Are there any applications included in Creative Cloud?

We just bought Creative Cloud license for a year. Do we have to buy each application such as Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc. extra or is it included?
It seems like when you buy Creative cloud you don't really get any applications, so you have to buy them as well? I can't find any information that explains this.

  • Are there any plans to make creative cloud libraries accessible with InDesign?

The new library panel for Photoshop and Illustrator is great, but InDesign needs to incorporate the panel. Is there a workaround or plans to add CC Library to InDesign?

Would be awesome. Add your voice: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

  • Is there any license number on Creative cloud apps?

I am not able to find any license number for the downloaded apps in Creative cloud. When I open the software it says demo mode only- and that I have got 20 days left. It´s no license to find in my account info- only the receipt for the Creatice cloud plan. What happens after one month- can I use the apps in demo mode for one more month??
    Regards

Hello David, and thank you for your answer. When cliking on that button I am asked for the product #. I do not have any. I have purchased the Creative Cloud membership, and was told I could use any of the tools downloaded from the Cloud Client. The apps I download are then only trial- and it tell me it is activated but I still have the trial issue with number of days left.
Log in to my account I find my account info but no license #.

    Hi Playcreate,
The programs license off of your Adobe ID. When you launch the products it there should be a button that says "License This Software", after clicking that and signing in with your Adobe ID you should be all set.

  • Is there any software in Adobe Creative Cloud which will let me generate barcodes?

    Hi
Is there any software in Adobe Creative Cloud which will let me generate barcodes?

    - Do I have 40 10-second clips each with 1.9 GB of unwanted video behind it??
Not to worry. When we Copy and Paste within a project, iMovie HD creates a new clip thumbnail for the Timeline/Clips pane, then simply adds a new pointer to the source video. The source material is not duplicated.
When you Copy a clip and Paste a clip to a DIFFERENT project then Yes, the clip's entire source video file is duplicated. (When Copying between projects, be sure to Copy and Paste all the clips together so iMovie duplicates the source files just one time.)
Next time, you might consider setting your iMovie 6 preferences to limit the length of imported clips to 3 minutes — or whatever duration you want. Then each imported clip will have its own source file. When you discard an entire clip its file will be discarded too, shrinking the size of the project.
If you have no need to preserve the clips as clips you could export the project to a Full Quality movie that you import to a new project. Everything will arrive as a single clip, which may be okay here. Then discard your old project. The project will be smaller, containing just the stuff on the Timeline.
If the Timeline contains most of the source material — just split into small clips — there may not be a lot of "extra" material in the project. To get an estimate of how large the Timeline really is, open the "Timeline Movie.mov" that's inside the Cache folder of the project in QuickTime Player. QT Player's Show Movie Info window will show the size of the material it represents.

  • Are There Any Applications Like "Paint" on Windows?

I'm a new Mac user and can't get used to the MacOSX layout.I installed an application from the downloads section last night for an application called paintbrush, because i need a basic Paint application to crop pictures etc.
But it's useless. Are there any other applications that anyone can recommend that will do basic paint style duties??

If all you want to do is crop pictures; do minor color, contrast, color temperature, & similar photo-oriented tasks, try iPhoto, which is already installed on your MacBook. You can also do more than you might think with Preview, another application included with every MacBook. Many of the features are not immediately obvious, so it is a good idea to browse through the help topics for each app to get an idea of what they can do.
If you are willing to spend some cash on a more capable application, I recommend Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac, about $80 from Amazon.com & other outlets. This app is getting great reviews for its capabilities & ease of use, & got a "Best of Show" award at MacWorld 2008. I bought it recently & love it (unlike the old 2.0 version it replaced, which was fairly capable but burdened with such a lousy user interface that I rarely used it).

  • Are there any applications that cleans up your macbook ?

    I bought a macbook a 2 months ago.

Ccleaner on Windows has a few functions:
    1: Repairs the Registry
    2: Cleans the caches
3: Secure Erases free space on the drive / deleted files.
    OnyX for OS X.
1: OS X doesn't have a Registry to bork, but other things like Preference files, caches etc, can.
2: OnyX can clean the caches and check for corrupted Preference files, rebuilt ds_store files and other things, basically clean out all the automated stuff designed to make the computer faster so it can rebuild it in case it gets borked or may contain content you rather wish it didn't.
3: OnyX can Erase whats in the Trash, but not wipe free space on the drive, Apple's provided Disk Utility has a feature to to that.
So if your looking for something to clean your Internet tracks on OS X, first use the browser cleaning aspects, then OnyX cleaning, then a reboot to clear the OS X DNS cache then a Disk Utility > Wipe Free Space.
These features are not automated or intertwined with Firefox add-ons like Click2Clean is with CCleaner on Windows. You'll have to perform it manually.
    http://www.titanium.free.fr/
Another option for totally cleaning one's system faster on OS X would be to use the free VirtualBox to run a free distro ISO of Linux (Ubuntu, Mint, MacBuntu etc) in OS X. Then once the distro is setup in the virtual machine, save a snapshot of this OS state to revert back to after browsing potentially malicious sites in Firefox (in Linux)
Reverting on takes only a few seconds, instead of the painfully long time OnyX can take, and ensures everything is included for removal, of course a DU free space wipe would be necessary for completeness.

  • Are there any application instead of itube so as to download videos to my iPod Touch 2g (IOS 4.2.1)?

    Hy!
I would like to use my iPod Touch 2g for watching downloaded youtube videos, but my favourite app -iTube- (i use it on my iPhone) is not available on ios 4.2.1. Are there any other apps which i can use to download videos and watch them later?

    Try searching by:
To more easily find compatible apps:
iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

  • Wow, why does Creative Cloud suck so bad?   Why are there no FAQs in the Creative Cloud FAQ?

I am new to Creative Cloud.   I found some PSD event poster templates on line and I would like to be able to download some of these templates to create event posters.   I have modest goals.
    1) I found a link on the Adobe site for $9.99 monthly fee for photoshop + lightroom.   ok, seems reasonable to spend $10 for a month to see how it goes, I think
    2)  Once I get my CC account set up, there is no upgrade option or the $10 / month deal... only options are more expensive than $10 / month... but I can try it free for some time... ok I'll do that.  Hopefully, I will be able to do what I want to do with the free services?
    3)  Install create cloud app on my computer
    4)  click on install photoshop...   after 20 minutes only 3% downloaded.   darn!   Looks like I am not going to be creating any flyers tonight!
    5)   Is there something wrong?   Maybe I have done something stupid (I mean besides signing up for CC)... lemme check the Creative Cloud FAQ.   Oh!   There are no questions in the Creative Cloud FAQ.   Excellent...
It takes a special kind of talent to transform a potential customer who knows nothing about a product and turn that customer into a hater in one evening.
I just want to say congrats!

That's the page from which I started this troubled journey.  I clicked on "purchase"  and since I didn't have an account yet, it took me off to some other page to create an account, verify my email and all of that and then finally to a blank page... seemed like there was some delay from the time I created the account until the account became useable.   In the meantime I was continuously directed to a blank page every time I tried to log in.   After some time I was able to look at upgrade options, but the $10 offer was not one of my options.   Now, if I go back to the original page which had the $10 option and click on purchase, it seems like it is giving me the option to purchase.   The whole process seems very poorly designed and poorly executed.   Does the software work any better?
In any case, what I am looking to do is download some of the cheap or low cost event poster templates on the internet and edit them to create my own event posters.    I am not sure which Adobe application I need to do this.
Here is an example of the template
    thanks,
    David

  • Is there any program in the Creative Cloud I can use as an alternative for Power Point?

I need to make a powerpoint presentation and I was wondering if any of the Apps in the Creative Cloud work efficiently for this?

Not really. The Adobe equivalent would be Captivate and it's not part of CC. Depending on what you need, you could creatively use Edge Animate, Flash or Muse to build a web-based slideshow and run it in fullscreen, though.

  • Are there any applications which assist in writing Help Books?

Apple has some really good documentation on writing help books, and one can use any HTML editor to write them. However, there are certain standards and unique features that aren't supported by a generic HTML editor, like making sure the Bundle has a consistent format, the info.plist is valid and contains all of the necessary information, etc.
I figured there must be at least one application out there that would provide such features as well as be a decent HTML editor.

Primarily as an HTML editor...depends on the use - there are tons of add-ons for BBEdit (and TextWrangler), tho, and I don't know your skill level, budget, exact needs etc. so it's up to you to research based on those.
Again, the field is sparse, if for no other reason than each writer's needs tend to be very specific. I use a basket of tools, depending on content, etc. Will the content be used for multiple deployments? Print only? In-house trained users? Multiple languages? Re-doing legacy content? Updated live? iOS only? Does it require 508 compliance?
    Good luck.

  • Are there any application code-reading tools available?

Since my query about BugHunter went unanswered, I thought I'd try again from a different angle. I need a tool that shows code associated with a screen, button, or command in the application when you use F1 or the CSH "?" on the screen/button/command. Instead of generating map IDs in the Help and passing them to the developer, we get the map ID number generated in the code and add it to the Help. I need something that shows the code for each specific app item to check the accuracy of these numbers. (The WinHelp BugHunter did that, but for some reason the HTML Help BugHunter does not.) Does anyone have experience with such a tool?
    Lacona

    Hi there
You said the WinHelp Bughunter works? If so, then why not continue to use it? I'm thinking that from the application standpoint, it's simply sending a MapID, no?
I know the call to a CHM is likely different, but if all you are looking for is the MapID...
    Cheers... Rick

  • Are there any applications out there that control process affinity?

I am wondering if there are any programs out there that can control process affinity (set the priority of the process) in mac os x. I know i can use terminal to do it.  But I am looking for a program that can tell me what the affinity of all my processes are set to, and easily change the affinity.

I forgot but the Apple Messages app also supports four other "texting" service. See:

  • I'm buying a new computer for use with Creative Cloud. Are there any advantages to PC vs Mac?

I'm replacing a seven year old Dell that still works but is getting rather long in the tooth. I have CS4 web design. (For PC)
I have a Macbook Pro (so I'm familar with Mac OS)
I'm upgrading my computer to mainly use the Creative Cloud.
Are there any advantages (related to Creative Cloud) to buying a Mac or a PC?
I just don;t wan't to a Mac and then find that many features don;t work that are on the PC (or vice versa)
Or is one interface easier to use than another?
Thanks in advance for any help.

It usually boils down to personal preference.
The software is, to all intents and purposes, the same in either operating system. There are minor differences between them, usually related to the hardware or the operating system. But if you can use the software in Windows, you'll be able to use it on a Mac too.
It's a matter of which environment you prefer: Windows or Mac. I use both daily since the Cloud allows you to install on Windows and/or Mac.

  • Are there any plans to include ColdFusion Builder in Adobe Creative Cloud?

Everything and the kitchen sink is in Creative Cloud. I hoped Flash Builder Premium included with Creative Cloud would come with it (like it does at retail), but it does not.

    Hi Dilw33d,
I haven't heard of plans for this. I think the products included with Creative Cloud currently are more geared towards creative professionals versus developers (similar to Master Collection). But we could create a feature request for this, just so our developers know customers are interested.
I created an idea thread requesting this on your behalf here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/ideas/1937
Please add your vote and any comments you would like to see included.
