my ipod photo is broken but the hard drive seems in good shape. I no longer have the original computer with original playlist but would like to save the songs...any help would be appreciated. Thanks

no the airport express does not support discs
but you can get a NAS and connect it's ethernet cable to the airport express thats what I do with mine

So, I bit the bullet. I've always wanted to upgrade to the iPhone 5 from my existing iPhone 3Gs, before I do so, I sort of got the iPod Touch 5G first.

"Is there any virtually possible way to connect my iPod Touch 5G 6.1.2 to my iTunes 10.6.3 running on my MacBook with OSX 10.5.8?!?"
I'm still lucky that my iPhone 3Gs still can run on 5.1.1 and sync nicely with my current mac, but I need a new phone. I already have a desktop workstation and I still do have all my data/etc on my laptop.
Or must I have to buy Snow Leopard (if it's still available) and upgrade my old Mac's OS to do so? If so, is it still worth while to purchase SL, or would it be abandoned very soon since it's also considered "old"? and getting a new laptop is quite expensive too as a solution.

This works for 4G iPod and iOS 6. However, it may not work for the 5G because of the Lightning cable. The Lightning cable has active componets and thus it may need OSX 10.6.8 or later to work.

We've been working with Forms50 and Reports 25 under win95 for
quite a while and have noticed occasional problems:
- A program abort due to page fault protection under win95.For
example, R30DES32 : R30LIB.dll.
- You issue compile all and get and error that forms is not
able to go to (goto error button).
- A compile error that requires login in and out and
recompile to fix.
I wonder if
- there are any patches available for Dev 21,
- i have a memory shortage problem,
- these are (especially case 1) win95 problems.
Please help will be welcomed ................!

Hdv video - are there any players available ?

I'm wondering if there are any players available out there today, which enable us to look at hdv video on our computers, without playing the footage in Premiere ? ( I'm talking about the .m2v format )
I did a Google for this, and come up with absolutely nothing, leading me to believe it's impossible at this point in time, but perhaps I'm not using the correct keyword to find something.

I was trying to back up my mac by using my external hard drive. Without realizing it, time machine erased all my backups from my other computers. Is there any way to recover these files? I can't even get the external hard drive to work on my pc.

(I thought it was only going to erase the duplicate files and rewrite them). Is there anyway to recover these files from my external hard drive. My mac has renamed the hard drive time maching and it will no longer show up on my pc. What can I do?

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

The Event Viewer will hold events regarding shutdown and startup. You should work on event id's 6005 and 6006.
Hopefully your 3000 servers has remote powershell enabled or at least some other way of remotely getting the information.
Basically you should be able to create something like:
For each connected 6006/6005 events within a given time spand - get the time difference and add all those together.

Are there any drivers available to use USB mass storage on Windows 98?

I have a fairly expensive piece of equipment that still operates on windows '98. It uses specifically created files to complete jobs that must be loaded onto the computer. I would like to be able to send new job files out to the machine's operator in the field via e-mail so they can download them onto the computer from the Blackberry using the mass storage mode (I have other machines operating on windows 2000 that I am currently doing this with). The machine currently is using a USB operated card reader and we have to physically move the files from the office computer to the field computer and it is often more than 60 miles away. Being able to use the Blackberry would be an incredible time and fuel saver. Upgrading the operating system to 2000 is not an option on this piece of equipment.
Any help on where to find a driver for windows 98? I have searched all over the net to no avail....
