Are the answers/solutions given for a MacBook Air and Pro interchangeable?
Notice that responders list MacBook Pro as the device they are using and expert in, I have a MacBook Air -- are the answers given for the Pro applicable to my MacBook Air (MacBook Air 13 inch (mid 2013) updated to Yosemite 10.10.2)?
Unless it's an issue that's specific to the hardware in a MBP that doesn't exist in a MBA, pretty much, yes. There's not a lot of difference between them.

Regarding the loose screw take the machine to an Apple Store or AASP to be looked at.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Microsoft Office is not available in the App Store. Instead, you can purchase it in the Microsoft site > http://www.microsoft.com/mac
Note that there are other apps that do the same, like Apple iWork (available in the Mac App Store) or LibreOffice, open-source and free. I recommend you to give LibreOffice a try.
If you are interested in Office for Windows, you can find it in the Microsoft Store or at shops -
Issue with iTunes view for podcasts with the latest iOS update (for my Macbook Air, Sept 21, 2013)
I just got the latest update for iOS for my Macbook Air - and now all of my previously deleted podcast episodes are showing up as available for download from the cloud - which is clogging up my iTunes display. How can I get these previously downloaded, listened to, and deleted episodes off of my podcast view/list?

MS Word is not an Apple product so it could not've downloaded with all the Apple software updates.
"I clicked File > Check for Updates"
What program were you running to do that?
In any case boot from your OS installer disk and run Repair Disk from Disk Uility. -
this is my 3rd macbook air and pro that kicks me out my yahoo email all the time and tells me my password is wrong when its not this been going on 2 years 3 different macs sometimes it dont do it for months after a software update
Don't switch email providers. Switch to another email client on your Mac. It is not Yahoo. I have 3 Yahoo accounts and never have any problems getting or sending mail from/to those accounts. But I don't use the built in Mac Mail program. I use Thunderbird. I use thunderbird on both Mac OS X and Windows. Been using it for some time now with no problems getting my Yahoo mail, Google gmail mail or form my work email account.

If you had the previous version of those apps on your machine then the upgrade is free.
If you didn't have them installed you must purchase them. -

A iPad is a touchbased tablet, it has a poor Atom level dual core processor that can do some things, but not a whole lot. The storage isn't so great on them and it needs a computer to operate. Can only run software from the App Store.
The MacBook Air is a lightweight laptop with a real keyboard, but limited other features like no cd/dvd drive, it's the best for ultimate portability and lightweight uses with good features. Can run a lot of third party software no problem.
The MacBook Pro 13" is a mid range laptop with cd/dvd drive, but poor integrated graphics. (little 3D gaming)
The MacBook Pro 2.0Ghz is slightly above that, it has both a integrated graphics and a dedicated graphics card with about the same performance. (not good for 3D gaming)
The 2.2, 2.3 Ghz 15" and 17" MacBook Pro's are professional level laptops and 3D gamers machines with very powerful graphics cards, these are the crown jewel machines in Apple's lineup. -
I want to make a bootable usb drive for my macbook air,and my system is osx mountain lion 10.8.5. How can i download it again without repaying for it so i can make my bootable flashdrive? I'm pretty new at this computer stuff so i don't know how things work.

your computer has what is called a recovery partition that came with it.
simply hold cmd+R while you boot up. let go a second after you hear the chime.
you will boot into the recovery partition.
Use disk utlity to format your usb drive and then exit Disk utlity and go to Reinstall Mountain Lion.
it will ask you which disk you want to install ML onto. Choose your new USB drive.

MacBook Air and Pro buzz when connected to French Power
My MacBook Air and Pro laptops buzz in a pronounced way when plugged into French power sources (Martinique, Paris, Aix-en-Provence). They are American computers, and I use the adapters from the Apple World Traveler kit. Sometimes I use a regular wall adapter when I want to use the extension cord, as World Traveler doesn't allow this. The computers work fine, but I'm in French territory a lot and I worry that the buzz, which only happens when the computers are plugged in, is doing some long-term damage. I feel the buzz the most when touching the computers very lighly. Thanks~
Sounds like your adapter is not earthing properly? Change it ASAP.
Might be worth picking up a pukka French power supply if you are over here a lot too. -

What are the standard solutions available in SAP CRM to receive and process complaints through Customer Interaction Center.
Our requirement is to receive and register complaints from contact center and process them by integrating back end ECC and BIW systems.
As per my understanding we can not integrate ECC transactions in CASE Management while CASES are being created through Interaction Center.
Please help me to map the following requirement successfully into SAP.
How to register the complaint through Interaction Center?
How this complaint information is communicated in back end ECC system?
How to track the status and solution of the complaint available in back end ECC system?
How the complaints are stored in ECC system?
After creation of a complaint, can we trigger an automatic email on back end ECC system user with all complaint relevant data?

I am desperately looking for a bluetooth headphone that would be compatible to my Macbook air and Ipad mini both. I am more of looking for a headphone that does not need a transmitter device to be connected to the source (in this case Macbook Air and Ipad Mini) and headphone acting as a receiver, rather need a headphone that would be connected directly via bluetooth to the source, it would be great if multiple apple devices be connected simultaneously. Hey sorry for the late reply, I was busy to figure out alternatives as harman kardon was a difficult affair to find and acquire, but the good news is I managed to get hold of alternative.
Sony I assume recently launched a Bluetooth headphone DR-BTN200 which is compatible to my MacBook Air , iPad mini and android phone galaxy s2 with ease, the sound quality is pretty good as compared to other brands of Bluetooth headphones I checked compatible or incompatible to apple devices alike, this is definitely what I was looking for, costed me 7990 INR, this is highly recommended for ppl who are confused, I carried my devices to the store and checked before I bought a pair and pretty much happy,
The best part of this is its battery backup, I have used this hours for 3-5 days but this has not drain even then, but I do keep this charging once in 2-3 days just to keep this ready otherwise it does not even ask for it neither the quality of sound drops after 2-3 days of use.
This is over the ear headphone which is very soft but it's get sweaty around the ear I guess that's bound to happen.

It came with osx lion but i'm baffled about if i should upgrade to osx Mountain Lion, just worried about how wouild it perform and any advantages versus Osx Lion

Thanks allI would not recommend upgrading because 1) You have the minimum ram to upgrade. 2) Also, look at the features. If their are none that you feel you need, then their is really no reason to upgrade.

The app you got only works with iPhones, iPods touch and iPads, but not with Macs. That's because Macs use a different operating system that requires different applications, so you have to purchase the application for the Mac
