I want to buy a new Mac, but want to get it the cheapest way possible. Do they have refurbished ones yet?

Apple Canada sells a bunch of late 2011 Macbook Pros if you're interested in those.
You won't find any refurbished 2012's if that's what you're looking for.

To answer the obvious question. No. None that I've seen. But it may depend on what you mean exactly?
Connecting to file sharing service - None that I've seen
Connecting to Open Directory (assuming proper configuration) - None that I've seen
Using the Server's Mail Service (assuming proper configuration) - None that I've seen

You can collect the Organizational Health in Exchange 2010 console for Exchange 2003/2007/2010 and that will list very useful information about statistics in your organization like servers, databases, CALs, recipient, feature used etc...

However it doesn't contain any configuration information and that you need to collect it manually because that depends on needs of each organization and how they want to setup their infrastructure...

I just received a message from a friend and when I replied to it, he said it wasn't from him and that his computer had a virus. He only has a Mac, so wondering if there are any new problems with Mac or viruses.

There are no known viruses, but there is a live trojan. However, you cannot be infected by a trojan simply from receiving it in an email. Nevertheless, you can check your system:

Are there any video joiners for Mac?

More and more downloadable movies are split and need to be joined back together to be viewed. I've searched the web over and can't find a Mac program to do this. I'm speaking of files that end in consecutive numbers like .001, .002, etc. Is there something along the line of Hjsplit for Mac?

One user using an Apple Mac has complained of not being able to hear the mp3 sound playback in a meeting.
Is this a problem with Apple Mac and mp3 compatibility or is it an individual soundcard issue ?

I use several Macs with Adobe Connect and I have even created MP3 files for playback in the room. Works fine on all my macs. It's basic Flash. Suggest they clear their browser cache, replace their host-add-in if using one. Run the audio wizard as well to make sure sound is working in Connect.
All of the Adobe Connect Government engineers use Macs all the time so we've never had an issue with MP3's.

Not officially supported by Apple for anything other than folder icons. There are third-party hack applications for earlier versions of Mac OS X, but I've not seen any yet that are compatible with Lion.

As already posted, best is always to identify and solve problems instead of downgrading to older Firefox versions.
Only the Firefox 17 ESR and Firefox 24 ESR versions in the future can be considered as older Firefox versions as long as they are supported with security updates.

All older Firefox versions have security issues that make you vulnerable to malicious websites.
If websites only work with older Firefox versions and not with the current release then best is to use a portable Firefox version only for those websites and use the current release for all other websites to be protected as good as possible.<br />
The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with the currently installed release version.

I just got an iphone 5 and of course now all the USB chargers for my old iphones, ipad and ipod are useless when my phone needs to be charged. Are there any other USB cables that will fit the iphone 5? If so what are they and why, oh why did apple feel the need to chage the charger for the iphone 5? Are there any advantages the new charger has over the standard charger for apple's USB's charger or is apple trying to profit from their customers when they lose or damage their new charger?

I'm going to assume the consolidating files does not work due to hard drive space limitations.
Since you're moving to Windows 7, have you tried using the Windows files and settings transfer utility? That will move everything for you to the same location on the new computer, it also allows some control over what actually gets moved.
Alternatively, if you know the location of all of the media, it can be manually moved by copying it from the old computer to the new computer in the same location.
Also, using the Apple article on moving the library, take a slight twist on what it says. Move the iTunes library to the external drive, update the settings in iTunes to reflect the library being on the external drive, then consolodate it.
The options are endless for moving the library... it simply takes a little effort to make it happen and possibly a twist on existing "standard" methods depending on your unique situation.

There are many gamepads that are listed but if you check the specification it only shows that it is compatible with PS2 / PS3 / PC and no where it shows Mac. I have one example
There is a gamepad from ferrari Thrustmaster which will be listed when i put the above search string mentioned but if you check the website it shows it is compatible with PS2 / PS3 / PC.

You can set times for your computer to turn on or wake from sleep in the Energy Saver system preference pane using the Schedule... button.
