No. No Apple product is affected.
Servers that you may communicate with may be affected though, regardless of the devices you use to connect to them. There isn't anything you can do about that, other than to not use them. That essentially means isolating yourself from the Internet entirely, until such time millions of servers all over the planet are updated to address the vulnerability. No one can guarantee if or when that will ever happen, and by that time some other bug will have been discovered.

I have an Apple MacBook Pro with 2 USB ports and a MiniDisplay Port. I also have an HDTV with a HDMI port. How can I use the TV as a display without any tethering wires between my computer and the TV? I have a MiniDisplay Port to VGA adapter, but there are two issues with it: The new display doesn't have a VGA port, and even if it did, I wouldn't want to have my mac constantly attached to the display by a cable. I had to change to a new Apple MacBook Pro. I deauthorized my old computer, authorized the new one and the only media that shows up are items with a cloud. Everything that was downloaded from a cd, including personal movie files, are missing. It's as if my former library is gone. How can I find it again? Or is this just Apples way of screwing with me?
No. Firewire and Ethernet are not the same. Ethernet would be used to connect the computers to your network. A Firewire cable is used to connect the computers directly. They are different ports.

I have an Apple MacBook Pro 1,1 Mac OS X 10.6.8. I have tried to load Native Instruments Guitar Rig 4LE.
It would not load and said the following. System extension cannot be used.
The system extension "/system/library/Extensions/AppleUSBthernetHost.text" was installed improperly and cannot be used.
Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product vendor for an update.
I do not have a copy of the OS X 10.6.8 software. It is second hand so I have no product vendor to contact.
What can I do?You recently updated iTunes to v.11.4? This message has popped up on many a Mac screen when this version was first made available, because this kext was obviously faulty.
You should try to download iTunes 11.4 again from Apple's website: the new version bears the same name, but this kernel extension has been updated, and the issues it was causing are now a thing of the past.

My Apple Macbook Pro running OS X Yosemite freezes 10.10.1 regularly. When it freezes the only remedy is to physical shut the screen and wait for the battery to run down. I do not run any external devices, and when it freezes you cannot do anything with the computer. It is new, and this problem is very frustrating. Any suggestions?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the BOOT_TIME log message that corresponds to the last boot time when you had the problem. Now clear the search box to reveal all messages. Select the ones logged before the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
For example, if the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down for three minutes before you forced a restart, post the messages timestamped within three minutes before the boot time, not after. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract—not at the beginning.
If there are long runs of repeated messages, please post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A crash report has a name that begins with the name of the crashed process and ends in ".crash". A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". A shutdown stall report has a name that ends in ".shutdownstall". Select the most recent of each, if any. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot. It's possible that none of these reports exists.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash or panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful. -

I want to make sure that the new Creative Suite 6 program is compatiable with my apple
computer before i buy it. my mother last year had brought me the creative suite 5 program
for my Dell Desktop computer however, this computer later on crashed and now i am stuck with
the CS5 program my mother brought because, this version of this program she brought is
only for a desktop computer that has a windows operating system not for a apple
computer that has a mac operating system. At the time my mother nor i knew if, i
would be getting a new apple computer plus, i needed the program for school so that i
could work on homework assignments at home. Now i am currently stuck with the
windows version of the CS5 program which i cannot use at all. I tried to install it onto
my apple laptop many times before but, i only ended up getting a error message saying
that the software I had wouldn't install to the computer for some reason unexplained.

Apple macbook pro with retina display is having yellow screen problems in which screen is not perfectly white and is yellowish. More over the service frm apple's part is ridiculous as they have faulty spare part. Does ne1 hv email of senior person?
Apple service centre employee told me that they do not have this 14 day offer in India.
