Are there any Photo apps available?

Are there any apps available that will allow me to move, copy, or share the images in my Photo Library on an original iPhone? I cannot email 200 photos to myself . . . there has to be a better way.

Photos in your iPhone's Photo Library are photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process only. These photos should remain on your computer.
Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone are optimized for viewing on your iPhone as part of the iTunes sync/transfer process - the original resolution of these photos is reduced, which is why the transfer process of these photos is in one direction only - from your computer to your iPhone.
Since these photos should remain on your computer, you can share these images from your computer.
Photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll, which include photos captured by your iPhone, can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.

Do you want to get iPhoto for free, or are you looking for supplemental apps that are working well with iPhoto?
I do not know of any free third party replacement for iPhoto. For add-ons browse the Store - there are some nice camera apps, image editors,  and panorama stitchers, some are free (cam wow, pic collage, Photo splash, pixlr-o-matic).

I'm not aware of free apps that will let you work with Word, Excel, etc.  There are however, paid apps, such as Pages and Numbers you can buy that will work for you.

Are there any other templates available besides those that come with Numbers?

    Hi David,
If you have Numbers '09 there is a Checking Register template that might suit.
Numbers can open Excel templates and documents. Do a web search for checking register spreadsheet.

I  can't seem to be able to edit PDFs on adobe reader, are there any other ones apart from iannonotate?

I merely Googled this and came up with these two apps.

    DocAS Lite
They are free because you will probably get ads while you use them - the cost of downloading a free app sometimes - and they do not have the full functionality of the paid versions - from what I know about free apps of this type (productivity apps).

  • Are there any game apps that doesn't need wifi

I just got my kids the iPod touch and some places don't have wifi that we can connect to. Are there some games that don't need wifi?

    Hello,
Take a look at the appstore, most games do not require wifi to play, although you do need wifi to download the game initially. Try searching for the type of game your looking for. Or go to the catagories section and brows them there. Unless the description says that it is an online or multiplayer only game then it is most likely to be compatable offline.
Go ahead and take a look. Have fun shopping around!
    Sincerely,

  • Are there any DAQmx examples available for use with pci 6229 M series card?

I have been searching around for examples which work with the pci 6229 M series DAQ card. Most examples do not list this card as applicable and the one I have found gives an error. Is there anywhere specifically available, what I am particularly interested in is seeing an analogue channel being triggered by another analogue channel reaching a certain value.
    Thanks
    Kevin

    Hi Kejoglo,
You are right in the fact that the M-Series card is newer than LabVIEW (and therefore the examples that are shipped with it) and therefore the example finder doesn't list the M-Series cards in the list of available hardware.
Basically though, the M-Series cards work with DAQmx and not Traditional DAQ so if you just go into the example finder and search under Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx and choose an example from that folder to run on your M-Series card. As long as you don't try to do anything outside of the specifications of your card (which I doubt you will do) then you shouldn't have any trouble running any of the DAQmx examples on an M-Series card.
Hope this helps, if you still have problems then please feel free to write back.

  • Are there any screen readers available for Mac?

I've been diagnosed with cataracts, and at least for the short term, I need something to help read screens, documents, etc. Is there something built into my Mac or do I need to look externally?
Thanks in advance for any help!
    Cindy

In your settings there is a section titled Accessibility - http://www.apple.com/accessibility/macosx/vision.html
Have a loot there (things like voice over to read text).
You might want to think about buying something though.  Dragon is the king of the hill for speech dictation and control - pair it with a decent USB headset and microphone (you can get really nice ones for $40-$70) and you almost never need touch the keyboard.

While the built in OS X features are good, the commercial stuff goes a lot further, just something to think about (I have a dyslexic relative who uses dragon and thinks its amazing).

  • Are there any PXI Breadboards Available ?

I require a specific custom interface to a UUT using a proprietary high speed bus.
My kit is sitting in an NI chassis using LabView and TestStand.
Does anybody know of any commercially available PXI Breadboard cards available other than the ones produced by Pickering? (And as a bonus IVI drivers!). All my searches have produced vendors that have stopped manufacture (i.e. PXIT.COM)
    Thanks

    Hello Uncle_Fester:
Well, they have functions that are ANSI C compatible. If you are using LabWindows/CVI, then it will be compatible also. If you are using LabVIEW, then you can use "Call Library Function Node" to call their DLL's.
    I hope this helps.

  • Are there any free APPS that allow for chang/embellish  the folder icon

    tired of blue folders.
there must be some kind of app that can change its appearance or change color or whatever.
can one change the text font of indiv folders?
wouldnt one expect this from OS X4.6
im shocked it has to be the same old blue folder

    Hi, Glenn.
You can assign any icon you want to a file or folder: see "Mac OS X 10.4 Help: Changing the icon of a file or folder.”.
You can find nice sets of icons (what you need for step 1) at sites like Icon Factory or ResExcellence.
Some folks really like the inexpensive shareware application FolderBrander for customizing folders. There's a free trial period and it seems very reasonably priced for what it does.
The freeware application TinkerTool will allow you to change some of the default fonts used in Tiger.
When looking for new applications, I recommend searching MacUpdate or Version Tracker. The user-submitted reviews accompanying the listings can be helpful in sorting the wheat from the chaff.
    Good luck!

  • Are there any relay modules available for Compact Fieldpoint, and if not, what are the alternatives?

I'm speccing out a Fieldpoint system, and although Compact Fieldpoint has many features that make it superior to Fieldpoint for my application, I'm wondering why no relay modules seem to be available for it.
The cFP-RLY-420 is referenced in the manual it shares with the FP-RLY-420, and a search in the product section comes up with several pages that aren't viewable, but it doesn't seem to be currently available.
More importantly, if there are no relay modules available at this time, what would be the alternatives for switching? A small Opto22 backplane wired to a DO module perhaps?

    Mako,
Several of the more specialized modules in FieldPoint have not yet been released in Compact FieldPoint. However, National Instruments is presently working on releasing most of these traditional FieldPoint module in the future.
Depending on your application, either the cFP-DO-401 or cFP-DO-410 (which are both providing sourcing outputs) may be a possible alternative. The DO-401 module can sustain up to 2 A per channel, 8 A squared per module whereas the DO-410 can sustain up to 1 A per channel. Please note that these modules only handle low voltage DC.
