Are the generic batteries sold on eBay safe?

My battery isn't dead, but the battery icon says "Replace Soon" on it, and my battery has bloated a little(I understand this to be normal of macbook batteries that are dying, is that correct?). Apple brand batteries cost around $100, but on eBay, you can find all kinds of generic macbook batteries sold by third-party companies like Poker Bridge, Zhaoyu, Cnbatteries, Electriczone, emmasilmon, AdapterMonster, Hootoodeals, notebookcompany, etc, for $33-34. I just want to know if these batteries are safe, will hold a charge for a decent period of time, will last, etc, or if they are so much cheaper for a reason. Is it ok to go with one of them or am I better off shelling out the cash for the Apple battery?

Why don't you just buy one of these batteries from a local store like Target, Best Buy, Micro Center, etc. It's OK. I'll wait....

I don't like to take chances with anything involving power. I would also never buy anything that was only available on eBay.

After 6 month of happy usage of my ZTE Open, manually upgraded to Firefos OS 1.3.
My phone suddenly does not recognize my sim card any more.
I performed some tests with other phones, other operators, and other sim cards that lead me to tell that the problem comes from the phone.
There was no special event that can explain this problem (no fall, no update, no water...).
I tried to retart the phone, to reset it. No way the sim card is recognized.

You can get a new third party battery fairly cheap on eBay. Every MacBook from 2006 through Mid 2009 except the Late 2008 Aluminum Unibody and the Late 2009 and 2010 White Unibodies use the same A1185 battery.

2008 MacBook - Are the batteries the same in the black and white models?

I am looking at picking up a black 2008 2.4GHz MacBook (on the cheap) with a crook battery and super drive. I have another super drive so that is not an issue, but I am wondering if the batteries are the same as the white 2008 models. I have a couple of white batteries from the 2008 models that still have some life in them. Will they fit the BlackBook?

Try this:
Open the "Find my iPhone" app on your iPad, fill in your AppleID and password at the start up screen, and you should see a list of all your devices and their current location, if connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile data network. Devices not connected will be shown as "offline". But you can still trap on the icon and hit "erase iPhone" in the right hand window.
If your iPhone is not listed, you did not activate this feature during the setup of the phone and it can't be erased remotely.
If the phone is listed, even as offline, tap on "erase" to send the erase command. The next time your device will be connected to any kind of network, the content will be erased.

U have to basically to the techinal design after understnading the functional designs and implemnet the same( creating infoobjects, datatargets, datasources, queries etc.). Then u have to load data and do the unit testing on the same.

Completely the business reqmnet and the data that the client wants to load.

U have to understand ur master data and transaction data on the basis of whch u have create ur infoobjects and load data in them and finally in the datatarget.

Sure u can do that by choosing Full update in the infopkg. It will just load the complete data instead of changed records.

the safety limits dictate what amount of overlap you can have between two successive delta requests.

"The upper limit for safety interval contains the difference between the current highest value at the time of the delta or initial delta extraction and the data that has actually been read. If this value is initial, records that are created during extraction cannot be extracted."
this would mean that if your extractor takes half an hour to run , then ideally your safety upper limit should be half hour or more , this way records created during extraction are not missed.
For example :
If you start extraction at 12:00:00 with no safety interval and then your extract runs for 15 minutes , the delta pointer will read 12:15:00 and subsequent delta will read records created / changed on or after 12:15:00 - this would mean that all records created / changed during extraction are skipped.
Estimate the extraction time for your datasource and then accordingly set the safety upper limit so that no records are skipped. But then this being an additive delta - you need to be careful not to double your records . Ideally this being an additive delta - either extract records during periods of very low activity or have smaller safety limits to make sure data does not get duplicated.

Apple is still producing batteries for your MBP, yes. The "higher capacity" (though certainly not double!) batteries from FastMac are also still available.

Gereric Extraction can be done in 3 ways.
If you go to transaction RSO2 in R/3 side, provide tech name for data source and click create.
you will get the 3 options.
1)From a DB Table
2)From a DB View
3)From Functional module/ Infoset Query
in first option you can directly give a standard or custom build talbe name. in second option you can select the necessary fields from more than one talbe(eiter standard or custom). In third option you will create a function module or Query to extract data. When creating function modules you can use standard function modules as a template e.g. RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE.

If you want to enable delta for generic extractor you choose the option delta and provide necessary settings.
Generic extraction is when your extraction is not satisfied by either BC or LIS/LO. It can be using a view / query/table/FM

1. Based on the date of creation or last change ( Delta based on 0Calday)
2. Based on the record number ( Numeric Pointer )
3. Based on time of change ( Timestamp)
