Are the IPhone Sport armbands useable with the Iphone 4 phones? If not, why?

i've been looking all over. The only ones that i see specifically for the iphone 4 are from Belkin and they're not available yet..

Marware looks like they have some options. Some may be out of stock on the site, but other vendors look to have them if you do a google search for the model you want.

Regarding your broken, previously authorized computer, here's how that works:
You would authorize your new computer -- maybe you've done that already. Then you will have two computers authorized. Apple allows you to have up to five computers authorized at any time. If you get to five, you can then go to your account details in iTunes and remove all authorizations.
Bear in mind this is not saying you can synch to more tham one library. Razmee209 and gdgmacguy's comments above are correct. But if Apple only allowed you to authorize one computer at a time, then having a broken computer would mean you could no longer use your Apple ID with iTunes.

Thanks for the question. From your description, it sounds like various Account Settings have been greyed out in your Settings application (iCloud, Facebook, Twitter). The cause for these being greyed out is a restriction setup on your iPhone. You'll probably see that Restrictions are turned "On" in Settings > General.
You'll want to disable the restriction "Allow Changes: Accounts". For more information on restrictions, see this article:

You may have debris in your headphone jack blocking the sensor. Try blowing hard on the jack, and inserting/removing your headphones quickly multiple times to clear it.

I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).

You can't sync or drag your non iTMS music back directly from an iPod to iTunes. The transfer of non iTMS content is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod to discourage it's use as a device for mass file sharing. However there is a manual (free) method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. Everytime I plug it in, something comes up asking me do I want to trust this computer on my phone.. I've been using this computer for my iphone downloads and stuff for about 6 months now. So, in iTunes, when you look at the shuffle's content (in the sidebar) and click on the playlist under the shuffle, over to the right, the songs are in your desired order, correct? Where do you look, or what do you do, that indicates the playlists are in alphabetical order? Are you saying that when you play the songs while using the shuffle, they play in alphabetical order?
If so, when you listen to the songs on the shuffle, are you using the playlist, or are you using the All Songs list? If you are in the default All Songs list, with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order (the middle position), the songs play alphabetically, I believe.
The 3rd gen shuffle uses VoiceOver. If you are in the All Songs list, you need to use VoiceOver to switch to the playlist (see manual linked below for details). When you are in the playlist (with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order), then the songs should play in playlist order.

I live in China as well and my iPhone5s is the model A1530 I bougth outside China. I have the same problem as Nikatnight with the iPhone while the iPad Air (wifi only) is working like a charm. It must be definitely something related to the carrier since I was abroad few days ago and everything worked well.
If you pay attention at the source of your maps, you'll discover they are provided by AutoNavi instead of TomTom and make them appear in chinese with their own border interpretation. Queries are only acceppted in Chinese (p.e. if I type in english "Los Angeles International Airport" it replies it cannot locate it)
I suppose everything will be fine when you'll be out of censorship....
Perhaps iOS Apple Maps are absolutely useless for expatriate in China.
Use Google Maps instead

You have been syncing the iPhone with iTunes on your computer without a SIM card inserted in the iPhone for how long?
If the iPhone says connect to computer, this means there is a problem with your iPhone that requires restoring the iPhone with iTunes. As already provided, not having a SIM card inserted in an iPhone does not prevent or shouldn't prevent syncing the iPhone with iTunes. Depending on the iPhone model, it is required in order to restore the iPhone with iTunes.

To re-activate an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS that displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen:
Insert a SIM card from the carrier with which you used your phone. Note: If you are using the same carrier, you can use the activated SIM card from your new device to do this. If your device is unlocked by your carrier, you can use any SIM card.
Connect the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS to iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet.
iTunes will then activate the device. You can remove the SIM card at this point and use the iPhone as if it were an iPod touch.

I upgraded from iPhone 3G to 4S a few days ago. When setting up the new 4S, I choose to restore my last 3G backup. It started by updating the OS to version 5.1 (9B179) then restored my apps and setting. Everything went well except that I realized I do not have the new apps which come with the 4S, like FaceTime, HD video and Siri.
What should I do to correct this?

Ah, FaceTime is not an app, either. It's accessed by tapping the FaceTime button when you are in the contacts app and have selected a contact. This can also be done from the Phone app under the Contacts tab, or during a call, you can switch to FaceTime.
Let me know what other apps/features you are missing.

And you are not going to autosync your iPod with the MacBook unless you tell it to sync or plug it in.
You can enable Automatic downloads when you make a purchase.
iTunes settings > Store.
When you make a purchase, it will automatically download that purchase to devices set up the same way.
This is not the same as autosyncing your device to your computer (as you first asked).

It appears that you have an iPhone that is locked to a carrier other than the one you were using. Now that you have tried to update the iOS, it has relocked. That is what happens if you are using a phone that has been hacked to unlock. You have also forfeited support from Apple and from this forum.
