I teach the Adobe suite products and we need videos that are closed captioned.

yeah I agree and should add closed caption in web user tools!
I dont even bother looking in videos or news in internet cuz no

I have some graphics of blank buttons. I want to add a submenu to one of my pages. I looked up "How to Add Text to a Blank Button" on the site where I got the button. Unfortunately, the only instructions I could find require me to write out some HTML coding. Now for my question. Is there a way to write code in Muse????????????????? Currently, I am preparing to re-download Dreamweaver CC. I hope I can set the button up there then save it and open the new product with Muse. I can understand the frustration when you can't find information, but I wanted to point out that using a generic subject such as this will reduce the likelyhood that you'll get a response as other customers will see it as vague and not follow up.
I think in this case what you would want to do is choose the Background Fill (click on "Fill" in the toolbar) item in muse and use this button image as the background for a text box or for a cell of a custom menu you have inserted. This way the text that makes up the text box/menu will float above the button.
If you want to go the HTML route, you can go to Object -> Insert HTML and insert HTML directly into your layout.

Thank you Curt Y. You're right. They're there. The tutorials are so smart. Don't know why they didn't download. With video tutorials "Live time" experts fumble themselves giving a perfect means for the user to absorb the "logic" of how the PhotoShop function thinks. There's no other way. Only a robot can, wants to, is motivated by boring line by line written description. I rather eat gravel than try and follow "line by line." line-by-line = ZZZZZZZZZZZZ. How can i fix a clip when the video and audio are not matching up? I imported the video from a junkdrive in a .VOB format and concerted to a .mov the videos were filmed on a miniDVD recorder.

I would try detaching the audio and the dragging the audio to the left or right until it lines up.

iChat will Video chat to another iChat in a Jabber Buddy List (Google run a Jabber server for GoogleTalk)
However it will not Video to the Web Page login to iGoogle or the Web Mail Page login. (where people can Google Chat as it were in a Web Browser).
Nor does it video to the Google Talk Stand alone app for PCs or any other Jabber apps on any platform.
iChat uses a connection Process called SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) which is also used by other VoIP devices.
Jabber/XMPP invited the Jingle Protocol for Jabber Applications.
Google have included this in their Standalone app and the Plug-in for Web Browsers on both PCs and Mac (you can get this as a Standalone Plug-in or as part of Chrome)
More on this here This article has been changed several time in the recent months. It now claims a greater involvement by Google in writing the Jingle Library (Although now Google's version does not work with the others)
This tends to mean that using the web Login to Google to Chat also cannot video chat to other Jabber apps that are using Jingle.
If your Buddy is using iChat then check the Video Menu has two items to Enable Camera/Video chat and Microphone/Audio chats are ticked.
In the View Menu the Show Status Items should be ticked (Selecting them toggles the tick and the function On or Off)
It could be Internet speed but at this stage I would doubt this at this stage.

Are the height and width (h and v) values switched?

I have been exporting .avi video through the Export>>Movie dialogue box. My intended settings are for the width (v) to be 640 pixels and the height (h) to be 480 pixels with a square aspect ratio. I have found that after exporting there is a large black border on the top and bottom of the video.
I have tried re-exporting it with different settings, and I have found that using 640 for the h (height) value and 480 for the v (width) value have solved the problem. IE, no excess black on the top and bottom. Is it just me or are the h and v values switched in Premiere? Meaning is the value for h actually v and vice a versa?

One of the following steps should help.
1. Install Adobe Flash Player.
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Enable Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Web Content:
    Click in the box for "Enable Plug-ins".
3. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.
     http://www.youtube.com/html5
    At the bottom left of the page uncheck the box for
   "You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
4. Reset Safari.
    Click Safari in the menu bar.
    From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
    Uncheck the boxes next to all items.
    Check the box next to "Remove all website data".
    Click "Reset".
5. Turn off Extensions/Plug-ins if any that may interfere with Flash working properly.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Back after a brief absence, things look a little bit different.
I'm trying to take a 16 minute mini dv video and compress it for use on the web. I'm interested in any suggestions you may have on settings for the video and audio tracks. I've tried using Sorenson 3 (15 frames, key frames set to automatic, 320 x 240) for video and IMA 4:1 (mono) for audio. The resulting video looked great but the file size came in at about 255 Mb.

Thank you for the replies. Everyone was correct about the jack, interface, and phasing problems. I have been unplugging my motu audio interface and then using headphones at work. I have not changed any detailed audio output settings in logic. When I read that the jack might be a problem I tried switching headphones. This actually helped. I am using dre-beats headphones and they seem to be having issues with the mac/jack-(the phasing/panning problems. I can use these headphones with other devices but not the mac. I have to use ipod ear buds and the phasing seems fixed. Hopefully this information is helpful to someone else.
If anyone knows how to correct this issue please let me know its difficult to know what my final mixes are going to sound like and I have had to keep bouncing everything into i-tunes- sync to ipod and then listen in my car radio.

As a general rule of thumb, the ATI Rage 128 Pro will not support a 20" LCD. That being said, there are reports of it doing just that (possibly the edition that went into the cube).
I'm not that familiar with the ins and outs of the Cube, so I can't give you authoritative information on it.

It is only present in firefox. Did reinstall whole windows 7 also, still have the problem :(

This could be related to the graphics card taking some time to display the flash video. Can you please check and confirm if you are seeing this issue when you use the HTML5 player of YouTube. To do that, you can do the following
#visit the [http://www.youtube.com/html5 HTML5 page of YouTube]
#Select the 'Request HTML5 Player' option
#Try viewing the video and see if the issue is happening
#You can switch back to the flash based player by revisiting the page and selecting 'Use the default player'
Please try that and let us know if the issue is recurring or not.

Thanks for the reply. This is the plan.
Open Premiere Elements 12/12.1 to the Expert workspace.
In the Expert workspace, go to File Menu/New/Project and Change Settings.
In the Change Settings area, select the project preset
NTSC
AVCHD
AVCHD LITE 720p30
OK out of there. In the New Project dialog that appears, note that it has your new project preset named.
Be sure to put a check mark next to "Force Selected Project Setting on This Project". And, then OK out of there.
Back in the Premiere Elements 12 Expert workspace, use Add Media/Files and Folders to bring your video
into Project Assets. From Project Assets drag your video to the Timeline Video Track 1/Audio Track 1.
Is there an orange line over the content in the Timeline. See screenshot for orange line to which I am referring.
There should be no colored line over the content if the project preset matches the video properties. But, if you do see
that orange line, then render the Timeline content by pressing the Enter key of the computer main keyboard or press
the Render button above the Timeline.
Do your video/audio now play back in the Edit area monitor in sync?
Please let us know the result, and then we will decide what next.

I got a new requirement from the client to create a HTML5 based functionality through which one can capture the video and audio using his web-cam/camcorder and microphone. I have researched on internet and found that there is api available (not reliable) http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/getusermedia/intro/ . I am not a coder by profession and use Edge animate to create HTML 5 based animations and stuff like that. Another problem which i have found that the api only works well with Chrome and Opera and not with Mozilla, IE..
Can anybody help me out in this, please...

Hi, Vikas-
After a brief bit of research, you're definitely hitting upon the limitation of the browsers. Not all of the browsers have implemented this part of the HTML5 standard, so you're going to either have to use Flash or be limited to these specific browsers.

Ah, PrElements 7. I thought that you had Pr 7.0, which was also named PrPro 1.0.

Now, in PrE's forum, look for the FAQ section, to the right of the main page. Steve Grisetti has done a few FAQ's on HDD cameras, and their MPEG files.
As for your Date/Time stamp, I am not sure if any of the DVDate programs will work directly with that. There are a few threads, but I do not recall the solutions. Do a search of that forum and you will get some info.
Back in later versions of PrPro, I have some tips on TimeCode, but that is different than what you want.
I also do not know if something like SceneAlyzer Live can Capture what you want.
Still, others have asked in the PrE forum, so there might be some solutions.
