Are there alternative solutions to disconnected mode operations?

Are there any 3rd party solutions for disconnected mode operations with Oracle databases? I've only been able to dig up Oracle Lite from searching on the web, but I'm interested in other approaches as well.
If anyone has done the research and is willing to share some competing technologies/vendors, I'd appreciate it.

Did the same research you did about a year and a half ago and Oracle Lite is best suited for replication with an Oracle Enterprise database. Biggest reason it is easy to build, on the surface anyway. It is scalable and reliable.

Are you looking for the serial number or the IMEI? If the phone was active on your Verizon acount, Verizon can give you the IMEI.

My tabs are seperated into groups. Once I accidentaly opened a site in a new window (not a new tab). After that, I accidentaly closed the Firefox window with all my grouped tabs. Now, I can't recover it. Are there any solutions?

I have my tabs seperated into several groups (for example, bank tabs, music tabs, social life tabs and so on). I do this with the help of the button in the top left corner. While I was surfing the internet, I accidentaly opened a site not in a new tab (as I usually do), but in a new window. The new window was without all the grouped tabs, which I had in the previous Firefox window. And then I accidentaly closed the Firefox window with all my grouped tabs. Now I can't recover it. Are there any solutions?

We have rolled out a fix for this issue.
Please log off and log back in to your machine and the issue should be resolved automatically. In case that does not work, please manually run the msi installer posted here (may require reboot).

Ok ...
Try troubleshooting extensions and third party plugins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

Are there new solutions beside error-50251solution.txt?

I'm working with an USB6009 using Delphi7.0 and the DAQmx7.5 DLL and get an floating point error.
In document 3D8C2TPC I found in error-50251solution.txt the comment, that this will not occur in future
versions. Is this the case, are there new solution or should I use the proposed one?

I am using iTunes 11.1.3 -- The most recent version. When I select something from my albums it just freezes. I have restarted it a few times with same result.

I have found this site recently and it has saved me from throwing my computer out and starting fresh because of the ravages of down loading itunes upgrades.
I have had to revert to the original itunes software supplied last year with my ipod. That version is now doing stange things (like shutting down my computer in the middle of an itunes function).
I don't download music, and just use itunes for managing the music on my mini.
I can't believe the problems and many frustrating hours that itunes has caused me and others.
Are there programs that are alternatives itunes?

The obvious answer is for me to suggest that you get a new computer because yours is a relic. I'm not trying to be funny but todays new software have requirements that your Win ME wasn't designed for. Prices are so low these days that it would be worth the investment. Other than that, I can't offer any more help.

Camera on iPhone4 doesn't work, when you use either the icon on the screen all you get the the shutter. I am unable take pictures. Has anyone had the same problem and are there any solutions?

The camera on my iPhone 4 isn't working and hasn't for quite sometime. I have updated the phone to IOS 6 and it hasn't made any difference.
When you use the icon that appears at the bottom of the screen or the camera icon on the main screen all you see is the camera shutter.I have tried to restore the camera and that hasn't made any difference. I have spoken to Apple support and they sent me a support site to check out, but there isn't any specific solution for my problem. Has anyone had a similar problem and is there a solution?

Are there any ways to draw on the screen other than using "paint()" or "paintComponent()" methods? I am asking this because I need to use active rendering for my game, and active rendering doesn't make use of paint().

I've had movies download in half an hour, but the last two times I've downloaded a movie it has taken up to 5 hours to download an SD version. We'd start to watch the movie after it has been downloading for an hour but would have to take about 5 - 10, 10 - 15 minute "breaks" while watching for the movie to download enough so we can watch another few minutes of the video.
Is this due to the time of the week/ night that we download. I've have tested my download speed while the downloads are occuring and we are getting 5.83Mbit/second.

Jmf abandoned? Are there alternatives?

I think it's been a month since i started searching more about JMF, and the more i look more doubts i get. My problem is:
I work on a web-based system for health assistance. Its objective is to let less-experienced doctors that work in smaller centers of medicine send info about some pacients to higher level doctors and ask for a second opinion. This info include: pacients' laboratory exams, videos, photos,etc. You can access the system via browser, and you just need a login and pw to use it.
The main problem is with video exhibition, actually there are 3 problems about video exhibition:
1.Our videos are played on an applet that uses JMF 2.1.1and because of that, the doctors that access the system for the 1st time will always have to install JMF. For us, this is a problem because our clients aren't people from IT that are used to install and uninstall all the time.
2. JMF has a limited number of formats and codecs and, sometimes, a client has the GREAT idea of encoding the video in a not-standard format like Divx 5.0 (DX50). So we have to look all over the net trying to find some sort of implementation of the codec in java. And since the client machine only installs the jmf, any alteration has to be sent with the applet. We are trying to send the jmf together with the Applet but we are having some problems with native methods...
3. We are trying to find an alternative for JMF since, as I can see, sun has amost abandoned JMF. Our main focus now is to find alternatives and not to implement new codecs, and etc.
So what do you think? Is there any alternative for JMF? Do you know what people are using to play videos via browser in Java? Anything in this area can help, soo... Thanks =)

Ah, about DivX, I've already tried to include ffmpeg.jar and fob4jmf.jar inside jmf.jar since these two have implementations of some codecs that aren't standard in jmf, but it doesn't work at all. I think that maybe I firstly have to find out how to send jmf together with the applet to the client-browser... or maybe not... maybe jmf isn't the solution to anything anymore... Anyway! Waiting for answers

My iPod Touch 4G (black) is constantly crashing after a few months of using iOS 5.0.1. Are there any solutions to this?

Okay, so i have been using the iOS 5.0.1 for a while now, and a few months ago it was working very smoothly, and i was very happy with it because of its new additions. However for the last few weeks, my iPod touch started to lag, especially when i use the facebook app and safari. When I use facebook, safari, or any of my apps, they will crash in under 5 minutes. It has been driving me insane... I open up safari, open up a website, and there, a black screen, and it crashes! Or i open up facebook, try to put up a new status, or check my notifications, 2 seconds later, black screen, and crashes.
I'm not sure if i want to restore my ipod because the last time i used restore, the apps were all over the place and a lot of information was lost in tht process.
If i go to the apple store, will they be able to fix this or replace my ipod? if not, then i'd much rather throw this one out and buy a new one..
But please, if there are solutions, please tell me!!! (i dont wanna waste another $300)

Well, you could trade it in for a white one!
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

L_TO_CONFIRM not updating VBBE. Are there alternatives?

We are using L_TO_CONFIRM to confirm TOs via RF in our warehouse. We have also recently upgraded from 6.04/7.01sp5 to 6.17sp5/7.40sp7.
Since the upgrade, L_TO_CONFIRM no longer updates VBBE for the source delivery when confirming a TO with difference. This is causing issues when dealing with constrained product.
I have opened an OSS message, but SAP has basically responded by telling me to go away because L_TO_CONFIRM is not released for customer use.
I have read through the documentation for L_TO_CONFIRM but don't see any options related to this.
Has anyone else faced this issue? How did you deal with it? Is there an alternative to L_TO_CONFIRM that I should be using instead?

Since the upgrade L_TO_CONFIRM no longer update table VBBE.
If i use the standard to confirm a to it is working....
I have to debug the issue.
