6.0.2 with an intel Mini. The computer locks up every time i try to import photos from my 5d. It always freezes about half way through the import. I've used different memory cards, a card reader, and even hooked it up to the USB port, it doesn't matter, it still freezes. The latest thing i tried was to delete the album.xml file and restart. That didn't do it either. The weird thing is that I have zero problems importing with my 20D. I can get around the problem by copying the photos to my Dell laptop, put them on a USB memory stick and then import them into iphoto with success. Any ideas? I have a feeling it has something to do with the canon software that i installed and then removed because i didn't like it. Could it be a conflict between i photo and the canon software? How do I make sure I remove all the canon crap?

    Foxfile:
I don't think it's due top the software unless it's operating on the files as you import. Are you shooting RAW and the accompanying jpg? I've had zero experience with RAW but try the following:
1 - create a new, fresh library and then see if you can import into it. If not then it's an account issue. If the new library works then it's
2 - log into another account and see if the photos will work there. If so then it's your primary account that is having trouble.
Also check some of the options in the camera about file types, compatibility, etc. There may be something in there that can be changed so make them work. I'm guessing since I don't have a camera that shoots raw.

  • Disabling "move files when importing" with Adobe Premiere Elements

I want pictures/videos to stay in file location when importing them into Adobe Premiere Elements (I use Adobe organizer) as I also use the files in Adobe LIghtroom. The respective option cannot be disabled in the import dialogue.

Could you elaborate on what you are doing and the problems that you are running into?
What version of Premiere ELements and its Elements Organizer are you using and on what computer operating system is it running.
My problem in understanding your question involves the following thoughts.
When you import files into Premiere Elements or its Elements Organizer, the originals remain at the computer hard drive save location. The program has just thumbnails of the files, and those thumbnails need to trace back to the originals at the hard drive save location. Is the problem in a shortcoming of the Lightroom program?
We will be watching for clarification.
    Thank you.

  • Tables for creating a new sales order with reference to another

    Hi Experts
In ABAP, how can identify that  I'm creating a new sales order with reference to another in the userexit read_document??, In which tables is this information??.
    Thanks
    Regards

In Table VBFA there are two fields
    a)  Preceding Document  and
    b)  Subsequent Document category
Based on the above two fields, you can conclude that sale order is created with reference to a preceding document.

  • Does iTunes create a copy when importing content?

I was wondering if iTunes creates copies of the movies I import. If it does, should I delete the content I used from my hard drive

    Hello Jaime_Perez86,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
By default iTunes will make a copy of what you are importing and add that to the library.
You can see where the file is being stored that iTunes is playing back like this:
    Locate your iTunes files
    Do either of the following:
Find out where a file is stored: Select the item in iTunes, and choose File > Get Info. The path to the file is shown at the bottom of the Summary pane (next to Where).
Show the file in the Finder: Select the item in iTunes, and choose File > Show in Finder.
    From: iTunes Help Menu
              https://help.apple.com/itunes/mac/11.1/help/index.html?localePath=en.lproj#itns2 999
If you notice that your iTunes media files are not all in the iTunes media folder, you can consolidate the meda into the iTunes folder to make backing up your library easier.
Consolidate your files in the iTunes folder
Depending on how you imported items into iTunes, some items in your library might be stored in different locations (in another folder or on another hard disk, for example).
You can consolidate all the files in your library in the iTunes folder—for example, to make it easier to move your library to a new computer.
Choose File > Library > Organize Library.
Select “Consolidate files.”Files remain in their original locations, and copies are placed in the iTunes folder.
To create folders (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and so on) inside your iTunes folder, and place all your imported media files in the appropriate folders, select “Reorganize files in the folder ‘iTunes Media.’”
    From: iTunes Help Menu
              https://help.apple.com/itunes/mac/11.1/help/index.html?localePath=en.lproj#itns2 999
    All the best,

  • Why are my movie clips cut off when imported?

I am importing movie clips from my flip camera and only half the clip is being imported. HELP!!!

Are the episodes being shortened when you publish to a local folder and launch them in the browser as well as when published to the server? See this page under "Troubleshooting"...
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/iWeb/iWeb-Tips.html
If the local files are OK it would suggest the problem is on the server. Otherwise you need to troubleshoot iWeb.
If the problem is files that are too large, you can reduce the sampling rate and/or convert to mono if the content is mostly speech rather than music.

  • Create sequence numbers when importing data

Hi I am looking at inserting some data into a table that already has data in.
I have a 2 sequence numbers that I need to include in the statement. The First (RSC_RDSS) needs to be pulled from another table SRS_RDS field RDS_SEQ2 where the RDS_SCJC is the same on both records. The second RSC_SEQN needs to increment by 1 from any existing records.
I currently have a basic script:
    INSERT INTO SRS_RSC (RSC_SCJC, RSC_FTIT, RSC_RDSS, RSC_SEQN, RSC_BEGD, RSC_ENDD, RSC_NOTE)
    VALUES ('0848633/2','ELC100/10: Academic Grammar','1','50',to_date('04-Apr-11'),to_date('04-Apr-11'),'Test heading');
How can I get the RSC_RDSS from another table and how can I get the RSC_RDSS to look at what is in the table in terms of how many records for that person (RSC_SCJC) and increment by one?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Jonathan

Sorry one more question my script is now below and will work for the one record specified '0848633/2':
    INSERT INTO SRS_RSC (RSC_SCJC, RSC_FTIT, RSC_RDSS, RSC_SEQN, RSC_BEGD, RSC_ENDD, RSC_NOTE)
    select
    '0848633/2' as RSC_SCJC,
    'ELC100/10: Academic Grammar' AS RSC_FTIT,
    (select max(RSC_RDSS) from SRS_RSC where RSC_SCJC ='0848633/2') as RSC_RDSS,
    (select max(RSC_SEQN)+1 as RSC_SEQN from SRS_RSC) as RSC_SEQN,
    to_date('04-Apr-11') RSC_BEGD,
    to_date('04-Apr-11') RSC_ENDD,
    'Test heading' RSC_NOTE
    from dual;
I plan to import a few records and need to get the RSC_SCJC used in line 5:
    (select max(RSC_RDSS) from SRS_RSC where RSC_SCJC ='0848633/2') as RSC_RDSS,
From the first field RSC_SCJC. Its currently hard coded but I need to pull it in from the first line of teh insert query.
I hope that makes sense and again thanks in advance.

  • Will LR3 automatically transfer keyword tags of photos created in PSE when importing the photos

    Hi eveeryone,
I am new to LR3. I would like to import all my photos into LR3 and all these photos have keyword tags that were done in PSE. Will LR3 automatically import the keyword tags too? If not, how would I do it?
    Much appreciate your feedback.

The answer is "NO", because importing is the WRONG thing to do here.
The proper procedure is to have LR3 upgrade your PSE catalog. In Lightroom, File->Upgrade PSE Catalog. All your tags will show up in Lightroom as keywords. Couldn't be simpler!

  • What are the valid truststore usage types when importing a certificate?

I'm trying to import a certificate using the CertificateServiceClient.  I use the string "truststore.usage.type.sign" as the usage string, but I'm getting this stack trace:
[exec] java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal Certificate Usage Type truststore.usage.type.sign

What should I use instead? I want to add certificates so that I can validate digital signatures.

The other value for importing Reader Extention certificate would be "truststore.usage.type.lcre". It depends upon the type of certificate being uploaded. Here is a related thread : http://forums.adobe.com/message/2257515

  • Why do I no longer get previews generated when importing with LR 3.4.1?

Problem:  This week while Importing a batch of 900+ photos they all show up in the Library as gray boxes (no previews).  I can still see previews of all my previously imported photos and the new ones are visible normally when viewing them with other programs (e.g., Canon Zoombrowser, My Pictures).
Also, when I close LR3 and select the Backup option I get the error 'Lightroom encountered an error when trying to read its preview cache and needs to quit - Lightroom will attempt to fix this problem next time it launches'.  After clicking on OK for the error pop-up window LR3 freezes up and does not close, it just spins with Lightroom (Not Responding) on the top of the window.
Environment:  Windows Vista Home Premium, Lightroom 3.4.1, photos are Canon raw CR2 format from 40D and 7D DSLRs. The Catalog is on a 2 TB external USB drive tethered to my Lenova Thinkpad laptop.
I have over 40,000 photos in my catalog, most from the same cameras, and I REALLY don't want to start over or have to regenerate that many previews.
Tried importing using both Copy and Copy as DNG with the same result - no previews in Library.
Tried importing them from the memory card via a USB card reader and via a USB memory stick after moving them from the memory card to a different laptop - same result.
Tried manually selecting a few photos and rendering new standard previews, LR3 starts the rendering per the status box in the upper left corner, but no progress toward generating a preview is made while in Library mode.  It just sits there.
I can see the photos in Develop mode when I select one to view AND, it seems to stay there when I move back to Library.
But, when I attempt to close LR3 (with the above error/crash) and restart it, the previews generated in Develop mode are gone.
Is there a relatively simple solution for this?  I had not run into this while using prior levels of LR3.
    Thanks a bunch!!!

    Jay,
I googled my problem and to my great surprise received a solution. It seems that the monitor profile I was using (the monitor default) was corrupted. I changed the profile to an earlier one I had created using Spyder 3 and the problem went away. The previews appeared. Of course, now my screen has a slightly pinkish cast, but as the days go by I'm learning to live with it:)  (I stopped using the profile because of the pink cast).
    Hope this helps.
Thanks..  I'll try to generate a new profile tomorrow, but not sure that's related.  I've seen similar issues with previews on a Macbook Pro, which has a totally different profile.  I don't know the underpinnings of LR to that degree, but in my case, simply moving to the page of images in Library almost instantly changes the gray version of the thumbnail to a "picture".

  • Photoshop CS2 crashes when importing with Mustek A3 scanner

First off, yes, I know I have an old version of Photoshop. When I got my new Macbook a year or 2 ago I was only able to scan via TWAIN using Photoshop CS2, and it has been the best way.
However, lately the scanning has been buggy. I've had no problems using PS as a whole, but sometimes when I got to Import < ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro it'll scan halfway and crash, or the program will just outright crash. Today I've spent about 2 hours just trying to scan one image. It managed to work once, and now it crashes every time I try scanning.
These are the specs of what I'm using:
    Mac OSX 10.6.7
    Photoshop CS2
    Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB Pro
Any help is appreciated. I need to use this scanner daily for work - If I can't get these images scanned then I don't get paid!

Perhaps a full uninstall will help. here is the link to the OSX uninstaller and drivers.
    http://www.mustek.com/mustek/supportdrivers.php?&show=drivers&disp_cat=Scanner&disp_sr=USB %20Port&disp_mod=ScanExpress%20A3%20USB%201200%20Pro&disp_catid=18&disp_srid=31&disp_modid =207
Then proceed to reinstall the OSX 10.6 driver for that scanner.
