I am letting my 2 year old use my old original Iphone and I can not download any apps on it. What apps can I download from app store if any? Specifically games.

Any app that will work on iOS 3.1 or earlier.

Congratulations on recently purchasing an iPhone! I have the iPhone myself and love it, so I am sure you will as well. In regards to downloading music on your device, the best way to complete this task is going to be going through iTunes or the Apple App store. The Apple App store should have several 3rd party applications you can download music and play on your device. In addition any music that you have saved in your iTunes library can be synced and transfered to youre device.

No. Not based on what I can see from the Tasker web page. I wouldn't hurt to search the app store though. Some functionality may be available from apps there.

You probably cannot get a refund, since as RG said the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you, something more likely if the app does not perform as advertised.

I have an iPhone 3GS which includes video recording, so have no experience of any video recording Apps.
The only thing I know is that apparently they are all limited to 15 frames-per-second recording, due to the slower processor speed of the iPhone 3G.

When i see my brothers phone, nokia 7210 supernova, when downloading some songs, the english letters including folders in the memoy card changes as other foreign languages or machine language, which i do not know. The unwanted downloads could not be deleted. Formatting will be losing all the music and video files he stored hitherto. I usually learnt that nokia java phones are not affected by the virus. But seeting this I want to safeguard my and users of nokia s40 phones. Is there any antivius program in jar format available as on now. Could the java phone be affected by virus. I, i HAVE ACCESSED THRO DATA AND STORAGE, BUT THEN I RECEIVED A MESSAGES THAT MEMORY CARD IS IN USE BY OTHER APPLICATION. So, I Have changed the theme from the memory card and then i could access it and could scan the virus. Thank you. This I rate as very useful, because, i found so many threads expressing, alternate programs and downloaded spurious programs which is given as jar files and did the extensive damage of slowdown of device and ultimate to device doom. Thank you farby.

No. Applications cannot change the lock screen functionality in any way.

I tried to restore the iPod to an earlier version without success. Is there any way to download older versions of my apps which are compatible with my older iPod?

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

I don't know of any way, except perhaps by using an animated GIF or PNG as your wallpaper. I've never tried it, though.

There isn't anything you can do about that except to get the sleep/wake button fixed. It is an integral part of the phone and is used for troubleshooting steps as well. Using a device without one is just waiting for trouble. However, if you want to, you can go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn on Assistive Touch. Then to lock the phone, tap on the Assistive touch button, tap on Device, then tap on Lock screen.
