Are there any geniuses out there who know airport problems?

I have an SBC 2wire dsl modem hooked to a PC by cable and a mac with airport in my room. The Mac does not see the 2wire. Airport works because I have picked up neighbors' wireless signals (syslink) and the 2 wire works because a neighbor came over with his pc and it picked up the signal. I spent 3 hours with SBC experts and did everything they could think of with no luck. Is there a solution to this?

Lion is Not compatible with PPC (Power PC) based software, such as your older version of PhotoShop. Your choices are you can either upgrade to the newer version of PhotoShop, or you can backup your data and apps, erase your harddrive and reinstall Snow Leopard.

Apple's iOS platform (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) has never, and will never support flash.
First on this; Thoughts on Flash. This is from Steve Jobs regarding Apple's views on Flash (2010)
Second; Adobe stops making Flash for mobile devices. This is from Adobe themselves last year stating that they would stop making Flash for mobile devices.
If you can find the App equivalent of the programs you are looking for, then congratulations, however, if you require specific 'programs' requiring flash, then the iPad is certainly not for you, and returning it would be the best choice (granted you are still within the return period).

That's just not right - I mean, it really wrong to have to use a Windows machine to access your Facebook account. Can you pull up Comcast on IE as well?
Something's going on and I'm surprised that deleting your cache and cookies for those sites didn't work.

Are there any applications out there that control process affinity?

I am wondering if there are any programs out there that can control process affinity (set the priority of the process) in mac os x. I know i can use terminal to do it. But I am looking for a program that can tell me what the affinity of all my processes are set to, and easily change the affinity.

Is there any spyware out there for the mac?

Been looking at spyware to monitor teenager's activities on the iphone 5. Seems they all want Jailbreak installed, but I understand that ruins the warranty on the phone. I don't want to do that, or anything illegal. But, we do need to monitor his activities. Any other programs out there? Thanks a ton. I know...the logical thing to do would be to take away the phone, but teachers contact him there, as well as sports coaches, and his own boss sends his hours there. And, with Find My Phone, we can track him. So, we would rather him have the phone, but need to watch it closer.

I don't think there are any. Any kind of subscription service would require DRM. The only type of DRM that the iPods accept are Fairplay which is exclusively used by Apple.

iBooks has never had anything to do with audio books. These are listened to using the Music app, or some other app dedicated to this like Audible Audiobooks.

Any Genius' Out There???

Hey guys,
OK - here is my problem :
I have recently moved out of home for the first time. So I my "family" hard drive into my new computer and copied over all the IPod related files and folders.
It didnt work. This wouldnt normally be a problem but I have the wrong Ipod disc. My brother returned his Ipod to the shop but with it returned my disc and I have been left with his disc which doesnt seem to work with my Ipod. I tried registering my Ipod with this disc but it was having none of it. It let me put Itunes onto my PC though.
The computer recognises that my Ipod is connected to the PC but the only window that comes up now is "Autoplay" when I plug in my Ipod.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

I did as you said but no joy. When I plugged in the Ipod it took an enternity to come up in My Computer and even then it didnt recognise it was an Ipod (like it normally does). It was just recognising it as a removable storage device.
Once I have right clicked on it, it took a minute to bring up the list of options. This is a brand new, super fast computer so I dont know why it was taking so long. The other day is that is thinks the Ipod is empty but 9GB are used :-s

I highly recommend starting with one of the Logic tutorial DVD's that actually show and tlak you through things, like the Martin Sitter ones, which will get you started.
Failing that, a friend who's knowledgable in the ways of Logic to help you set it up on your system for your own workflow is the absolute best way.

It's just litho - I was thinking that there might be some 'universal' file that exists that would test out all trap functions. Any file you could give me would be greatly appreciated (just vector obviously)- it could be uploaded and downloaded from this forum.

Creating a Purchase Order, is there any help out there?

I am creating a purchase order for our sales team that can be utilized on iOS. I have two issues:
1) Some of our sales will be exempt and will need to be toggled off. How do you go about doing this while not destroying the end total?
2) Our sales tax varies due to county's jurisdiction. Is there a way to change that once the form is ready to be filled out?

Below is how my form is being set up, mind you this is an import from excel.

I don't see a way for you to currently specify that an item is exempt...
Maybe add another column with check-boxes for the exempt status. However,
implementing this in the calculation will require a custom-made script.
As for the sales tax, you can place that in a text field as well and use it
in your calculation directly. It's even possible to set it up so that a
selection in a county drop-down will automatically populate the Sales Tax
field with the correct value.
