Are "Tasks" supposed to show up in the Calendar?

Hello,
When I create a new 'Appointment' it is added to my calendar in Siebel. When I create a new 'Task', it is not. Is there a way to have 'Tasks' appear on your calendar also?
Note: The ' New Appointment' page has start/end time fields, the 'New Task' page does not. I added those fields to 'Tasks' but it didn't do anything.

This is may not be possible. I believe this is based on Activity Type field, which can be Appointment, Task or Automated Task.

When creating a task from EWS, the Owner field is empty. I believe this causes my created Task to disappear when I am in the Calendar view (showing Tasks on the bottom). The created Task still shows up in the Tasks view, but not the Calendar
view (where Tasks are on the bottom).
Creating a task in Outlook shows it on the Calendar view, but creating a Task with the same values from EWS does not show it there. The only difference is the Owner field of the Task, which is read-only in EWS. Can we set this somehow?

I can sort of reproduce what your talking about I think its because your setting the Start and Due date to the same time which seems to affect the search folder that's used for the view. The following seems to work okay for me

In the Event mode use the View ➙ Sort ➙ By Date ➙ Decending menu option. Then the latest imports will be near the top of the Event window (depending on when the photos were taken of course).
Or Control-Click on one of the thumbnails in the Last Import album and select Show Event from the contextual menu:

'There are no events to show' error on the iOS BT ...

Hi all,
Some of you may have seen this error message 'there are no events to show' when using the BT Sport app via an Apple device. If you have, please follow the advice below to fix it.
1)      Go into your device’s settings;
2)      Change the clock time to 24 hours, and the time on your device time zone to “automatic”;
3)      Log out of the app and log back in (note, you do not need to uninstall/re-install the app);
4)      The app will then start to work, provided you have enough WIFI signal.
If you do not have enough WI-FI signal, you can use 3G (which is subject to your network’s charges), but you need to remember to activate the streaming content by choosing “General enable mobile streaming” in the app, otherwise 3G won’t work.

What kind of triggering did you want for the mic input on your PDA? did you want to start acquiring when someone starts speaking, or something along those lines? If that's the case, then what you could do is continually call the SI Read.vi and poll to see if the voltage changes by a certain amount. Then, when that happens, do any processing that you need to.

Can I make reminder due dates show up on the calendar in iCal?

Hi everyone,
I've just started using iCal on OSX Lion and I was wondering if it was possible to get the reminder due dates to automatically show up on the calendar or if I have to manually enter the same thing as an "event". It seems a bit funny that reminder due dates aren't reflected in the calendar too...

I was having this problem. I got the Mac (with Maverick) to sync to the iphone with a bit of a fluke. ICal now only syncs with icloud so I made sure icloud was on, on my phone and then through Calendar Preferences, enabled my Mac to iclound with my apple account and they linked up. Unfortunately, Birthdays that I've have on the cal for a while (all day) now come up twice on my iphone but only once on my Mac. Anyways, at least they are now synced and the frustrations levels with apple have subsided a little. Hope that helps.

My reminders to not show up in the calendar. All of the documents say clicking settings on the calendar page will have a 'Show Reminders'. I see no such thing. What am I missing?

If you have not done so already, I would exhort you to go to the Canon web site to download the latest driver for your machine. The installation disk may have been produced prior to release of PSEv.12. Nothing to lose!

To show up on the birthday calendar, a birthday has to be entered under the individual contact's information. Go to contact, edit, scroll down to add field and then choose birthday.

Calendar invites are not showing up in the Calendar Inbox

Calendar invites from Google Calendar are not showing up in the iPhone Calendar Inbox. They do show up in the actual iPhone calendar (greyed out waiting for a response) but if you are managing multiple invites it's very important to view the invites especially if dealing with multiple invites on different days. This is affecting users with Iphone4, 4s and 5 on multiple iOS's.

Sorry for the late reply, it is still an irritating issue. Apple says it's Google's poblem. Google thinks it's Apple's issue. Extremly irritating.
I tried setting up the Calendar using the Exchange presets but that did not solve the invitation problem.

Thanks for your advice, I went to the apple shop today for a face to face meeting with a tech and he checked everything and could not figure out why I was having this problem so we decided to give up on that account and create a whole new one for me using a different email address.
Now I can download apps on both my iPhone and ipad2.
If anyone is reading this in Brisbane Australia go to the Chermside apple shop and ask for Wade. He was fantastic!

Max Tasks to not show up in the tree

I don't know if this is the right board or not, but there isn't a MAX board.
I am having a problem in Max where I can create a Task, Save it and it doesn't show up in the task tree, However I can access it in the browse window in Labview. I have attached the 2 images below to show the problem. Thanks in advance for your help

This sounds like a MAX Database corruption problem, the following link has steps on how to fix a database corruption:

Hi, If anyone can confirm this to me ?
Are we supposet to see LUNS in the backup software for Cluster Mode 8.3RC1 ? I have disabled 'node-sope' and added cluster using cluster mgmt LIF, I am able to see 'all' the volumes under SVMS, but cannot see LUNS. Is this normal ? Thanks,-Ashwin

Hi Deepu, Thanks for attending this query. Actually, the article is about the resources [volumes/Tape Drives] with respect to NDMP Node-scope vs vserver. This does not tell help in selecting the LUNs. In the Backup windows when I click 'Content' tab to includes the resources - Only volumes are exported with SVM names. I found the workaround by manually adding the LUN to the volume. Example - /svm/volumename Manually add the LUN by placing '/' , example - /svm/volumename/lunname ---- This works. Thanks,-Ashwin

Meeting Room reservation does not show data in the calendar view in SharePoint 2013

I have created one calendar list using the following link.

Here it giving two content type -Reservation and another is scedule & reservation.
In reservation content type attendees filed is not added.So if i am not adding the attendees,the item is not showing in the calendar view,but the item is showing in all events view.
And if i am using another content type,its asking for attendees and i have added my name.
So the problem is that it shows the item where the attendees is me.
So how can i make it public that all the user can see the bookings.

Your phone has 2 (at least) calendars, iCloud and On My Phone, check which one you put them on.
If you add new events on your iOS device, but they do not move to iCloud or other devices, you may want to verify your Default Calendar settings. HT4461 Is anyone else having difficulties with app updates. The icon on the screen shows that several updates are ready, but nothing shows up on the screen.

The icon on the screen shows I have several that are ready to update, but when I go to that tab in iTunes, the screen is blank.

If you go to the App Store and go to the purchased tab you can go through all of your apps. They will either show open or update. You would have to search through all of them but you can at least still update your apps.
